My team update:
Pikachu
Frogadier
Scatterbug
Fletchling
Korrina was by far the easiest gym leader for me. I sweeped her entire team with my level 30-31 Honedge without taking any damage. At the beginning of the battle, I set up 3 swords dances, and I just kept using Aerial Ace from there, taking down all 3 of her pokemon with one hit each.

I think some of the X mega evo are more enhanced or a bit more powerful which is good for strategic use. Also Xerneas has two different forms, Neutral Mode and Active Mode. AKA Arcues the II. I haven't tried Y yet though, but I will try it once I get my 5th badge from X then take a break from it.

Ok thanks I think I may get X!Smile

I'd look at this first before you decide.
Guys, if you're going to post your team, at least try to include some type of comment on it/the game (beyond "I have X badges", etc.) with it. Otherwise, your posts aren't particularly interesting and are borderline SPAM.
How much time do you guys think it will take for you to beat the game?
so i dont think i posted yet but i have the game. im playing x and i already have a fully ev-trained with nice natures combusken. i also have a lv 28 fletchinder, a 25 frogadier, a lv 24 charmelion, lv 18 honedge and a newly revived tyrunt.
So my team is basically done after I beat the 4th gym leader. All I need now is a dusk stone to evolve Doublade, and a few more levels to evolve Tyrunt. So here's my team:
-Cloud the Greninja- Pretty reliable pokemon all together, and I love the tongue scarf.

-Rex the Venusaur- Basically my main pokemon, and he's helped me a lot so far especially with his mega evolution.

-Nessy the Lapras- Yes, another water type, but this one will help a lot against dragon type users, and he looks so darn cool while surfing!

-Songbird the Talonflame- Best flying type ever.

-Chomp the Tyrunt- My favorite fossil pokemon by far, my new favorite rock type, and might beat Garchomp as my favorite Dragon type. Simply awesome!

-Tetra the Doublade- So helpful, it easily destroyed Korrina, and helped out a lot against the 4th gym leader with it's Aerial Ace. I can't wait until it's an AegiSlash!

X might just be the best pokemon game yet, 10/10 so far for me.

I've played in the game for 18 hours (within a day lol), and am now in Lasandre Base or something which is after the 7th Gym. So .. somewhat 24 hours.
I hope there are lots of dragon and/or fairy types in the packs.
Jeez, Cannon! I'm not even on the second gym yet!

Dragon types are way to common in this game, and seem to have attached it to a lot of Pokemons. Skrelp's evo, Gooma, Noivern, Tyrunt, etc.

Haha!! The time between the first and second gym is really long, it took me a couple of hours to get there!
I only get to play 2-3 hours a day so it may take me a while.
Goomy and his evolutions look really awesome, but I'm not going to be using one since I already have a dragon type(Tyrantrum) on my team, but I'll definitely use him on Y once I get it. I'm actually catching quite a few pokemon, besides my main 6. I'm trying to get every pokemon that eventually gets a mega evolution, and just some other cool pokemon.
Man, I'm loving the new attack animations a whole bunch. Although the 3D effect is a little... underwhelming a lot of the time. Honestly, there's barely a difference, maybe it's just because I haven't reached any cgi cutscenes yet. I hope there's something cool in 3D (maybe before fighting Xerneas?)

Oh, and my team right now is just Chespin/Locke, Zigzagoon/Noiz, Riolu/Eirika, Simipour/Nikito, and Fletchling/Sage. Definitely going to add Charmader whenever I get him, and Zigzagoon might sadly be replaced (Pancham, possibly.)
Just a note: You have to catch the X/Y Legendary. If you run, kill or lose (your losing Pokemon gets revived and healed half) it will stay there.

That good, since I accidentally forgot to save and walked up to it.

Oh and you battle like 15 Team Flare admins, and the boss 3 times. Quite annoying ..
Cannon, is the Yvetal battle music different from Xeneas? I have already heard Xerneas's theme.
Yeah, Yveltal's is the same as Xerneas' and Zygarde's. What's different is the background, instead of the aurora background, it's galaxy/spacey.

Wait so I can just faint it and come back later to SR it to be shiny? Or is it like the case in BW where it cannot ever be "legitimately" shiny....
Got my X version yesterday =) Just running with a Frogadier and Charmander right now, about to leave Lumiose. Spent a lot of time messing with Super Training yesterday and maxed both of them. Pretty fun, but EV training with the Power Items + Pokérus and Join Avenue in B2W2 is still faster.

Not sure who I'll use next. I definitely want Tyrunt. Might pick up Honedge and a Magikarp for Gyra too. Helioptile maybe as well. I'd get Axew, but I did that twice during the 5th gen. Haven't decided if I want to use some Fairy type either.

Love how the game looks, although the fps drops sometimes during battles with 3D on. I picked the female character btw, just looks soo much better and cute :3 Haven't been able to check the boutique in Lumiose yet for new clothes.
Geez, this game is way too easy. I am literally finished with this game; cathing Zygarde currently and need to catch the three birds. Seriously, the aftergame is very poor and short, you have nothing to do ..

I guess i'll start with X soon.

e: lol, how Zygarde is a Dragon-type is beyond me. It looks like a slug, why not make it bug?
Since I have last posted my team, I have now improved.
Frogadier Lv 30
Charmeleon Lv 28
Vivillon Lv 25
Flechinder Lv 27
Lucario Lv 24
Meowstic Lv 25
I have to say the game is pretty good so far, I just got the second badge. It took me awihle to find the gym(I was sleepy) and my Riolu and Espurr evolved a few minutes ago. I'm finally moving from where those people were blocking the way to Route 11.

And Cannon, you are too skilled for Pokemon. Just go catch all the legindaries in 3 hours or something.

Dude if you have ever seen any Pokemon X and Y video you would have been able to tell that. You can right Gogoats and Rhyhorns across terrains, but I think that is it.

You can also ride Mamoswine in an avalanche of snow.

I just play the game like normal, how is that skilled hahah! The E4 has not changed at all and still have the current 4 Pokemon, shame.
