World Bladers rejoice! As most of you already know, as of July 18th, the third generation of Beyblade–Beyblade Burst (ベイブレードバースト)–has officially been launched in Japan! In celebration of this momentous occasion, the World Beyblade Organization has taken the time to put together a full review of the series on our official Youtube channel: BeyChannel. Please take a look at the video above!

Spread the word! Share with your friends!
Help us get the word out about this new series by sharing this video with all of your friends and liking it too. Let's show everyone what makes this exciting new series unique and why they should jump back in to the game, or try it for the first time!

A big thanks to Bey Brad for his input in the production of this video, and not only a great script, but the voiceover as well! And thank you as well to Kai-V as well for her input throughout the process. Smile

By the way everyone, if you haven't seen it already, don't forget to check out the HMS & Plastics Remembrance Day + New WBO Authorized Dealer: taka.ohno + more!! announcement we posted the other day! It covers the following:
  • HMS & Plastics Remembrance Day 2015
  • Face Contest: Design an HMS Beyblade!
  • New Avatars
  • Organized Play Rule Changes & Additions
  • BeyDays 2015 BeyLotto & Face Contest: Design a Beyblade Burst Beyblade results!
  • New WBO Authorized Beyblade Dealer: Mr. taka.ohno!!
  • New BeyChannel video for HMS' NOT DEAD! 3

Hi there World Bladers!

Summer's finally onto us, and we've got a bunch of great news for you!

To start off, July coincides with...

HMS & Plastic Remembrance Day!

This year, July 25th is HMS & Plastic Remembrance Day! Of course, any events using the Plastic or HMS format and hosted on July 26th, the Sunday right after, will be accepted, no problem!

All regions are invited to commemorate the first two, Bakuten Shoot Beyblade generations on that day by organising tournaments with the local Bladers. What's more, all participants of an HMS and/or Plastic event hosted on July 25th and/or 26th will receive one additional Credit just for the occasion! That means you can get two Credits just for entering the tournament, which gets you at least one Face Booster or more in the Blader Rewards campaign!

Currently, these are the areas keeping the beginnings of Beyblade particularly at heart:

Plastic Tactic

at Parc Lafontaine

July 25th, 2015
Return of Plastics II

at Central Park South

As usual, there'll be a BeyLotto, but with Beyblade Burst litterally freshening our lives right now, the prizes are the Plastic-themed Face Boosters we don't get to see much of usually! That means that you've got even more chances of obtaining one, on top of those you can get for participating in an HMS-format or Plastic-format tournament with no prizes all year long!

There will be...

...

5 lucky winners! Wow, they still remain rare, but carpe diem, this might be your chance!

In addition to that, the 6th to 15th winners will be able to choose among the following Face Boosters:

Play safe and good luck!

...

But wait, all participants will receive the limited Face Booster ADVANCE as well, guaranteed! [Image: faceboosteradvance.png]

Face Contest: Design an HMS Beyblade!

Imagining a Beyblade Burst has already been done, as well as creating a new Plastic Beyblade, so why not turn our artistic minds to HMS now, when we're right in the middle of becoming familiar with the third generation of Beyblades that reminds us of previous lines? This time, we're challenging you to design a new HMS Beyblade, to continue this line of products that was very sadly cut short ten years ago!

Often considered the right mix of metal and plastic in its main part's design, HMS Beyblades came in various vibrant colours with a myriad of surprising gimmicks sometimes. You can truly let your imagination run free in this new Face Contest! You have until August 1st 2015, at 11:59:59 PM EST to submit your entry!

To read all the details on this Face Contest, make sure to check out the following topic:

HMS Face Boosters?

What's that, no focus on HMS Faces?! You're totally right, but that's because those Face Boosters are reserved for a very special purpose: you can get them as thanks for $10 donations!

New Avatars

The traditional introduction of new avatars is back, but this year, we commemorate the frankly bizarre Beyblades that Bakuten Shoot has come to rhyme with. Seriously, who thought a guitar Beyblade sounded like a good idea??

[Image: drakeos.png] [Image: wolfeos.png] [Image: bandeos.png] [Image: frankeos.png] [Image: talguitar.png] [Image: talgatling.png] [Image: trygator.png] [Image: tryhorn.png] [Image: canariers.png] [Image: starstripe.png]

Enjoy!

Happy HMS & Plastics Remembrance Day!

Organized Play Rule Changes & Additions
  • Team format officially added to the Organized Play Rulebook and the Event Guide.

  • Burst format added! With a tentative initial decision to only allow Beyblade Burst stadiums in this format, and reversely ban Beyblade Burst BeyStadiums from the other formats.

  • The BeyStadium Matrix was moved to its own page, with some clarifications added for stadiums not listed and not by Hasbro.

  • A clarification was added to the in- and out-of-play area. Not only does a Beyblade have to land in an area of the stadium where it can feasibly come back inside the main play surface, but it has to do this bounce immediately upon entering the pockets of the BeyStadium.

  • Limited banlist reconfigured slightly.

  • As was mentioned in the BEYDAYS 2015 announcement, when using the Block Round Robin format, a total of at least two Bladers from each Block must advance to the finals, with a maximum of eight finalists.

  • The previously announced reduced number of participants and result submitting process have been added to the Event Guide, and are effective and obligatory immediately.

  • The rule on fake attachment has been slightly amended in order to clarify future legal and illegal instances.

BeyLotto & Face Contest results!

You've all been waiting for them and they're now ready!

Face Contest results

After a few days of deliberation, a clear winner has come out of the Face Contest: Design a Beyblade Burst!

All of the entries were simply amazing; you guys really put all your brains and all your effort into your imaginary Beyblades, whether you had powerful tools to illustrate them or not. None of you should consider yourselves losers, everybody deserves a huge round of applause and many congratulations!

As such, it was very difficult to determine the top three. But five minds came together and the consensus was that...

...

...

Momohimi!

...

SCARlet!

...

username2130!

All win one of the following Face Boosters, as part of the official top 3!!

You guys can post your selection directly in this thread.

And now, for the top winner amongst those three...

...

...

It's SCARlet!!

You entry was not only visually appealing, but you perfectly respected key aspects of the new Beyblade Burst tops, such as a Layer with a vague design and consisting of a clear casing with coloured plastic underneath. Even though the medium used does not guarantee a win, the design was so fair, respectful of continuity and nice that it had to be chosen! Congrats! Make sure to send your address to Kei to claim your prize, by private message!

BeyDays 2015 BeyLotto

Despite most reliable hosts being gathered at Anime North, we were able to pull off a very decent number of participants to BeyDays this year! It's really great that we can all get together to enjoy Beyblade all at the same time. And of course, that involved the chance of winning prizes in the BeyLotto! Who are the richer winners?!

This year, the Face Boosters up for grabs are ALL of them, wow!

The Bladers who get to choose one of the above Face Boosters are...

originalzankye
Primus
geetster99
Ritsuka
[]loyd87[/s]
_BlueWolfFang_
xHB SAUCEx
Dark_Mousy
Time
Hato
Cye Kinomiya
Manicben
Wombat
~Thunder~
The Best Duck
ULTIMATE BLAZE
Kei
pyrus10000

Congratulations everybody! Post your choice of Face Booster right in this topic as well, and we'll distribute everything shortly!

The two Bladers who have the very hard task of choosing a Beyblade Burst Booster of their liking are...

...

Mitsu!

...

And DJ ALPHA!

Now, the two Bladers who've just won a Beyblade Burst Starter of their choice are...

...

UltimateOrion!

And Suntailhawk!

And the lucky winner of a DX Starter from Beyblade Burst will be...

...

...

LMAO!

Awesome job praying to Blader DJ, guys! Your wishes were granted, at least partially! If you've won a physical prize, go right ahead and send your address and your choice to Kei to claim it!

New WBO Authorized Beyblade Dealer: Mr. taka.ohno!!

That's right, a new seller is entering the special zone of WBO Authorized Beyblade Dealers! Some of you may already know him on eBay as taka.ohno. We're proud to announce his collaboration with exclusive deals for WBO Members! Here's a message from him:

taka.ohno Wrote:I'm originally an ebay seller specialized in Beyblades, located in the city of Beyblade, Tokyo, Japan.
I started selling Beys from BB-105 Big Bang Pegasis F:D back on March, 2011.

Feedback I received on ebay is 100% positive after 3,447 successful transactions as of July 5, 2015. (please check the feedback I left.)
I have never cheated my customers by duplicating my positive feedback for myself using multiple accounts or never purchased Beys from other ebay Bey seller to leave a negative feedback like some Bey seller from Taiwan has done before.

I have also been an official supplier for Zankye's Youtube Channel "Beyblade World" by Jose Lemos since 2012.

Today I'm honored to become an WBO Authorized Dealer before the launch of Beyblade Burst in Japan on July 18, 2015 and here's the reasons why I'm here.

Latest Beys are too expensive on ebay?

- Write me and get 10% off the best ebay Buy It Now price including shipping for all the Beyblade Burst products available in Japan. You'll receive a 10% off Paypal invoice in 24 hours.

- I use the least expensive "ECONOMY AIR SAL WITH NO TRACKING NUMBER" to realize the lowest price for you who never had a problem with international shipping with no tracking number.

However a tracking number is also available for your peace of mind as well as faster shipping methods such as AIRMAIL, E-PACKET (AIRMAIL+TRACKING) or EMS for actual shipping increase if you're in hurry.

- I will try to meet your request on the shipping details as much as possible. All your request has to be made before your payments as your Bey may be posted as soon as your completed payment.

Beys takes too long to arrive?

- I am conveniently located near Japan's two primary airports, 68 kilometers from Narita and 13 kilometers from Haneda. Over 60% of internatinal flights in Japan depart from these airports. With these two airports combined Tokyo has the third busiest city airport system in the world, after London and New York. Send me a message before your payment, ask for a faster shipping methods such as AIRMAIL, E-PACKET (AIRMAIL+TRACKING) or EMS only for actual shipping increase and be the first to get the latest Beys!

