If they were going to do that it would've been done at launch. All they're doing is relying on the 3DS's better encryption etc and only allowing pokemon hatched or caught in X/Y (indicated by a blue pentagon near the name in the status screen) in tournaments. The fact that the community wrote a better hack checker than nintendo use is more than a little disappointing.

Doesn't that limit a LOT of the tutor moves only available in BW2? Unless they can be bred on, many Pokemon will be missing vital coverage moves, etc. Seems a bit silly to be honest.

edit: and also many pokemon only available in previous gens such as the lati twins, swords of justice, etc.

I doubt it was a 6IV Chimchar. He even said "I just wrote 6IV Chimchar". And plus, he wouldn't tell us the information which is very suspicious, especially since you would want to be proud of having bred a 6IV Chimchar. This is why I can't trust the GTS but I'm very glad the guy I got my Chimchar from on the GTS was telling the truth about the 5IVs.

Yep, exactly. It's a ridiculous half-measure and not even all that effective at stopping people as people can just cheat 6IV hidden nature egg-move-having parents and transfer them over and breed stuff at a massive advantage anyway.

Really annoys me.

Got some kewl things from trading some of the Iron Fist Chimchars I bred. Got a Prankster Murkrow, Moxie Pinsir, Speed Boost Venipede, Swift Swim Poliwag, and a Regenerator Duosion.
So I kind of Wonder Traded away an Adamant Pinsir that I no longer needed, and as I was going to breed my Murkrow for an Adamant one, I then realized that the Pinsir still had my Everstone .____. So it's time to go hunt down some Roggenrolas and Gravelers...

So I've been breeding Noibats lately, and it took me about 19 for me to get the one I wanted (I'm not too picky about IVs, I usually just go for "relatively superior" with good stats in whatever they're going to use most, in this case Speed and Sp. Atk), and then I realized I had used the wrong Ditto. All of the Noibats were Jolly instead of Timid. Hopefully it won't take too long to get another decent one.

I traded my Scizor for a Rotom-W.. Its owner asked a 4IVs for 4IVs trade..
I was so excited, but the Rotom-W has 0IVs.

I'm really annoyed, I really hate this kind of people.. Fortunately, I've breeded a 5IVs (0 SAtk ) Schyter now.

BTW, have some Impish+HA Gligars with 3-4-5 IVs (I have to go to check)

I'm going to assume that you don't actually have a Venusaur yet.

I personally didn't use the Kanto starter and especially not the uber-level Torchic, but aside from my bias your team is pretty decent. Some of the moves could obviously be better but that's for later.

I do have venasaur. Any team suggestions

yeah I forgot that Gen I was one of the weird ones ugh.

I mean, either do it like Gen II with the heavily varying levels that stick out to me or do it like Gen III where everything is set.
