Obviously, but that's a user's choice to spell poorly and not use their head. If we had spell check, they would just ignore it.

It's very hard to just "ignore" it, or even read it. I see a lot of people that go off the hook when someone posts "dats kewlll i lve poson it bst weel eva" (Maybe that was a bit exaggerated, but oh well). At least a small spell check...

All good browsers either include or can easily access a spelling checker. There is literally no excuse for them to not have one already, and no need for us to include one.
I think that if the Your Creations section becomess more popular, we could expand it. Like, Drawings and Computer Graphics, and Literature. Just a thought. Tongue_out
It's been discussed. The committee want to limit the number of subforums, but I still think spinning off literature into it's own subforum would be good (then we just need to move the sig shop threads somewhere).
Oh, I see. I just thought that by separating the two, it would be easier to navigate the forums in case you wanted to find something. Tongue_out
Don't get me wrong, I totally agree, that forum is clogged up with stories and sig shops, but yeah, that's what's been said on the topic :\

Alright, I understand. Another thought just cMe into my mind, to unclog it. What if we were to just have one official Graphics Shop thread where there's a list of Workers with an example one of their works, so that the section isn't that clogged. For example:
Person A
Example
Clients:
1

Person B
Example
Clients:
A

And so on..
Yeah, it's been mentioned, there's a lot of mod-work involved in any realistic solution, though.

I was trying to be nice, but yes, most of them are terrible. There's a reason I've made like one post replying to any of them, and that was to ridicule something.

Yes, I agree, there have been a lot of people that have been working hard helping the WBO... *cough**cough* th!nk, Deikailo, RustyXD, Ray Unicorno., etc.*cough**cough*

Also an edit button for PMs... (If we don't already have one, which I don't see in my sent PM's).
Once it's sent you can't really do anything... They'll see the one that you messed up anyway... So it's quite useless... Also Mybb isn't THAT powerful (Don't think so a least)

We ARE a professional sanctioning body. If you don't like that, there are plenty of other places you can go to discuss beyblades. We have fun while maintaining standards, and maintain those standards so everyone can have fun, fair tournaments/battles.
I just don't get it... AM I missing out something?... Seriously...

I already told you, and it was nothing impolite in intention : when you grow up some more, you will understand.
How about create a new face for "Member of the Month", which is done... monthly. That should give some incentive to improve the posts.
No actually that's a good idea... but I am not sure if the staff would be able to constantly make new faces. Banning and warning members and locking threads and moving them is enough for a job.
It will just be one face for the member of the month. Not new faces for each time.
I think there are already few people with the Peridot, or Lapis Lazuli Face. If people really wanted to improve their posts, they would have done so by now with those Faces in mind, in my opinion.
All the rewards for good posting are rather hard to achieve. They do not strike new users as "achievable".

If you're going to use a carrot and stick approach, don't use too long a stick.

I actually love Uwik's idea, personally.
>Took a gander at the Your Creations forum.
>Find that it's cluttered with "Sig Shops" and "Battles"

A few years ago, "Sig Shops" and "Battles" really didn't exist (probably due to the WBO having less members back then). But time flies, and things change.

However I do think that forum can be a bit more organized (subforums) into "Graphics Requests/Sig Shops", "Graphics Battles", "Literature/Writing", and "Graphics Showcase".

Most of those categories are self-explanatory; "Showcase" is mainly to show-off your Photoshop/GIMP works, or the Showcase category can be the posting area below the list of subforums instead of being a subforum in itself.

The Showcase, in whatever form it takes (as a subforum, underneath the list of subforums), is essentially what the Your Creations forum was before; where one would post a topic, show off his/her works, potentially get criticism/comments. No requests, just a gallery of the topic starter's graphics. Example: Old topics, so look back a few years.

While I myself am not a completely organized person and have a tolerance for clutter, seeing the enormous wall of titles and text that have the phrase "Sig Shop" makes me wish it were organized like or similar to the things stated above for easier navigation.
I fully agree with this, as, I believe, do a great many members, as it's been mentioned repeatedly.
I think it was being considered, but yeah, I dunno what goes on.

I cannot even make out what is a month on this forum though. Sometimes it seems like a year. Two or three days, a week.

We are thinking about it.

I have no idea why we could not just have, like before, only one topic for requests ...

Improved posts are just the general side-effect, I was thinking for a number of reasons, such as:

1. Most improved posts
2. The funniest member that makes you smile every time you read his/her posts
3. Most polite member
4. A member that helps bring his/her beyblade community to WBO
5. A member that attends the most tournaments during that month
6. A member that donates the most in that month
7. An all around nice guy that likes to help out with tests.
8. A member that writes the most excellent beywiki article
9 a member that shares knowledge
10. A member that comes up with the best combo for that month
Etc etc etc

There are probably many more reasons to earn the "member of the month face". It really isn't that much extra work for the committee and the mods to implement, yet it can boost the spirit of the members significantly.

Just a thought.
-V: No offence, it kinda sounds like you need a rest, in the best possible way I can put that Smile

A single topic would be ideal. I recall discussing methods of organising it, because there really is nothing involved that could not be conducted by PM.