- I am also conveniently located only 18 km from Tokyo International Post Office, one of only 6 international post offices in Japan combined with customs. According to the tracking records, after posting it takes only 0.4 day average for your Bey to arrive at the office and 1.8 days average to go through the customs and leave the office.

- I am also conveniently located only 1.3 km from a local post office with 24/7 service. I deliver your Bey directly to the office every day including weekends and never wait for them to pick your Bey up.

- Your Bey doesn't spend too much time in Japan and leave Japan very quickly. The rest of the duration heavily depends on the shipping method you choose. It is up to you either to save and wait for your ECONOMY AIR SAL WITH NO TRACKING NUMBER to arrive patiently or pay more and get your Bey quick via faster shipping methods.

- I don't ship to South America on ebay but I do on WBO. ECONOMY AIR SAL to Brazil can take up to max. 6 months to arrive. If you cannot wait this long please request for faster shipping method before your payment. Otherwise please wait patiently without opening a Paypal case or dispute to continue your benefit of purchasing from me.

- ECONOMY AIR SAL to Canada and Italy may take up to max. 45 days. If you cannot wait this long please request for faster shipping methods before your payment. Otherwise please wait patiently without opening a Paypal case or dispute to continue your benefit of purchasing from me.

Bey or its package arrived damaged in an envelope or plastic bag?

- I do not use light weight materials to save on shipping and increase profit. Your Bey is securely bubble wrapped and put in a custom-fit corrugated cardboard box to minimize the risk of damage.

Purchased fake Beys in the past?

- I purchase Beys only from authorized WBBA stores, WBBA / COROCORO COMIC events in Japan. Bey products has always been and will be planned, designed and engineered by TAKARA TOMY located in TOKYO only 24km from me. Its manga has always been and will be on Corocoro Comic published by SHOGAKUKAN located in TOKYO only 14km from me. Its TV anime has always been and will be broadcasted by TV TOKYO located in TOKYO only 11km from me. Buy your Bey from a store located in a city dominated by genuine Beys and a city where there is absolutely no market for fake Beys. For your reference over 90% of fake luxury goods (over 28,800 items) exposed in 2014 in Japan were imported from China.

Want to save the earth?

- Your Bey will be transported by 100% electric Nissan Leaf which produces no tailpipe pollution or greenhouse gas emissions at the point of operation, and contributes to reduced dependence on petroleum.

- Corrugated cardboard box used for packing is 100% recycled. Bubble wrap is partially recycled but I try to use as much recycled bubble wrap as possible.

Doesn't that sound nice? You can contact him by private message to his account here : http://worldbeyblade.org/User-taka-ohno
You should also start seeing his topics in the WBO Authorized Dealers sub-forum shortly. For the moment, you can visit his shop on eBay, but keep in mind that there'll be a special discount for WBO Members only if you purchase items from him here, via private message!

Wassup World Bladers?! Rise and shine, summer's here and it brings our favorite holiday:

BeyDays 2015
May 23rd - May 24th

It's the lucky number 7 of all BeyDays! Woo!! For six years, through good Beyblade years and bad years, Bladers all around the world have challenged the obstacles in our path to celebrate the best hobby ever! Dare I say it: are you guys ready for the next chapter in your Beystory!?

Yet another, third North American Championship has been organized by the WBO, this time fueling the latest format introduced: Team Format! Of course, as a championship, qualifiers have been held in a few regions of North America and some fiery Bladers have fought their way to a paid travel expenses prize package, so they get free entry to the championships. However, it's also open to all those who dare step foot within this realm of fighters, so come on out if you're tough enough! You can find out more about this championship and the side events and activities that enhance this experience right here: WBO North American Championship: Team Battle Revolution!

But hold on, the world certainly doesn't revolve around one region! So, we're calling out all the hosts who aren't already going to the Anime North convention for the North American Championship. T'is the irony of holding a world-renowed event each year, but we know so far that there are several areas planning tournaments for BeyDays. Here is a list of who is planning, alongside the currently confirmed events:

Planning Events:
[Image: us.png] Raleigh, North Carolina, USA
[Image: ca.png] Montréal, Québec, Canada

Confirmed Events:
Team BeyBattle Revolution
[Image: ca.png] Toronto - May 23 2015
at Anime North 2015

HMS BeyBattle Revolution + Side Events
[Image: ca.png] Toronto - May 24 2015
at Anime North 2015

London Rising: BeyDays Ver.
[Image: gb.png] London - May 16 2015
at Regent's Park

London has been granted an exception to host an event for BeyDays on May 16th.

To help everyone out, we're putting these cool features back on the menu for you this year:
  • Regions who have never hosted a WBO tournament in the past will be able to hold a free event for BeyDays 2015 without the $5 entry fee!
  • We will also waive the entry fee for regions that have not hosted an approved tournament in the last five months!
  • If you can't quite get the eight seven required confirmed participants yet, we'll send invites to the Members who signed up on the BeyMap in your area to urge them to attend and have fun on BeyDays, before the Event Proposal is even approved!
  • We're increasing the limit of Credits that can be gained during one weekend from the regular 8 to 16! We're blowing away the laws, battle all night!

BeyDays, with all those exceptions, is the best opportunity to start up an active Beyblade scene in your region for the rest of the year! Don't doubt it: you can always find someone hiding under a rock whom you weren't expecting!

Wondering what BeyDays is like?
Check out the sixth and final video in the GRAND BATTLE TOURNAMENT 2 video series from Anime North 2014, GRAND BATTLE ENCORE: Zero-G!:

You can view even more tournament videos here on BeyChannel.

So, do you want to host a BeyDays 2015 tournament in your area?
Click here for details! (Click to View)

In addition, a sweet new Face of Days VI [Image: Face_of_Days_VI.png] will be given to all participants of these BeyDays tournaments! That's right, no need for a super accomplishment or a 10-0 record in the event, it's automatic!

And 3, 2, 1 ...

... BeyLotto!

Of course, the BeyLotto comes back, with a vengeance! It's a special edition this year. Not only will every participant of a BeyDays tournament be automatically entered in this BeyLotto, but Passport Holders can also enter this time! As usual, the more tournaments you enter, the more chances you have in the lottery which will be done completely at random. So, for example, if you attend two tournaments and purchased a Blader Passport, you've got three entries in the BeyLotto. How's that! What that also means is that you don't even need to have played in one of the BeyDays events to enter, although it helps!

Blader Passports can be purchased at the cost of $10 US either online via our Passport page, or at any official WBO tournament.

Guess what... We're really, really fired up with Beyblade Burst looming on the horizon, so this'll be a complete Beyblade Burst-themed BeyLotto! You read that right: before they're even officially released, we're giving you a guaranteed preorder for some of the new items from Japan! For the physical prizes, there'll be a total of... 5 winners! Places have not been this limited in a while, so do all you can to help your luck!

Here's the complete list of prizes for the BeyDays BeyLotto:
  • 1st Place - 1 Beyblade Burst DX Starter!
  • 2nd Place - 1 Beyblade Burst Starter!
  • 3rd Place - 1 Beyblade Burst Starter!
  • 4th Place - 1 Beyblade Burst Booster!
  • 5th Place - 1 Beyblade Burst Booster!

At least, that's what the list is so far...! This year's been a little rougher than before, and there aren't that many tournaments being organized for BeyDays. However, sudden donations could definitely tip the Libra scale towards the 230-height sky~!

But wait, that's just for physical prizes! We're also going to give away 20 Face Boosters!! Since we're on the verge of seeing the birth of a whole new Beyblade generation, we're going to give off all the Metal Fight Beyblade Face Boosters to the 6th to 25th Place winners to celebrate what's gone by and brought us all together these past 5+ years! They'll have a choice of:

Wow, can you believe we were gifted with such a track record of Faces?! You'll probably be ripping off all the hair on your head trying to choose the Face Booster you really want!

Trial Ban of F230CF/GCF pair in Zero-G Format

You might think this is coming out of nowhere, but we've been thinking and talking about this issue that a lot of you have brought forward, and we've decided it's probably best to temporarily ban the F230+CF or F230+GCF combinations from the Zero-G format to see exactly what would happen without it.

Since the ban is only temporary, there'll be a trial period determined by the number of Zero-G events: after 10 cumulative tournaments under the Zero-G format have been hosted worldwide, the ban will be lifted, and it'll be time for the real decision to be taken.

For each Zero-G event in and after that period, we would of course like to hear your thoughts on the matter! A new thread has been opened for discussion:
F230CF & F230GCF Trial Ban in Zero-G Format Discussion

So, especially if you've battled in events of that format before and that you participate in a recent one during the trial period, come and tell the community how you liked or disliked the different gameplay, whether combinations remain the same, whether focus has shifted to countering a substitute big bad boss, or any other constructive comment for the debate!

Limited Format Ban List ver. 1.3 - Effective May 4th, 2015

To further spice things up, RS is now unbanned in the Limited Format, effective May 4th, 2015. This should give a chance to Defense types to regain the ground they had lost!

Feel free to post your opinion and tournament experience regarding this update in the Ban List Discussion topic:
MFB Limited Ban List Discussion

Event Guide updates: Team Format, bigger Block Round Robin finals, WBO OP Tournament Results Spreadsheet Template
Just a few small updates will be done to the Event Guide within the next few weeks:

Team Format
- Firstly, Team Format will finally be added to the Event Guide. For those unfamiliar with it, you can read all of the rules here in the mean time.

Block Round Robin: two Bladers must now advance to finals from each block
- Secondly, we have come to realize that having only one player per Block advancing to the finals in a Block Round Robin format tournament was slightly unfair. It essentially meant that you had to have a perfect record to move to the next stage, and that's similar to Single Elimination. And given that luck can play a factor in this game, it makes more sense to allow for a little leeway in terms of what a qualifying record would be in any given tournament.

This means that hosts should now take the top two Bladers from each Block to advance into a Finals Block, with a maximum of eight players. It'll make longer final rounds, but hopefully you all agree that this gives players a few fairer chances of going far in a tournament!

