Alright guys, back on track, trying to beat the game and catch Mewtwo in 24 hours!
(Oct. 21, 2013  10:10 PM)H3LLO Wrote: [ -> ]Sorry if this might be off topic, but how would you know what IV's your Pokémon has? I know there are characteristics, but how can you tell from that?

There is an IV calculator for android phones. And in the Pokemon center in Kiloude City there is a guy near the entrance to the changing room who will tell you which IVs are the best. So if you know what each characteristic does then you can factor which IVs are what.

my lucario is alert to sound so that means that it's speed stat is the best however you can have some stats equal to it. But I calculated all the stats on my calculator based on what evs I put into each stat and yeah Its basically perfect for attack.

Yeah but it cost money. Plus there is no Gen 6 calculator for IOS.
Oh. My. God. So I was in the friend safari looking for a rough skin Gabite when I run into a shiny Gabite!! It's one of the shinies that aren't very cool, but still awesome. I named it Turbo.
Can someone tell me what my Safari Type is?
(Oct. 22, 2013  3:30 AM)Bularieleone Wrote: [ -> ]Can someone tell me what my Safari Type is?

You're water type. Have you beaten the elite four yet because I can only see the 3rd one until you do so? But you have Octillery, and Quagsire.
I have beaten them, you have to beat them to get there. But anyways, I kept my promise and beat the Champion and caught Mewtwo in under 24 hours!

Oh, and Moltres scared the carp out of mw with it's cry in the middle of the night.
So I found Xerneas.... And threw a Master Ball(actually my brother did. But if I was playing I could've caught it with a Pokeball because I'm just special like that) and caught it. Should I have saved it for MewTwo or something?

Yeah, I heard Xerneas and Yveltal have lower catch rates. I got Xerneas down to the yellow-ish zone, and caught it with one ultra ball. But I just got really frustrated trying to catch Mewtwo and ended up using the master ball.

I agree, it was a waste. The Master Ball should be used for Mewtwo or Zygarde. Xerneas was so easy for me!

My brother was being a pain in the rear! He wouldn't give me the 3DS. Even though it's mine and I paid for the game. He thinks he knows EVERYTHING about pokemon. But no, he doesnt. And he's 23... 23! ugghh Tongue_out
The only reason for a Master Ball to be used is because you're lazy, or just can't be stuffed spending a few minutes of your life to catch it.

All the legendaries are super easy to catch (Xerneas/Yveltal especially), probably to make up for all the slow animations etc.

You have been added!
I just keep battling the Elite Four over and over again. I really wish I had a friend with an Audino safari Unhappy
Just added a bunch of you guys (Cannon, AJ, Bularieleone, Blackizard, Kei, Ryuujin M and Clefairy). Feel free to add me back 0318-7783-7967 =)

Got through the 7th gym and dealt with Team Flare back in Lumiose. Didn't go further after them into Geosenge as I'm still deciding on what nature I want Xerneas, so I've also been breeding some Synchronize Munnas I got off of the GTS while sending all the leftovers through Wonder Trade. Actually got a Gale Wings Fletchling from it!
Also raised a Goodra, it's cute =) Raised a Magnezone as well to help with catching Xerneas.

I was wondering, if you KO Xerneas, can you exit Team Flare's HQ and go change team members, restock on stuff and then comeback? I wanted to go there with my regular team and beat all the Flare guys first before bringing in my Synchronizer + Magnezone with an open team slot for Xerneas.

Not sure if it has been mentioned here, but all Legendaries seem to always have at least 3 max IVs, along with all pokés in the no egg group (stuff like Riolu, Mantyke, Azurill), while Pokémon found in the Friend Safari always have at least 2 max IVs. This is a big help along side the Destiny Knot.

The Lucario Korrina gives you is always Hasty and has a 31 Speed IV. I think its attacking stats are also high (like 25).
You don't need Magnezone, or anything for that matter. Just toss a few PokeBalls and you're done.

Yeah you can, it just stays there until caught.

If you catch Xerneas, the game will ask you if you want to move it from your box to your party.

I caught a female Riolu in the beginning on route 22 with a Jolly nature, had 31 Attack, HP, and speed IVs breed that with the Event Blazekin and got a near perfect Riolu that had 31 IVs in every stat except Special attack.
Just now realizing that my Zygarde has Adamant nature...

And I just love how almost all the legendaries you can catch aren't stationary. They all do something if you get too close, except Zygarde.
