Turns out it's just a special. Oh well, still cool. I would rather have a full series of course, but it's not bad. I definitely hope it's more mature, and I have a feeling it might be.
I don't understand why everyone wants X. I want Y, but I will most likely get both and then use X to get all 3 starters on Y.
Psh, Yveltal looks better, so I'm getting Y. (Actually I prefer Y, but I'll be getting both in case one has something in it that is required for an unlock in the opposite game.)
Xerneas looks like a cross between Stantler and a tree.

I'm not a huge fan of either legendary, but I like Xerneas better. Yveltal looks strange in my opinion, and I kind of like Xerneas' design. I usually get both games, so yeah, but so far I'm liking X more due to the exclusives, and the legendary.

Sadly, a Feraligatr mega evolution hasn't been revealed yet...But, since they realeasd a mega evolution for blaziken, maybe they will make one for all the other starters.

A couple days ago I picked up the pre-order poster. It's fairly big, like the Minecraft posters from Wal-Mart. It has Yvetal and Xerneas on the front and the Kalos region map on the back. I also only need Five dollars fr the game!

Oh my god. Kanto starters got mega evolutions, and they look awesome. I really dislike Charizard, but his mega evolution looks amazing, and so does Venusaur's which is my favorite kanto starter. Blastoise looks alright, but the other two look much better. And yes, we get the kanto starters in X and Y. Apparently, the new Professor gives you one of the kanto starters, and you get one of the 6th gen starters from your friends. Now I really don't know which starter to pick. I'm thinking maybe Chespin, and Charmander. Or Fennekin, and Bulbasaur. But I want Talonflame! Oh, the tough decisions are on their way.
Now with this, running fire monotype teams based on looks has never been so easy.
FINALLY OMG!! I love the new Charizard and Blastoise!!But it also said in the nintendo direct that there would be even more Mega Evolutions to come after the 3 kanto starters. I hope there will be mega Magmortar and Mega Electivire!

It might actually be smart to get Charmander AND Fenniken since Mega Charizard's ability is drought.

I watched the direct a few mintues after it finished and I gotta admit I was surprised to see you would be getting 2 starters. I'm stuck though! Charmander is my favorite Gen 1 starter but I also like Fennekin, however I don't want 2 Fire type starters. Ehh.
With the mega evolutions I was kind of not so sure on the idea, but I'm kinda liking it now, especially with the mega evolutions of the 3 starters! And plus you don't have to mega evolve them anyway.

every pokemon is created equally, Accept Arceus it's the freakin god that created them all. But I have always wondered who created Arceus?