WBO OP Tournament Results Spreadsheet Template is now Mandatory!
- Thirdly, active WBO Organizers have most likely become aware and even commented on it already, but since the reception was rather positive (thanks for the support, guys!), we would like to officially make it mandatory to use the spreadsheet when submitting tournament results.

You can find it right here:
WBO OP Tournament Results Spreadsheet Template Download & Discussion

If this is the first time you're hearing about it, then in short, it's a template that will really help us keep our master spreadsheet updated, and speed up the processing of tournaments. We keep all the tournament results and information in there, even a few winning combinations so far! Submitting results like this instead of sometimes typed out in a private message, sometimes on several Challonge pages, etc. makes one of our tasks much easier! Thanks in advance for your time, although it doesn't take that much longer! And remember that you can always technically have two hosts for any given event, so it would be easy to split up responsibilities if necessary.

We're working towards a massive update to the BeyPoint System which will include spreadsheet uploading for automatic processing of results, so this is the first step towards that!

With the new Beyblade series Beyblade Burst being released this July 2015, and as the biggest community dedicated to Beyblade, we are pleased to announce that we will be giving away Beyblade Burst starter packs to Organizers to distribute in certain regions of the world to maximize the hype and give our Members a first-hand experience of the new beys in our new campaign of tournaments, Beyblade Bursts Onto The Scene!

First 7 Participants at each tournament get a brand new Beyblade to use and take home!
And listen, we're not asking for those products back at the end, no way! Those are really gifts for the community! The first 7 Bladers to arrive at the tournament will randomly pick one Layer, one Disk, and one Driver from the Beyblade Burst items, and leave with it at the end!!

There will be a mandatory $5 USD entry fee for these events, but as you can probably guess: that is well below what the Beyblades will actually cost to import if you were to do it yourself!

We know it's hard for some of you to order online, but that shouldn't be a reason to delay the organization of tournaments using the Beyblade Burst format!!

Since the first few products are getting released around July 18th 2015, there'll be a sort of trial period from July 18th to September 30th during which these events will take place. Don't worry though:
  • The first Beyblade Burst tournament in a region that receives a Starter Pack will not count towards BeyPoints, but Faces and Credits will still be given, so you only get the plus side!
  • Subsequent Beyblade Burst events will not be processed yet, but they may count later in a separate BeyPoint section!

Beyblade Bursts Onto The Scene Starter Packs
will include the following items:

For the moment, only three areas will be part of the Beyblade Bursts Onto The Scene campaign, so mark your calendars and beg your method of transportation to be able to attend one or more of the following tournaments:

Confirmed Events:
[Image: ca.png] Toronto - August 2nd 2015
at High Park

[Image: us.png] North Carolina - August 8th 2015
at Game Theory

[Image: gb.png] London - August 29th 2015
at London's Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park

We are hoping to–at the very least–host one more event, so please stay tuned for details! And if we can afford more, we will do more. We want as many people as possible to get a chance to test out Beyblade Burst. Smile

What happens if there are more than seven players, do you ask?
Quite simply, these first seven, lucky Bladers will be asked to share with the players who came in later to the event when they are not playing in an official battle with it already. Their Beyblade will be returned at the end, because the host will have written down who got what.

We're assuming that regular stadiums like the BeyStadium Attack Type should still work with the Beyblade Burst generation, but we'll just have to adapt if it turns out to be clearly too dangerous or something like that!

What do y'all say about this?! Burst through the crowd and be the winner!

Face Contest: Design a Beyblade Burst Beyblade!
Waah, where's the traditional photography contest?! Don't worry, we ain't forgetting it! It's just that we've been blessed with a new generation of Beyblades that should be making your brains bubble with creativity already!!

So far, Beyblade Burst appears to revolve around some Norse mythology, but it's probably going to touch upon other mythologies of the world as well. So we're asking you: what do you think the next 3-layer Beyblade Burst Beyblade could be? Personally, our minds are threatening to implode with exciting ideas, but we can't even participate! Make sure to read the following pages to know more about exactly what constitutes a Layer, a Disk and a Driver, the three new Beyblade parts in Beyblade Burst!

The deadline for this Face Contest is June 18th 2015 to give a chance to students with end-of-year exams. Good luck everyone!

WBO Limited Offer: $20 BeyStadiums Attack Type!!
As a simple reminder, the $20 BeyStadium deal is still on: we've got at least 10 BeyStadiums remaining, and there are tons of regions that have the potential for tournaments at the moment, don't hesitate to apply for one just because it's limited - maybe you'll deserve one of those stadiums!

Let's all pray to the Blader DJ star, make a wish and have great BeyDays!!
An official new Beyblade generation will launch this July 2015: Beyblade Burst (ベイブレードバースト)!!

Anime trailer (set for spring 2016, work by OLM Animation Studio):

To talk about the Beyblade Burst manga and see all the new characters and story, click here!

Four starter Beyblades will be released in July 2015:
(From left to right) Kerbeus (dark green), Ragnarok (orange), Valkyrie (blue) and Spriggan (red).

The actual product names are:

B-01 DX Starter Valkyrie Wing Accel
B-02 DX Starter Spriggan Spread Fusion
B-03 Starter Ragnaruk Heavy Survive
B-04 Starter Kerbeus Central Defence
B-05 Booster Spriggan Heavy Defence
B-06 Booster Ragnaruk Central Accel
B-07 Booster Kerbeus Wing Fusion

All come with a Light Launcher, again a winder-based launcher.

B-08 Beyblade Start Dash Set
This set comes with a new BeyLauncher, a string launcher, and of course the new stadium, BeyStadium Standard Type (Special Ver.). It will most likely be released separately between B-04 and B-08, or right after, like BB-10.

The Launcher Grips will be released separately:

(Right-hand corner.)

Here are the new box packagings for those Beyblades, and already recolours:
[Image: beybladeburst_starterbox.jpg] (Starter)

Valkyrie and Spriggan will both come with a [b]BeyLogger
, a device much like the BeyPointer that you will connect to your smartphone to have real-time rankings and add your own battling data to the list. They will cost 2200 yen.

[Image: beybladeburst_beyloggerconnectedtosmartphone.jpg]
[Image: beybladeburst_beycrowdsystemranking.jpg]

Ragnarok and Cerbeus will not come with a BeyLogger, so they will only cost 1200 yen.

These new Beyblades have a new "Burst Gimmick": they are meant to explode in battle! The strongest bey stays intact while the other separates! Here's a video of this gimmick in action:

The third generation of Beyblades has a three-layer part system:
  • Layer
  • Disk
  • Driver

These parts can be seen in the following pictures:

Since they explode, these Beyblades require a new sort of BeyStadium with more of a cover on top.

An anime and manga are already geared up for this new series! The manga comic will start on May 15th 2015, in the June edition of CoroCoro!
The new main character is Vart/Vurt and he owns Valkyrie Wing Accel.
Well, this was a tough time, getting through that migration, but we're slowly getting back on our feet! Winter's also progressively leaving us, which opens up a lot more opportunities to come~!

Lower Participant Limit!

With that said, we would first like to formally announce that the participant limit for approved WBO events has been decreased to 7 instead of eight. However, the issues that justified the number eight all this time remain, so lowering it to seven comes with certain differences:
  • Only the Gold Face will be distributed, not the Silver and Bronze Faces;
  • Only the following achievements will get Credits: participation (1), hosting (1), first place (2).

Hopefully this'll at least prevent those unfortunate circumstances where there's just one person missing at a tournament and that the whole thing has to be canceled! Let's also hope this makes it easier for a few areas to start a local Beyblading scene!

By the way, there are still BeyStadiums Attack Type available for 20$, so make sure you know the Organized Play Rulebook and Event Guide by heart, gather 'round your people, and submit an Event Proposal!

Face Contest: Design a WBO T-Shirt results!

Hey no, it's not those dreaded Scavenger Hunt results quite yet, but they're just as expected! That's right, here are finally the names of the winners of the T-Shirt Face Contest!!

To refresh our memories, contestants had to create a design that ideally didn't use copyrighted images, that represented Beyblade and the World Beyblade Organization, and that can be used on a straight-coloured T-shirt. There were really great entries, but only three could be chosen as the winners! And those winners are...

...

...

username2130!

...

Aɴɢʀʏ Fᴀᴄᴇ!

...

And Phantom Indo!

Congrats! You guys can choose one of the following Face Boosters:
Tell us what you want right in this thread!

... What is this, you say? One person's supposed to get their design printed on a T-shirt? Yuppers! That's right, and it'll be...

Aɴɢʀʏ Fᴀᴄᴇ!

Sweet job! Please send us the highest resolution of your design by contacting Kai-V by private message. Make sure to post a photo of it (perhaps with you inside it!) once you receive your rightful T-shirt!

Scavenger Hunt Results

This year's Scavenger Hunt was definitely filled with many events! From complete undesired downtime for 48 hours to complete undesired downtime of Beywiki for weeks, we went from a deadline of January 4th to January 21st - we certainly stretched out the festivities! At least, it really gave a chance to a lot of you to get off your Bottoms, gain some velocity and participate!

Before revealing the winners and their scores, let's see what those frustrating answers were!
  • Find the fact on worldbeyblade.org or Beywiki!: "What will these serve for?" (2 Points)

Of course, it's for a Bey Sky Tree!
  • Find the fact on Beywiki!: "What is the size of the smallest BeyStadium?" (1 Point) 3.7 cm, why not! http://wiki.worldbeyblade.org/index.php?..._Deck_Case
  • Find the fact on worldbeyblade.org!: "What are the holidays in Beyblade?" (1 Point) BeyDays, HMS & Plastics Remembrance Day and the WBO Anniversary! We also accepted Brad Day when mentioned, of course.
  • Find the fact on worldbeyblade.org!: "Which Face vanished!?" (1 point) Only one person got the right answer! It was the Glass Face: http://worldbeyblade.org/Thread-WBO-Face...#pid671279
  • Find the fact on worldbeyblade.org!: What is the most common pair of Track and Bottom and how many times was it released? (2 Points) We accepted answers of 145D with over ten releases, as well as 105F if you had counted 28 of them.
  • Find the fact on Beywiki!: The cut of quick death. (1 Point) A whooping 60° or 30°, depending on how you see it: it was Q, of course! http://wiki.worldbeyblade.org/index.php?...tom:_Quake
  • Find the fact on worldbeyblade.org!: Which Beyblade recently underwent a considerable name change? (2 Points) Pumpking instead of Bumpking! More or less recently and debatably considerable, but only changes to original and not dub names were accepted.
  • Find the fact on worldbeyblade.org!: Which Beyblades are for thuggin'? (1 Point) Aries and Quetzalcoatl! http://worldbeyblade.org/Thread-Pictures...5#pid83865 http://worldbeyblade.org/Thread-Attachme...pid1208924 Subtle inside joke...
  • Find the fact on worldbeyblade.org!: How many people participated in tournaments in May 2011? (2 Points) 587 entries, wow! We accepted all answers above 500.

