Anyways, I don't know if i want to start my X again since everything 'good' in there will be moved to my Y. Mega Stones, Legendaries, exclusivities, etc. Plus I want to start with Delphox, but not sure if i should leave it to XY's successor or not .. :s

And there is something such as a Ursaring Sweeper. If I get the first turn I always OHKO everything that isnt steel/fighting with Facade. I hit Ghost types with Toxic and switch Ursaring with something else.

Generally things that are in the NU tier aren't very good, and for Ursaring that's because it's too slow to be a sweeper in most tiers. Also, Gengar is immune to both Facade and Toxic, and is one of the main Ghost types for competitive play, and Ursaring gets Crunch (though Gengar will KO you first because Ursaring is so slow and not very bulky).

He's talking about before that, just scroll up a bit, but this is getting off topic and I'd rather not see you banned.

A Scrappy, Boombursting Exploud is quite good for a team, but sorta slow but can be fixed when Scarfed. It can usually take down Ghosts and Substitute teams or at the. wry least, inflict some high damage.

So I tried out a Sand Rush Excadrill and it's so terrible ugh. You rarely ever get to set up a Sandstorm (could try to use Tyranitar as well, or wait for the foe to send out theirs), I should have gone for the Mold Breaker one. I think I'll set a Drill Running one next though, since I'm usually going to have Manectric out at the same time in Double Battles (or a water type most-likely to Lightningrod all the electric moves).

EDIT!: Hold on! I just got a critical capture manectric but it broke free ?? I heard the sound and saw the shaking, what the hell ?

EDIT 2: Oh just found out that it's not always guaranteed to catch, well that's new ..

So I just got a Chimchar with 5ivs from the GTS. I am breeding it now and will soon have a 5iv Infernape, which is my favorite Pokemon. I'll have a few Chimchars soon so I'll give some of them away if you guys want.

EDIT: Just got Mudkip too. I'm putting up a few of these on the GTS to get the other starters and other stuff I need.

Just versed a Latios over Battle Spot, thought it would kill my team, but turns out it couldn't handle a Brave Bird. Oh wells.


I really want new Pokes on my team, just less than 24 hours to go!

Went on Wonder Trade in hopes of getting some transferred Pokemon from Asia. I ended up with a Chimchar, which I bred and traded to my friend for a Mudkip.

What I'm really interested in is Turtwig, Cyndaquil, and Oshawott. The rest I can wait for.

Ok, finally found my charger. Any suggestions for good teams? I'm willing to breed and EV.\

Your highest is an 11, which is reaaaalllly bad. Also Docile is useless as a nature, it does nothing.

Fissure isn't worth it, most competitive scenes don't allow OHKO moves and it has terrible accuracy to begin with.

I know nothing about this EV and IV stuff. I need a lot of help with it. If anyone is willing to teach me that'd be great because I don't understand what I've been reading about it. PM if you can. Please be someone that actually can, haha.

Read the guides on Serebii. That's how I learned all about that stuff, and Serebii is most definitely the best Pokemon website for that kind of thing. But Smogon is the place to go to learn competitive strategies and movesets. And in 6th gen, EV training is so much easier and IV breeding is easier to so it shouldn't be too hard. http://www.serebii.net/games/evs.shtml

Also, if you're playing in-game there isn't much of a need to worry. This only applies to competitive Pokemon, in-game you should be fine.

The only time you'll want to know about IVs and Natures is when you're getting the Legendaries, because you can only get those once.

I like useless natures. Plus, I don't know how it started with Fissure, It's bred with Ditto and it's Lvl 38.

You might want to get yourself a water type there ! Get Floatzel if you like; it's fast and physical.

Forgot to add Wartortle, haha. Take out Venipede .

You might end up switching that Pikachu and the Litleo. I recommend switching for a Psychic, Fairy, or Dark type.

If you want fun then keep the Pikachu. It's a cool Pokemon to use despite it being super weak, I used it in my X for the journey. Its cry is awesome.

e: Wow I realised Australia's Pokemon Bank release date is Dec. 28. Dangit

e2: Finally ! After several hours of Wonder Trading, in search for something out of Kalos, i got a Snivy. Not going to use it, but still !

e3: OMG I GOT A FEEBAS ! YAY

e4: Formatting my 3DS now, in hopes for a Normal Safari. It does work peeps, but mine sequences from: Flying, Flying, Ghost, Ghost, Ice, Ice, Fighting, Fighting, Normal (got Loudred, Tediursa, aaaand ... Eevee). Hopefully the the next one is a Ditto. if it is, i'll share with you guys first before others. Hopefully I get one.

Use that Feebas against everyone who puts important pokemon on the GTS asking for one. But breed it first, so you can get all of them.

Why Beedrill though? Clearly it's not an offensive powerhouse, especially since it knows cut.
Also, what badge are you on? Some of the moves you have on your Pokemon(eg Greninja) are pretty bad.
