I'm pretty sure the Shiny rate got increased in the Friend Safari, and I heard it somewhere on Youtube that it's a 1/2000 chance or something.

As for shinies, I remember I had the most prolific encounter rate in SoulSilver. My first ever shiny was a Tentacool off the coast of Lilycove City in Ruby, but in SoulSilver...

1st File: The very last grass patch before entering the Lake of Rage and catching the Red Gyarados, I found a shiny Flaaffy.
I went back to SoulSilver once during Pokemon Black/White to catch an Ekans to make Dark Pulse Hydreigon. At 12 AM, I'm running around and find a shiny Mareep. I'm half-asleep and ALMOST hit the run button, but then I stop myself and catch it lol

2nd File: First Pokemon encountered in Victory Road as I step in: shiny Golbat.

It's the Hidden Ability I wanted, so the Capsule wouldn't work.

I still ended up using it on my team, my god it sucks. Bullet Seed hit twice the first time I tried it out, and got killed by a Belly Drummed Aqua Jet (oc it would die haha).

I want a Shiny Seviper, and a Bulbasaur, and please no nickname if you trade me a bulbasaur, it cant be a Japanese name, just a plain BULBASAUR, I will take a Ivysaur and a Venusaur too, and @ Triforceblader

God, I haven't had any luck on wonder trade, im tired of getting lame lvl 1 pokemon for my lame lvl one pokemon, I was trying to get a shiny or a kanto pokemon from wonder trade but it didnt work.

I love Wonder Trade in X and Y a lot. Last night I got a Pawniard and Togepi. Both had bad natures, but I'm about to start breeding them for good natures and IV's. Pretty excited that I got them because I've wanted them both for a little while in this game, but I was always doing something else and never got the chance. I wish I realized something while wonder trading last night though;I had some Gastly's from trades and breeding and I traded one away that had Timid nature and I believe good IV's by accident

1. that seems, complicatedly picky.
2. it gets cheeper as you shop around lumious.
3. good luck getting a shiny over wonder trade because people are greedy and very rarely will someone actually give out a shiny over wonder trade let alone you or even myself happen to be wonder trading at the time that rare person is actually giving away a shiny. people use wonder trade to get rid of pokemon they don't want in their box, so check those level one pokemon, they might have really good ivs from someone iv breading.

I caught a shiny Skiddo and a shiny Ditto a few weeks ago. Does anyone know the chance of Ditto's shininess passing down to a baby pokemon if I breed it with a non-shiny pokemon? I need to know so I can breed it with some of my other pokemon.

Does anyone want any Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Froakie, Chespin, Fennekin, Ralts, Riolu, Hawlucha, or Speed boost torchic egg pokes let me know because I have alot!

In return I would like a pokemon with 4 ivs or greater. None of these pokemon have any garunteed IVs and are all level one pokes.

Wonder Trade, the only good one I received is a Rotom ! < I was actually looking for it that very same day and I was so lucky. People keep wanting Legendaries in return for that damn thing.

IKR? I got a Jap Rotom with 3 good IVs Level 1 too. What I found incredible is that on my first try of using the synchronize method for catching a pokemon of a certain nature I caught a 5 IV Timid Mewtwo!

I need to start to build my army. I really need some 5 IV pokes to train. Anyone have any left over ones from breeding?

, chaining hasn't work for me, I always end up either accidently using the Circle Pad or sometimes its a fluke and says "Huh, their seem to be no pokemon around" and sometimes even if I follow everything its just the wrong pokemon and my chain is broken. I have to try again......

this is the best guide for chaining but yes it requires allot of patience and is easier on the 2ds just because of how the buttons are placed (ive tried it). the other way is hatching eggs through the matsuda method and is the most certain way to get a particular one you want, but that is the most boring thing i have ever done and i failed to get the one i wanted as i posted before, damn gastly.

most have 2-3 good Ivs (Outstanding judge quality by the way) and they have an adamant nature :3

1. that is illegal. 2. i have only found one (i wanted to play the vanguard video game as its jap only) and that is the most stupid amount of loops you have to go through to actually get to it and its going to end up costing you about $200 in mobile phone fees anyway so you may aswell buy a 2ds for $130 or something like that and the game. Christmas is around the corner so unless you family A) Your parents don't celebrate it B) are money strict or poor C) don't want you to get the game because their like PETA advocates or something else or D) simply don't get you the game for what ever reason, you can get pokemon then, or after because it will probably get boxing day sales.

A 3ds and a game are pretty expensive for some families, you know, and not everyone celebrates Christmas or one of the various analogs from other religions...

However, as far as I know there aren't actually any real 3DS emulators at this point, there are many sites claiming to offer them but they're basically all scams or malware. Also at this point I imagine if there were a real one, it'd still be very slow and buggy anyway, given the resources that would be needed to do that.

Makes me kinda wish Yanmega could learn Thunder Wave. It might not have Serene Grace but it's faster so with Speed Boost it could even out eventually.

This one passerby who challenged me at a bad time, I only had Yanmega and Aegislash on me except for some eggs and Lv.1 Gligars. For a 2 on 6 fight I think I did pretty well thanks to Air Slash.