Aaaah! They weren't super easy this year, but those who got the right answers can be proud to have really earned those points!

And now, the moment you have all been waiting for...

    ...

In conclusion, we'd like to thank you for your patience during all the migration and server stabilizations! It wasn't easy on anyone, for sure, and we hope to perfect this whole situation shortly.

However, what could help us is if everyone did their best to clean up some of their old private messages. We've found out that the sheer amount of private messages our database held represented HALF of everything, which is insane if you think about it. Therefore, if you were still holding on to thousands of private messages, try deleting most of them please! There's a way to download them for achive, but right now might not be the best time for everyone to request huge downloads at once to our server, unfortunately!

By the way, we're still in that shocking winter, but start prepping yourself for... BeyDays 2015!

Beywiki is back!

  • Kai-V
  • Jan. 16, 2015  2:53 AM
After weeks of hard work, sweat and tears, Beywiki is finally back!

We can now get back to the multiple Projects of the Moment we have and, well, simply put, publish everything we know on it!

Scavenger Hunt extension!

  • Kai-V
  • Jan. 03, 2015  4:58 PM
Hi World Bladers!

Due to the circumstances surrounding our recent migration as well as the downtime that followed it, in addition to the fact that Beywiki will only be back online at the beginning of next week, we know we'll make numerous Bladers happy by announcing that the deadline for the ongoing Scavenger Hunt will be extended to January 14th 2015 at 23:59:59 PM EST!

Good luck to the contestants until then! The race is heating up!

Scheduled downtime for migration

  • Kai-V
  • Dec. 18, 2014  3:41 AM
Hey all WBO Bladers!

As we announced in the WBO 6th Anniversary post, there was a downtime coming up due to us having to move to another host, and apparently that downtime is coming very soon!

We just want to tell you about it so that you don't worry about the World Beyblade Organization disappearing for a couple of hours. Once the move is complete, everything will come back to normal, and you won't see a difference at all! We will still be using MyBB as our software, unlike what some of you feared. We're really just copy-pasting the site to another place, but you'll still be able to access it via the same URLs (worldbeyblade.org, beywiki.com, beybladeforums.com, beyblademetalfury.com, etc.) once the downtime is over!

So, be patient, don't worry, and tell us afterwards how you kept yourself busy Beyblade-wise during that time!

(We were told by our new host that the migration might happen as early as tomorrow morning, but it might fall on Friday instead.)
When the daylight isn't here to blow us away, it's time for what?? The WBO Anniversary! It's time to light up our Blader Spirits independently for a sixth year!

After more than 500 tournaments, and not that far from 100,000 Members, we've come such a long way, but we still have so much to do! Hey, you're so mistaken if you think we have explored everything!

We've got exactly what you need to bring some excitement to your life, and it starts right off with the highest crowd-pleaser: a Scavenger Hunt!!

Scavenger Hunt

Like last year, you can only try once per question, unless the question is found out to be too difficult and that we decide to allow more attempts per person. However, that would only be near the end of the Scavenger Hunt period, so be on the lookout! Forget that, you can now try as many times per question goal as you want, but we just ask that you wait for Kai-V's reply on whether the answer is good or not before you send further tries! One answer at a time, basically!

Here are the questions or goals you have to accomplish:
  • Host or participate in at least one approved tournament (4 Points)
  • Get four (new) of your referrals to Like the official WBO Facebook Page (2 Points)
  • Earn four (new) valid referrals and have them sign up on the BeyMap where they live (3 Points)
  • Get a photograph of at least four people playing Beyblade, with a big sign saying "Happy Anniversary WBO! " (3 Points)
  • Share a Beywiki article (requires proof such as a screenshot) (1 Point)
  • Share a BeyChannel video (requires proof such as screenshot) (1 Point)
  • Receive an additional, new Face (2 Points)
  • Be the first to find the "____ Face" hidden around the site each week (2 Points)
  • Find the fact on worldbeyblade.org or Beywiki!: "What will these serve for?" (2 Points)
  • Find the fact on Beywiki!: "What is the size of the smallest BeyStadium?" (1 Point)
  • Find the fact on worldbeyblade.org!: "What are the holidays in Beyblade?" (1 Point)
  • Find the fact on worldbeyblade.org!: "Which Face vanished!?" (1 point)
  • Find the fact on worldbeyblade.org!: What is the most common pair of Track and Bottom and how many times was it released? (2 Points)
  • Find the fact on Beywiki!: The cut of quick death. (1 Point)
  • Find the fact on worldbeyblade.org!: Which Beyblade recently underwent a considerable name change? (2 Points)
  • Find the fact on worldbeyblade.org!: Which Beyblades are for thuggin'? (1 Point)
  • Find the fact on worldbeyblade.org!: How many people participated in tournaments in May 2011? (2 Points)
  • Upload a video to Youtube discussing what you like the most about the World Beyblade Organization. If you've already done that previously, upload a video about where you imagine the World Beyblade Organization in a few years, knowing our history. (2 Points)
  • Post your thoughts and results about Zero-G Stadiums with other formats, whether Plastics, HMS or Limited. For now, please post them in the base of the Beyblade Customizations forum, and support your test results with videos as well, ideally. (2 Point)
  • Upload a video of you trying to explain Beyblade customization to a kid younger than 5 years old. (2 Points) If you can and if you're game, add a segment right after where you try to do the same thing but to an adult. (2 Points)
  • Upload a video to Youtube showing your experience at an Official WBO Organized Play Event and post it on the WBO and share it on social media (requires proof such as a screenshot, minimum length: 2 minutes). (3 Points)
  • Upload a video to Youtube showcasing a complete BeyBattle from an Official WBO Organized Play Event with commentary from you/players regarding the match-up/outcome on the video or in the post. Post it on the WBO and share it on social media (requires proof such as a screenshot). (3 Points)
  • Upload a video showing your Beyblade workout (joke or not)! (2 points)
  • Upload an album of photos from a Official WBO Organized Play Event and post them on the WBO in the appropriate tournament thread. Example. (1 Point)
  • Submit a BeyChannel-ready tournament video to the WBO. Details on how to do so can be found here (Limit: one video per tournament. If you collaborate with another member in editing/shooting footage, we can potentially split the points and award two to each member). (4 Points)
  • Contribute to the Beywiki Project of the Moment: Back to the roots or any of the previous Projects of the Moment! Contributions must be substantial, such as photographs of at least five boxes for the Project of the Moment: Photograph all these boxes and put them away for good! (2 Points)

The more points you get, the higher on the prize-winner list you'll be!

It's simple: all you have to do to get added to the scoreboard is to send your proof of accomplishment or your answer to Kai-V by private message. You have until January 4th 2015 11:59:59 PM EST to achieve as many goals as you can, so nothing sent after that point will be accepted. Since you only have one chance per question, take some time to do your research well before submitting a wrong answer! However, we can guarantee that all of the answers are somewhere on the World Beyblade Organization's assets!

On top of that, similar to last year, we won't necessarily post a scoreboard, and you won't be told if your answer is correct. Since private messages are flowing like tsunami in that period, it'll make the job smoother!

The first hidden Face is... the Brad Face! [Image: bface.png]
Be sure to post its location right here in this topic as soon as you find it, because only the first person will be awarded points!

Official WBO Book

We have chosen this occasion to officially launch a new, fabulous project: creating a WBO book!

In six years, a lot happened, and not everyone was on this ride since the beginning, so it'll be a good opportunity to round up some things, clear some inside jokes, but also develop on the greater parts of the World Beyblade Organization that you wouldn't necessarily find in everyday life!

This project will spread on probably a year, so anyone that has busy schedules during school can still participate whenever free time comes!

We're looking for a gang of authors who will commit to writing even just one section of the book. There will be various subjects, and we are targeting a size of around 50 pages, like a magazine. It's really just a matter of writing well, and sometimes doing a little extra research on a subject that interest you!

Here are the different sections we had come up with:
  • some sort of introductory message from the Committee/a Committee Member;
  • articles about two or three big, active regions (Toronto, New York, etc.) : feared players, anecdotes, inside jokes, etc.
  • AND/OR one general article about tournaments to englobe anecdotes from other regions as well;
  • how to become a Committee Member / and an Advanced Member;
  • lists of things to buy to be competitive, without descriptions;
  • history of the WBO in 3 phases : before Metal Fight Beyblade (and perhaps even a short history of Off the Chain and Beyblade Forums; getting Roan and people like him from back then would be great), Metal Fight Beyblade out in Japan, Metal Fight Beyblade out everywhere;
  • Days created by WBO;
  • Profiles of notable Bladers (their journey, etc.);
  • WBO's "blacklist"/inside jokes (origin of carp);
  • Abandoned ideas;
  • history of top-tier lists;
  • notable Members (e.g. th!nk);
  • Brad;
  • collaborations (Hasbro, Nelvana, what they gave, etc.);
  • Beywiki (how it was what you were led to initially when you came, but also more);
  • anecdotes (e.g. the sets of HMS avatars and signatures the Committee had once);
  • graphics (Kei's section mostly);
  • what happened to past Committee Members.

