Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST

Not to mention the two miles we ran back.
But I actually think that that lady was breaking the law. If I remember, no one can be denied water and/or quartering in a public place.
I would've called the coach over there, but whatever, man that dance teacher was mean.

That sucks
The lady is just being rudeUncertain whenever any of my teammates pass up water when our coach is handing it out she yells at them!XD
@Ultramarine sleep on the floor for a while, and that should help your back.

For my pre-homework snack, I'm having a salad bowl of honey bunches of oats and a fake strawberry pop tart, and since we have no clean spoons, I'm resorting to chopsticks. has anyone else tried to eat spoon/finger food with chopsticks?
I'll try that, thanks.

All the time. I went through this phase as a little kid where I had to eat everything from pizza to ice cream, with these easy chopsticks I got at Kid Snips XD
My grades are pretty bad so far. I have two F's but only because the teacher didn't grade my project yet, which is the only assignment we had, so not a big deal, and same with my other F. I have a D+ in Tech Ed, but I really just suck at that class, but I'll get it up since we still have like three weeks before the progress report. And the rest are A's and B's. I'm going for A's and B's this year, which shouldn't be too hard. This year is pretty easy so far, even though we get a lot more homework than last year. The only problem I have with my teachers is my math teacher, she's not bad, but she is really bad at explaining things, especially when you need help on a problem or something.
Welp, I've got 30 minutes of home room right now and we're being told to do "whatever we want." Homeworks done so I'll be on here. Hi!
Anyway, has anyone heard about the Chicago shooting? So many mass killings lately, it's horrible.
My grades are awesome as of now! Straight As!
88 for ICT.

This is why I hate peer assessment sometimes. I am a very independent or quiet worker, more of backstage guy if you will, especially when I'm busy. I scored way below average on the peer assessment part on a project cause the didn't 'see' me work. I literally wrote the final speeches for our debate, and continuously enforced arguments during it. That, and we had two days of sport events so I didn't get any time to actually work or prepare. Geez.

For anything else. I scored a 90+ on my test (summative), so it's not that. This is why I generally hate group projects.

Do they give you quizzes on landmasses and such? Then it's just a matter of rote memorization.

We'll no.... But we gave end of term tests which qre 2 year's above nqtional averqge test. And there hard!
Pretty sure I flunked Science... hate my teacher.
Getting my progress report in 3 days.
Got my mid-quarter grades a few days ago. Pretty pleased with the results, even without my weighted classes factored in. The main issue is pre-calc, but then again, math has never been a strong suite of mine... hopefully it'll improve by the end of the quarter :p

It's funny, because in computer science, I got 86% on my own, but I love to work in groups, and that bumped my grade up to 98%. Hopefully, I'll be in a high enough set next year so that I can get off javascript and get on with HTML and C++
Ok so it's(it was) 5:45 A.M in Texas, I'm getting ready for my meet today! I'm so pumped because I'm running three miles!Grin I take my phone off from the charger and I had gotten a text from one of my teammates saying the meet was cancelled due to weather conditions! I was so sad!😭😭 yet my mom was happy!Unhappy
Oh no! I had a similar thing for a bronze challenge where we had to climb this hill that's 500m. And it was cancelled so I couldn't get my bronze achievement thing.

That stinks. I have a meet today too, and my back still hurts, haha. It's supposed to be freezing over by me though, so I'll see how that works out.

How on earth do you get your grade bumped up to 98 from 86 because of group work?
Even if you got 100% on your group project, that's (100+86)/2 which is equal to 93% not 98%.

HTML is fun, but I don't get enough time to actually do it. C++, never tried it, so no comment. Same with javascript.
There is teacher recommendation as well. And I can't be bothered to do the math.

Some teachers are biased, the grades could be weighted, there are several ways his grade could have dropped to that.
I think we need to start a school thread cause that`s the most popular thing to talk about in random thoughts currently...
Well yeah, because its the time of year for school ...
Yeah... it's really the only reason school is so popular right now. Smile

Anyways... I had swimming in PE yesterday, and it was our relay speed test. It was a hundred metres, and our team got a total of 68 seconds. It had four people by the way. My 25 metres timing in that was 19.2 seconds, which was unfortunately a second slower than my averag time. Overall, I got 7-... wanted 7. The expected was 5+ but I am a strong swimmer, which is why I'm upset that I didn't get 7. It only goes up to 7+ in our year by the way.
now that I think about it it would probally remain dorment all summer then revived whenever school started...
Does anyone know that's with my voice? I know it's changing in all, but...

I seem to effortlessly belt my voice. I can sing loud [without it sounding like I'm screaming] and I don't need a lot of effort to.

I've been to told to sing with my "head voice" but when I do it sounds... nasally. I've been told that I may be a tenor, or that I can sing Falsetto, but I don't know. Tenors are more for classical music while when I sing I have a more "Modern" type of style.

I really hope someone can help em out on understanding what is going on with my voice. In chorus, I told the teacher, and she said I should focus on matching pitch and worry less about quality. We have lessons, and she told me that I should try to attend them all.

Oh, how I hate my voice xD