There's so much we could write about, but the above gives you an idea of the direction we want the book to have. However, all of it is up for discussion, and if you have any suggestions of things to change, subjects to add, people to interview, etc., we will soon open a new thread just to talk about it and collect ideas.

So what do you say? Excited to be part of the team? Excited to read it?

Seriously, have you ever seen a seriously interesting book related to Beyblade before?!

Image Slideshow on Index

We've seen you all wonder why there are sometimes 6x more guests online than Members. Well, so do we!

To help counter this and explain to visitors what the benefits of signing up on the World Beyblade Organization are, we have added a slider of images to show some of the top advantages. You'll only see the slideshow if you log out though. Let's cross our fingers!

No more Standard Rulebook

Times change, and since the Standard format isn't the type of tournament that's hosted the most anymore, we've decided to remove the Standard Rulebook altogether. That means that if you organise a tournament, yes you need to print a few more pages to account for all the formats, but at least there is only one document to refer to!

So, here's a link to the Universal Organized Play Rulebook, which is the only one left:
http://worldbeyblade.org/universalrules.pdf

For the moment, "Standard format" will keep that name, but yeah, you get the idea!

On the subject of rules, we also wanted to let you know that we are planning to make a few changes to the BeyPoint System, notably to accomodate tournaments with a lower limit of participants in dire cases, and also to support and clearly separate different formats. The revised version could take quite a while to come though since it's a lot of work! Events will still be processed meanwhile.

As times are slower than usual in Beyblade, we know you may find yourself wondering what to do anymore. But hey, it's not like everything falls to dust just because Beyblade releases are rarer. The WBO is a living proof that you don't need new products to be active in Beyblade!

Here are a few suggestions of things to do, if needed:

- Start up a tournament scene in your region: There are still a lot of orphan Bladers out there, some who are not on the World Beyblade Organization yet strangely, and, to name just one country, there's more than 75% of the United States that has essentially not been explored yet! Finding those lost Beyblade fans, whether online or physically in your region, can help an area find just enough players to hold a tournament. And wait- a change to the rules about the minimum number of participants is coming up shortly, so the target will be even lower! It's litterally at the tips of your fingers, World Bladers! And you don't have to help only for your own region; sometimes, a gesture will help worldwide!
- Tests that were never done before: Besides the Limited format which has not necessarily been fully tested yet, there are several things to test that people might not realise over time. Mercury? We barely have any idea how it works in comparison to other Metal Wheels on its level, which is what has led to there being no Beywiki article for it. On top of that, it's mentioned in this year's Scavenger Hunt, why not delve into out-of-the-ordinary formats? Zero-G + Plastics, why not? Plus, it's a secret, but we might try adding occasional 'restrictions' to the Limited format...! Prepare for it!
- Beywiki articles: The state of Beywiki is slightly better than before, but there are still so many articles missing, and some of them are not even about individual Beyblades. Think of a concept that needs to be immortalised somewhere for future or easy reference? That's probably exactly what belongs on Beywiki!
- WBO Book: You're more the type to write but not necessarily about the Beyblade spinning tops? You could participate to the WBO book project, or write your own series like some of your fellow Members!
- Imagine what the next Beyblade series will be: Why not put your mind to some juicy speculations about the future Beyblade series, if it's not a continuation of Metal Fight Beyblade? There's a lot to debate and be creative with that. http://worldbeyblade.org/Thread-Speculat...ies-system
- Be nostalgic about the Beyblade anime seasons: Less into the Beyblade toys and more interested in the anime associated with Beyblade? We just opened the Beyblade Spirit encyclopedia to the public and there's a lot to discover but also help out with! The series is full of jewels!

Got any other ideas? There's certainly not nothing to keep ourselves busy, for sure!

Host Change

We recently received the poor news that our host will be closing shop, so we just want to let you know that a move to a new host will be scheduled before the end of 2014, and during that moment the site will be temporarily closed for maintenance. Unless something goes wrong, this should only last a few hours. We will make a new announcement once we know exactly which day and time the change of host will take place, so definitely don't worry about anything!

Tweet away and be sure to share these celebrations on Facebook too! Don't forget to follow and like us as well!:

Beywiki's 7th Anniversary!!

  • Oct. 07, 2014  8:48 PM
Guess what, World Bladers? This website opened 7 years ago today! It's time to celebrate Beywiki!!

Since it's still a work in progress, there aren't big changes as much as encouragements for you all to contribute to the max to this awesome project!

More kid-friendly

Admittedly, Beywiki doesn't visually appeal to kids, especially considering the numerous paragraphs of accurate and in-depth content we have, so to try and remedy this issue to possibly widen our audience, we're introducing the Bad, OK, and Great banners!

Do you see a familiar face around? That's right, Blader DJ's here to help you understand whether a part is good or not!

These banners will be added to each part description like this:

(Leave us some time though, since we've got quite a few Beyblade articles to go through to add all the banners!)

That way, it's visually easy to identify whether a Beyblade is made of worthy parts and how many of them it has. Well, that's on top of the innovative feature we have, the Usefulness Categorization!

A thread will soon be created in the Beywiki Project forum where you'll be able to help and post which articles you have added the banners to just so we can verify that nothing was mislabeled. Stay tuned for the link to this topic, and thanks in advance for your help!

Have you got other ideas to improve Beywiki and make it kid-friendly? You can submit them here, or in the Suggestions for the Wiki thread.

On top of that, I've been doing some much needed updates, such as finally adding articles for accessories on Beywiki. It's not done yet though, so be slightly more patient!

Current Project of the Moment

That's right, it's time for another one of these!

The newest Project of the Moment's goal is to focus on the plastics and HMS articles, since they're lacking some love! It was brought to our attention, notably, that the Random Boosters articles for those generations needed some work, so that'll be on our list, but here are other subjects you can help with if you're knowledgeable about HMS and Plastics or that you own several of them at least:
  • Working on the few articles on plastic Beyblades that currently display inaccurate descriptions;
  • Write articles about Aero Knight MS and Dranzer MF;
  • Write articles for the several plastic Beyblades missing an article!

Discuss your desired contribution to this project and other ideas you think should be done in this area in the official thread for the Project of the Moment:
http://worldbeyblade.org/Thread-Project-...-the-roots

Introducing... WBO Anime and Manga!

Just because we're the most hardcore community for Beyblade metagame analysis doesn't mean that we've got no ties to the anime and manga attached to that game, and I used to own a website called Beyblade Spirit which mostly focused on that, so it's the perfect opportunity to bring that back to the public, since there's quite a lot of exclusive content there already! Give it up for the Beyblade Spirit encyclopedia!

The way it will work is that, since for some reason it got a lot of SPAM bots already, at least for the beginning all edits will have to go through me. We do want to moderate the quality of what gets published anyway, just like for Beywiki, so that's hitting two targets with one stone anyway.

I've already added all the content I had written for Beyblade Spirit back then, so there's a lot you can read and look at already, but to help add content, you can post right there:
http://worldbeyblade.org/Thread-Beyblade...cyclopedia

I think the anime is what makes most of us really nostalgic, and this wiki has a lot of running-down-the-memory-lane to bring you!

Face Contest: Design a WBO T-Shirt!

We're looking for design suggestions for what you think a WBO T-shirt should be (besides our current WBO logo, white T-shirt) and a few of you have offered to work on it in the past, so let's see you run wild with ideas for a shirt that would fully represent the World Beyblade Organization!

All details can be found in the following topic:
http://worldbeyblade.org/Thread-Face-Con...BO-T-Shirt

The contest ends on October 31st 2014 at 11:59:59 PM EST!

BeyChannel: DIR EN BEY Toronto tournament footage added!

A new video has been added to the Beyblade Channel, and it's the footage of the DIR EN BEY tournament that happened in Toronto back in November 2013, so enjoy the show!

Winner of the Passport Holder Giveaway

In almost record time, the winner of the brand new black Rev-Up Launcher that was up for grabs for Passport Holders only is...

...

Sniper! Congrats! You can claim your prize by contacting Kei and you can post your Face Booster selection right here. Enjoy!

We hope that you'll all be able to be a part of the celebrations in one way or another, and remember that Beywiki, and now the Beyblade Spirit encyclopedia too, will always exist thanks to the members of this amazing community!

Hey World Bladers,

The dreaded–for more reasons than one–Rev-Up Launchers are slowly becoming harder and harder to find, so we've decided to give one away this month! If you're a Passport Holder, please post once in this thread to be entered in the September 2014 giveaway for a brand new Rev-Up Launcher (Black)!

Bladers who post in this thread and do not possess a Blader Passport will have their posts immediately deleted.

To make the deal even sweeter, we will also throw in one Face Booster for the winner!
This contest will run for seven days until September 30th, 11:59:59PM EST. Any Passport Holders who post after that date/time will not be entered. The winners will be announced shortly after the date has passed and will have their prize shipped to them free of charge!

Good luck everyone!
Hey World Bladers!

We've heard your pleas over the past few years and are excited to announce today that the WBO will be introducing a new Team Format! How will it work, you ask?

Introducing to WBO Organized Play:
TEAM FORMAT

Teams of 3
In this new experimental format variant, Bladers will begin by registering in teams of three.
  • When registering, teams must provide a team name that will be used to create a Team Account on the WBO.
  • Team Accounts may be used in the future for a potential separate Team Ranking in the BeyPoints System.
  • Team Accounts can only be created by attending a Team Format tournament and registering with your team. They will have a special "Team" user group applied to them to set them apart from regular users. Do not attempt to make Team Accounts outside of tournaments or you will be warned; the "Team" user group can only be applied by Committee Members anyways.

Team Captains
  • Each team must designate one member as the "Captain".
  • Captains have the right to remove members from their team in order to recruit new ones at any time, except during a tournament.
  • Captains can only lead one team, for life. So, think carefully before you decide to form your own team; in many ways you have more freedom as a regular team member. This is important to prevent the possibility of a team of three slowly removing/adding members and then one day ending up with three entirely different members. This way, three new members can't take over a highly ranked team as their own. There is always a link back to the 'soul' of the team if the Captain remains.
  • Should a Captain choose to dissolve a team, their ranking will be nullified entirely and the team will cease to exist. One exception that will be made is if a Captain chooses to retire from Beyblade. In this case, he or she can pass on the leadership to another member, but only if the team has 50+ Team BeyBattle wins at that point in time.

Which WBO Organized Play Formats can be used?
Depending on the amount of teams who register, the tournament will be hosted in either a Round Robin or Double Elimination format.
  • 3-4 Teams: Round Robin
  • 5-9 Teams: Double Elimination
  • 9+ Teams: Single Elimination

And the Team Format can be played using any regular WBO Organized Play Format: Standard, Zero-G, Limited, Plastics, or HMS.

"Team BeyBattles"
The Team Format introduces a new concept known as the "Team BeyBattle".
  • Each "Team BeyBattle" will consist of three regular best 3 out of 5 BeyBattles.
  • The team with the most round wins (which means a maximum of 9 "points" for a team if they won all three BeyBattles 3-0) will be the victor of that particular round. This means that two strong Bladers won't necessarily be able to carry one weak Blader on their team.
  • Each Blader will play one BeyBattle against one of the opposing three team members.

For example:

Team A: Kei, Blader DJ, The Boss
Team B: Kai-V, rooneyt, bugturtles

Kei vs. bugturtles - Kei Wins 3-2
Blader DJ vs. Kai-V - Blader DJ Wins 3-0
The Boss vs. rooneyt - rooneyt Wins 3-1

Final Score: 7-5 Team A

Before each BeyBattle begins, teams will have a brief period to decide who is playing that particular round. When both teams confirm they are ready, the judge will ask for both Bladers to step forward to the Beystadium. If at that point a player from one team does not advance in an effort to see who they will be playing against, an automatic BeyBattle loss will be issued to the offending team.

What happens in the case of a tie?
Here's another example:

Team A: Beholder, Uwik, Khel
Team B: SK, Alice, Bey Brad

Beholder vs. Bey Brad - Beholder Wins 3-2
Uwik vs. Alice - Uwik Wins 3-1
SK vs. Khel - SK Wins 3-0

Final Score: 6-6

In this case, one final BeyBattle will be played to determine the winner. However, the opposing teams will select the member that represents their opponent in the tiebreak. Each team will select a member, the Captains will notify the judge privately, and then the judge will announce the match up.

Team Size: Unlimited!
Teams must play in groups of three during Team Format tournaments, but this doesn't mean that teams are limited to three Bladers!
  • Teams are unlimited in size, but can have only one Captain.
  • Teams can be represented anywhere globally. For example: Team Kai-V can play in an event in the UK against Team Blitz, with members who have been approved by Team Captain Kai-V.
  • Teams, and individual Bladers may only participate in one Team Format event per month. This means that Team Kai-V cannot play in an event in both Montreal and the UK on the same week, for example.
  • If the Team Captain is not present to participate in a given tournament, a "provisional Captain" must be designated for that tournament to represent his/her team.
  • If new team members are representing a pre-existing team in a tournament, they must ask the Team Captain to PM the host to inform them that they have been approved to join their team and represent them.

"But I don't have a team!"
Don't worry! If you plan on attending a Team Format tournament but do not have a team, simply register yourself and we will find team member(s) for you from other players who have registered by themselves, or as groups of two.

Additionally, don't forget that we also have a Team Forum! You can try looking for team members there.

Team Format and the BeyPoint System
All individual BeyBattles played within the Team Format will be processed within the BeyPoint System as any BeyBattle in a normal tournament would be.

Team Format and Faces/Credits
Winning team members of Team Format tournaments will receive the brand new Triple Crown Face [Image: TripleCrown-Face.png]! All three team members who participated in a specific Team Format tournament will receive the Face.

Winning team members will also receive +2 Credits for winning the tournament, in addition to participation and majority win Credits.

Pilot Event
For now, Team Format is currently still in the experimental stage. As a result, particular details may change before it is officially introduced for use by hosts around the world. However, as a way of testing the format we have decided to use BEY OR DIE, our upcoming event at Unplugged Expo as the pilot event for the format!:

For getting the 2nd place in a tournament: +2
For getting the 3rd place in a tournament: +1
For winning the majority of your matches: +1
Organising a tournament: +1
Participating in a tournament: +1

That means that if, for example, you hosted a tournament and ended up coming first on top, then you'd get a total of 6 Credits!

But wait, we also have a surprise for some of you! Since the temporary wave 3.5 of the Blader Rewards ended rather soon at the beginning of July, which caused a void for the whole rest of the month until July 31st, and that it would have been more or less fair to be able to process some July tournaments before the cutoff date and others only afterwards that would have counted towards wave 4, we decided to award Credits earned during July only now!

Enjoy these new prizes, especially the few plastic Beyblades in there!

On top of that, we're also ready to unveil the long-awaited, long list of winners in several past BeyLottos!!

As always, post your choice of Face Booster in this thread, and we'll shoot the Faces your way once we've gotten a few at once!

A new video has been added to BeyChannel : the tournament video for A YEAR: The Month of Dreading that happened in September 2013 in Toronto!

We just wanted to also repeat that all buyers and sellers should be extremely wary of who they are dealing with on the World Beyblade Organization. If a seller claims to have a Beyblade and does not provide photographs with their username on a piece of paper in it, don't send them any money!

Recently, user STICK-G has been discovered to be a frauder, especially with his account Swag007. He has affected at least two Members here, who were fortunately able to win their causes on Paypal against him, but if even we banned him, just be cautious no matter who it is!

In conclusion, we hope you enjoyed these news, and be on the lookout for further positive announcements in the near future!
Is the hangover from BeyDays finished? Are you finally done with school and ready for some action?! Oh yeah, you got it right, it’s time to go back to the source of the joy : HMS & Plastic Remembrance Day!!

The dates to look out for this year areJuly 19th & 20th. Let’s blaze the world with the celebrations!

Tournaments of the HMS or Plastic format!

On this beautiful weekend, the most dedicated areas will be taking some time to remember the genesis of Beyblade in the world! Here's the current list of tournaments part of HMS & Plastic Remembrance Day:

July 18th 2014 (exceptionally)
July 19th 2014
July 20th 2014
Yeah, not many confirmed tournaments so far, but we’re almost a month away, so hold on and prepare your horses!

As can be done even during the rest of the year if there are no other prizes, the top three winners in these tournaments can choose one of the following exclusive Face Boosters:

If you’re part of the top 3 in one of the above events, tell the WBO Organizer what your choice of Face Booster among the list is so that the Committee can open it for you!

Additionally, these three Face Boosters are now available for all plastics and HMS tournaments throughout the year, even if there are prizes!!

Woah, wait! You can still win anyway at the WBO regardless of how well you do in tournaments! All entrants of an HMS or Plastic tournament held on the Remembrance Day will also receive 1 extra Credit just for playing in the event! In other words, you'll get 2 Credits just for participating, and that means you could get a free Face Booster or even better prizes in our Blader Rewards Campaign!

Exclusive BeyLotto

Plastics and HMS are awesome on their own and are enough reason to enter a tournament (or 2!) during these celebrations in July, but extra incentive certainly never hurt anyone! The WBO brings you the traditional exclusive, limited BeyLotto! The only requirement in order to be entered for a chance to win a prize is to play in a tournament on HMS & Plastic Remembrance Day! Phew, no weird ritual to do to be accepted; school’s over, remember?

The prizes this year will certainly make you drool!

1st Place: Cyber Dranzer (courtesy of Cannon), Dragoon F, Driger S, Wolborg 2, Seaborg, Draciel F, Draciel S!!

2nd Place: Salamalyon, Auto Change Balancer, Dragoon F, Cyber Dragoon, Gaia Dragoon, Driger F, Master Draciel!

3rd Place: Dranzer F, Dragoon F, Salamalyon, Master Driger, Seaborg 2, Gaia Dragoon!

4th Place: Draciel F, Seaborg 2, Driger F, Master Dranzer, Dragoon F!

5th Place: Seaborg 2, Trypio, Dranzer F, Wyborg, Galman!

On top of that, the 1st to 10th place winners will have their choice of

11th to 30th Place will have their choice of

Also, because some tournament organizers may not be able to secure prizes for their tournaments in time, the top two prizes from the BeyLotto will be limited to the Bladers who finish in the top three of their local tournament.

But what’s that? Yeah, too small for a normal WBO announcement? You’re right, let the other goodies roll on!

Blader Rewards

In light of the news that the uberawesome Wyvern DJ Gold Ver. has been claimed in the current Blader Rewards campaign but that at least two or three of you were putting a lot of effort into accumulating enough Credits to catch that prize before anybody else, it’s definitely time for some new prizes to be instated!

However, since we usually ensure that Members do not have so many Credits as to claim all the good prizes right at the beginning of the new wave, but that, at the same time, right now we don’t want to forget the original contenders for the Wyvern DJ Gold Ver., this wave will actually be smaller and really short so you guys can spend your Credits properly before we have to reduce them to 7 by the end of July 31st 2014. Here’s the list!

Blader Rewards - Wave 3.5
  • BB-96 Beyblade Super Deck Set - 50 Credits (1 in stock)
  • Dark Knight Dragooon LW160BSF Limited Golden Dragon Model - 40 Credits (1 in stock)
  • VariAres D:D Mars Red Ver. - 35 Credits (1 in stock)
  • Sol Blaze Gold Ver. - 28 Credits (1 in stock)
  • Bakushin Susanow 90WF - 28 Credits (1 in stock)
  • BBG-15 Metal Stone Face Ocean Blue Ver. - 15 Credits (1 in stock)
  • Launcher Grip (Black) - 15 Credits (1 in stock)
  • BB-81 Launcher Rubber - 12 Credits (2 in stock)

As usual, just contact a Committee Member, mainly Kei, if you’ve got enough Credits and want to claim one of the prizes before it’s too late!

Stay tuned for the next big wave, the 4th!!

New Avatars
Superb, we're unleashing five new avatars to use in your profile to celebrate HMS & Plastic Remembrance Day not only now, but during the whole year too!

GRAND BATTLE TOURNAMENT 2 ENCORE : Plastics
Hey guys, the official video of GRAND BATTLE TOURNAMENT 2 ENCORE : Plastics that happened on May 26th is now up! Check it out :

Organized Play Rule New Releases

(We already posted these in an announcement topic, but just for more visibility!)

Finally, some official new releases for those old Organized Play documents! We’re proud to announce the publishing of the Universal Rulebook Release 6 and the Event Guide Release 3, which should all make your lives easier!

Universal Rules Release 6
Event Guide Release 3

All WBO Organizers should make sure to print these new versions, and every Member needs to read both of these documents from the beginning to the end again to refresh their memories and make sure they’re aware of the major new rules, like the following :

  • Limited Format: It’s all known already, but all the details about the Limited Format are now included black on white in the Universal Rulebook.
  • Stalling Clause: The time for the Stalling Clause has been brought down from 4 to 3 minutes.
  • Attachment Tricks : It’s now illegal to try playing on words about whether your Beyblade is attached/ready/inserted/etc. No fake attachment is allowed either, and while i twas obvious, nobody can lie to a judge like by saying that they’re ready when they’re not.
  • Re-Shoot Clause: When invoking this clause, if you choose to switch your launcher, it must now be the exact same launcher type. You cannot switch from a Light Launcher 2 to a Rev Up Launcher anymore!
  • Winning Combinations : It was already announced last year, but posting the list of the top three winners’ winning customizations for a tournament in a timely fashion is now officially mandatory. The only exception, as always, is if a big event is coming up like a championship and that a qualifier winner will be traveling to the final tournament in that championship. However, even in that case, their previous winning combination will simply have to be posted right after the championship. If a host cannot do it for some reason, the lists can simply be sent to a Committtee Member who will then post them in the Winning Combinations topic.
  • Seaborg Tip Inverting : Legalized a year ago too, the possibility of inverting the rubber tip of Seaborg’s Defense Grip Base is officially in the books now!
  • Judge Impartiality : You’d think this was obvious, but some complaints and questionable behaviors have made us clearly write in the Organized Play Rules that, of course, no judge should even look as if they observed what a Blader was using and then go talk to the opponent who happens to be their friend or even their rival. You can’t give off that impression at all, so if that means you have to restrain yourself and remain seated at the stadium in silence until both Bladers are ready, then so be it!
  • Clear Numbers : The Event Guide is now a lot clearer! There are clear numbers for each format, as well as refined explanations where applicable. We’ve also added Swiss as an official format, but make sure you only use it if you fully understand its workings!

That’s about it, but just in case we forgot any detail, as we mentioned, make sure to download and read the new versions right now!

New Promotions!

The World Beyblade Organization is proud to welcome Naijalak on its Committee!

On top of that, we’d also like to announce that the following Members are now Advanced Members : Time, Stars, TheBlackDragon, geetster99, ლ(ಠ益ಠლ), Wombat, and Cake!

Congratulations everybody, you’ve definitely made your qualities shine through!

And now…

BeyDays 2014: 6th Edition!

  • Kai-V
  • May. 20, 2014  1:36 AM
Dear World Bladers,

Get up from your desktop, open your house door and embrace life: it's the time for celebrations!

On May 24th and May 25th, Bladers around the world stump their feet so remarkably that the dust has no time to settle: it's the sixth year of BEYDAYS!!

In the spirit of BeyDays, as you saw, we organised the second WBO North American Championship: GRAND BATTLE TOURNAMENT 2! Winners of qualifiers around North America will come together to battle and determine the best player of the continent!
However, the focus of BeyDays isn't just one tournament: it's all the events happening around the world at once, in just one weekend! Here's the list of dedicated communities this year:

May 24th
May 25th

That's quite a list, but we know we can do better than that, it's not too late! Where's Italy, and perhaps the United Kingdom ?

To help everyone out, we've got several cool features for you this year:
  • Regions who have never hosted a WBO tournament in the past will be able to hold a free event for BeyDays 2014 without the $5 entry fee!
  • We will also waive the entry fee for regions that have not hosted an approved tournament in the last five months!
  • If you can't quite get the eight required confirmed participants yet, we'll send invites to the Members who signed up on the BeyMap in your area to urge them to attend and have fun on BeyDays, before the Event Proposal is even approved!
  • We're increasing the limit of Credits that can be gained during one weekend from the regular 8 to 16! Battle all night if you must!

BeyDays, with all those exceptions, is the best opportunity to start up an active Beyblade scene in your region for the rest of the year!

So, do you want to host a BeyDays 2014 tournament in your area?
Click here for details! (Click to View)

Each participant of a BeyDays tournament will receive the brand new Face of Days V, simply for showing up and playing at an event! The design will be revealed... later!

Now, let the drums roll for...

... the BeyLotto!

This year again, every participant of a BeyDays tournament will be automatically entered in this BeyLotto. The more tournaments you enter, the more chances you have in the lottery which will be done completely at random.

Every winner will be able to choose one of the following Face Boosters for grabs in the BeyDays BeyLotto; don't miss this chance to decorate your profile with a nifty Face!

There'll be a total of... 35 winners! Places are limited this time, so do all you can to help your luck!

In addition to those Face Boosters, BeyDays calls for actual physical prizes, oh yes! And we're bringing back... ~ANYTHING YOU WANT~!! You want a new Girago to improve one of your combos? Boom! Your collection of recolours is missing a blue Orojya Revizer? Yatta! Your wish is our command!

For this special prize of CHOICE though, all we ask is that:
- The winners give a list of three wanted Beyblade products;
- The list should be in order of desire;
- The products should be reasonable- there's only been one recorded Diablo Nemesis Dragren Ver., yo!

What's that? Winners? Absolutely! There'll be four winners of ~ANYTHING YOU WANT~!! Here's the complete list of prizes for the BeyDays BeyLotto:

  • 1st to 4th Place - Your choice!

  • 5th & 6th Place - BBG-24 or BBG-25 Ultimate Synchrom DX Set!

  • Lucky 7th Place - BB-10 BeyStadium Attack Type!

  • 8th to 10th Place - BB-96 Beyblade Super Deck Set!

At least, that's what the list is so far...!

Purchasing or currently having a Blader Passport will ensure you a very special place in the results if you are picked! For example, the first three winners will be Passport Holders, as a way to thank you for your support towards the World Beyblade Organization!
Blader Passports can be purchased at the cost of $10 US either online via our Passport page, or at any official WBO tournament.

Submit tournament footage, gain extra BeyLotto entries!
On top of that, this year once again, if you film scenes at the BeyDays tournament you attend and put the footage together for the BeyChannel, you'll get an extra entry in the BeyLotto! Show us what your community's like and how intense the battles were!

If you have footage please send follow the guidelines outlined here and send it to Kei. If you do not have enough footage to put together for a 2-4 minute video as is described in that thread, send the raw footage to Kei through a file sharing website instead.

But wait- post a BeyDays tournament report, and also gain extra BeyLotto entries!

That's right: it could be on this topic, or in the thread dedicated specifically to the tournament you attended, but if you post a report of the event you played in, you'll automatically get an additional BeyLotto entry! It can be about the customizations you noticed were being used, what the ambiance was like, what you would improve or simply what you liked!

Spread the word out and support the WBO and BeyDays on Twitter and on Facebook!

#BEYBLADE #BEYDAYS

People may think Beyblade is "dead" right now, but that is what BeyDays was always about: not only does this site exist no matter the period, but we celebrate Beyblade in as many locations around the world as possible in any situation, all at once!

What're we doing?

A new topic will be opened as of today, called "What I did today for the WBO".

What's that for, you ask? While the level of activity isn't as overwhelming as it used to be during the peak of popularity Beyblade had one or two years ago, we find that it'd be important to keep track of each and every contribution to the World Beyblade Organization being made around the site. We all unconsciously contribute just by posting everyday, but concretely, was there something you did that made Beyblade and/or the World Beyblade Organization advance? Whether it's posted or in preparations, making sure all that help gets promoted in one single thread on the site will help everyone keep track of what each other person is doing to help. Sometimes, it's all work in the shadows that can't be posted for the moment, and perhaps a certain person is making annoying posts in your opinion, but hey, they have ten posts in the last few days in the "What I did today for the WBO" topic - maybe they're not that bad after all!

In that thread, you can SPAM it all you want with your contributions: it's probably the one place on this site where quantity means so much!

Visit the topic itself below for more details:
http://worldbeyblade.org/Thread-What-I-d...or-the-WBO

Limited Format, in Zero-G?!

That's right: the default was to make Limited Format in standard stadiums, but what would happen with a similar ban list in Zero-G Stadiums? Oooh~

On this special occasion, we'd like to launch a wave of testing for this combination of formats, in the hopes of observing whether a completely different ban list would be needed, or if Limited Format could actually be done in Zero-G Stadiums and Standard-Format Stadiums!

Maybe even Chrome Up Modes can be useful in this new environment?!

Get your cardboard, your swaying stadium, and see whether the current ban list seems fair or needs some touchups in these other dynamics! Post your test results in the following thread dedicated to this potential format!
http://worldbeyblade.org/Thread-MFB-Limi...Discussion

Face Contest: Photography 4!

Hey, these are becoming tradition every BeyDays!

The photography Face Contests always create a special buzz, so we're bringing the 4th edition to the table!

As usual, all you have to do is grab your camera and capture a magical or beautiful moment which involves at least one Beyblade. It can be from any generation, and it doesn't have to be the highest quality ever like for Beywiki photos, as long as something truly special is being illustrated!

For more details, check out the topic where you can post your entries:
http://worldbeyblade.org/Thread-BeyDays-...tography-4

The deadline for this Face Contest is June 14th 2014. Good luck everyone!

The $20 BeyStadium deal is still on: we've got 12 BeyStadiums remaining, and we really want to revive Europe, so if you're interested, don't hesitate to apply for one just because it's limited - maybe you'll deserve one of those stadiums!

Quote:WBO Limited Offer: $20 BeyStadiums Attack Type!!

The WBO brings you yet another awesome exclusivity! It might be too late for BeyDays, but it's certainly never too late to start up some Beyblade activity in your region.

You think you'd be able to gather enough participants already? You know the rules by heart? Everyone's set on a date and a venue, but all that's missing is a legal stadium? This is exactly what you waiting for!

The World Beyblade Organization has acquired a limited set of BeyStadiums Attack Type and will give them away for the really low price of $20 to potential tournament hosts in new parts of the world that are usually quiet when it comes to Beyblading! These stadiums, the fairest ever made for the Metal Fight Beyblade series, can also complementarily be used for testing!

There are just a few conditions that need to be fulfilled to be eligible for this deal:
  • The Member has to demonstrate clear, on-site efforts to concretise an event in their area, notably with eight or almost eight Bladers basically ready to play at any moment.
  • The region targetted by the Event Proposal has to be new to Beyblade tournaments or, depending on the demand, has to own too few legal stadiums for an event to reasonably run smoothly and quickly.
  • Of course, the cost for the stadium is $20, shipping included.

As it's been implied, we will deal with requests for those stadiums over in the Event Proposals sub-forum.

This deal is completely limited, due to production of Attack Type BeyStadiums having been stopped in Japan for some time now, so it's definitely your one and only chance! Grab this opportunity now while you can, and finally give your community what it's been thirsting for all this time!

We wish you an awesome BeyDays, no matter where you are! If there's one time to express your passion, it's on May 24th and May 25th. If we all come together, the future looks so bright, because we're building it!

The upgrade of our software is done!

  • Kai-V
  • Apr. 30, 2014  1:54 AM
Dear World Bladers,

We just wanted to notify you that we will most likely experience a short downtime of around an hour, perhaps two, on Thursday May 1st 2014 at 6 PM GMT/1PM ET, to allow for much needed software updates as well as plugin fixes.

Hopefully this will at least help us get rid of the SPAM bots!

Hey World Bladers,

Even in Limited Format Canc-I mean, Quetzalcoatl might not be as great as we once thought it was, but it's still super cool! Especially the silver version, which is what we will be giving away this month! If you're a Passport Holder, please post once in this thread to be entered in the April 2014 giveaway for a brand new Quetzalcoatl 90WF (Silver Version)!

Bladers who post in this thread and do not possess a Blader Passport will have their posts immediately deleted.

To make the deal even sweeter, we will also throw in one Face Booster for the winner!
This contest will run for eight days until April 30th, 11:59:59PM EST. Any Passport Holders who post after that date/time will not be entered. The winners will be announced shortly after the date has passed and will have their prize shipped to them free of charge!

Good luck everyone!
Limited Format Ban List v1.1 Effective Now

Newly Unbanned
  • WHEEL: Jade

As was initially intended with the Limited Format, the ban list is dynamic, so this is by no means final. We will continue to monitor the status of the format and further updates will be made when it becomes obvious that certain parts are deserving of being banned/unbanned. This is something that is going to continually evolve as a result of community involvement; it can therefore only happen if you all continue to embrace the format as you have thus far. So, keep hosting Limited Format tournaments!

To discuss this update, possible future updates, and to see the discussion that led to the decisions that were made for this update, please use these three threads:

World Bladers!

Last year, we started a revolution … now it’s time for the Grand Battle to not begin ... but continue! Nearly a decade ago, WBO & Off The Chain Founder Bey Brad hosted a tournament titled “GRAND BATTLE TOURNAMENT” at ANIME NORTH 2005, and in honour of that we decided that it would be appropriate to name the tournament this year, GRAND BATTLE TOURNAMENT ...2! Why is it a "grand battle", you ask? Well, it's because the tournament will be our second North American Championship as a part of ANIME NORTH 2014 and BEYDAYS 2014!!

On Saturday, May 24th, 2014 during our annual global celebration of Beyblade, BEYDAYS, the best Bladers in North America will gather in Toronto, Ontario, Canada at ANIME NORTH 2014 in order to compete for the prestigious title of WBO North American Champion 2014!!!

So, do you think you have what it takes? GRAND BATTLE TOURNAMENT 2 will be open to the public, but if you don't live near Toronto, you can earn paid travel expenses to Toronto by winning a tournament in the WBO North American Championship Qualifier Series!

This list is likely not final, so please stay tuned for updates about more qualifiers in the coming days/weeks!

All tournaments will be played in the new Limited Format.

If you are not familiar with Limited Format, please take the time to read through this thread:
MFB: Limited :: Primer, Random Thoughts, and Q&A Thread!

And for the up to date ban list for Limited Format, please check this thread:
Limited Ban List Discussion

What do Qualifiers win?
Winners of these tournaments will receive the following:
  • Paid travel expenses, by plane or bus (whichever is cheapest), or car to ANIME NORTH 2014 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada for GRAND BATTLE TOURNAMENT 2.
  • An ANIME NORTH 2014 Pass

Qualifiers will be responsible for finding/paying for accommodations in Toronto, but we will work closely with each of you to make sure that you find somewhere suitable. Additionally, the winner will be required to consult with the Committee before booking their flight/bus, and then after approval, provide a booking confirmation to the WBO Committee before they can provide reimbursement for the traveling costs. We can also reimburse gas costs, but in that case, reimbursement will only take place in person after we have received gas receipts.

Tournaments All Weekend!
In honour of the original GRAND BATTLE TOURNAMENT in 2005 where competitors used HMS Beyblades, we have decided that in addition to GRAND BATTLE TOURNAMENT 2: WBO North American Championship 2014 on Saturday, May 24th at ANIME NORTH 2014, it would be fitting to–for the first time ever at AN–also host not one, not two … not three … but four other tournaments on Friday, May 23rd and Sunday, May 25th! This will bring us to a total of five tournaments for the entire weekend, spanning all five WBO Organized Play Formats including not only HMS and Plastics, but also the Standard and Zero-G Formats! Here is the full schedule:

Click on the names above for the official threads for each tournament and let us know which ones you plan on attending!

Why should I participate in all of these tournaments?
Besides how much fun it's going to be to play in every existing WBO Organized Play Format over one weekend ... as an added incentive to encourage everyone to participate in as many of these tournaments as possible, there will be added benefits to participating in any (or all!) of the tournaments at AN!:
  • Increased Credit Limit to 16 (regularly only 8 Credits per week is permitted)
  • Each tournament grants you an extra entry into the BEYDAYS 2014 BeyLotto (prizes to be announced at a later date)
  • If you participate in at least one tournament on each day (Friday, May 23rd, Saturday, May 24th, and Sunday, May 25th) you will be eligible to receive a two Face Boosters of your choice (same selection as is listed in the section below)!

Mandatory $5 Entry Fee = More Qualifiers + Extra Credits + Free Face Booster!
To help subsidize the high cost of flying/busing the qualifiers to Toronto, a mandatory $5 entry fee will be imposed on all Qualifier Series tournaments, regardless of whether or not a participant has a Blader Passport (if you wish to purchase a Blader Passport, the total cost would be $15 at a Qualifier Series tournament), and there will be no prize reimbursement apart from the travel expenses for the winner. We hope that everyone can understand this! The more funds we have, the bigger this championship will be! However, to show our appreciation for your cooperation and support in helping to fund the championship, all participants in Qualifier Series tournaments will receive the following:

All Passport Holders who participate in a WBO North American Championship Qualifier Series tournament will gain an entry into this exclusive BeyLotto! What can you win, you ask? Well, here's the prize breakdown:

1st Place: WBO T-Shirt + WBO 4GB USB Key + Beyblade 4D Poster + BB-96 Beyblade Super Deck Set

2nd Place: WBO 4GB USB Key + Beyblade 4D Poster + BB-96 Beyblade Super Deck Set

3rd Place:: WBO 4GB USB Key + Beyblade 4D Poster

The WBO 4GB USB Keys and Beyblade 4D Posters are being donated by our very own WBO Authorized Dealer, dimsum2u! You can see what items he has for sale here.

Blader Rewards Update
Wondering where you can spend all of those extra Credits you'll be earning by participating in the Qualifiers and all five tournaments on the AN weekend? In addition to what is still available on the list right now, we have just added the following new items to the list:
  • BB-96 Beyblade Super Deck Set - 40 Credits (3 in stock)
  • Sol Blaze Gold Ver. - 22 Credits (2 in stock)
  • Bakushin Susanow 90WF - 22 Credits (3 in stock)
  • BB-58 Beylauncher Suspension - 9 Credits (2 in stock)
  • BBG-15 Metal Stone Face Ocean Blue - 9 Credits (4 in stock)

And ... the new Stone Face Boosters are also available!

Donations
For anybody who wishes to support us beyond participating in any of the qualifier tournaments, you are also welcome to make a donation!
As always, for every $10 donated, you'll receive a gift from us in the form of Face Booster WHITE, Face Booster WHITE II, or Face Booster BLACK II; it's your choice.

However, for those of you who are even more awesome and choose to donate more (before May 12th, 2014), we have some very special gifts available!:

Royal Face
1. For a limited time, donators of at least $30 will have the option of choosing the retired Royal Face instead. It has not been openly available for nearly five years!

Signed WBO T-Shirt
2. Donators of at least $60 will receive a WBO T-Shirt signed by all Committee Members–both current and former–who attend GRAND BATTLE TOURNAMENT 2, including WBO Founder, Bey Brad!

Signed BB-10
3. Donators of at least $100 will receive a BB-10 BeyStadium Attack Type signed by all Committee Members–both current and former–who attend GRAND BATTLE TOURNAMENT 2, including WBO Founder, Bey Brad!

All donations and entry fees will be used to help fund GRAND BATTLE TOURNAMENT 2, including, but not limited to, things such as: plane/bus tickets for qualifiers, prizes, trophies, and promotional materials (posters, flyers, etc).

If you're a Passport Holder, please post once in this thread to be entered in the February 2014 giveaway for a brand new BB-96 Super Deck Set!
