I strongly believe the cost of the Blader Passport needs to be upped to either $15 or $20 many people with passports attend upwards of 5 tournaments a year and this is currently a significant loss of revenue for the WBO and tournament hosts.
Well if the price was raised, less people would probably buy it.
What basis do you have for this? Seriously the large majority will be kids and I doubt they'll pay that much. The low price encourage people to buy it.
We also have a lot of money ...
Oh, I don't even remember who i heard from from, but someone told me the WBO was fairly cash thin
Well, "cash thin" compared to the big projects we could have, but for our average activities, we are completely fine.
I think that it would be nice to have skins/themes with different banners .
So we could have a Dranzer one , Dragoon , Dragooon , Ifraid , etc .
And you could even have a project of the moment , or competition for it 'who can design the best banner' or something , so that the committee don't have to do all of the work .
I think it's been mentioned before, but the upkeep for multiple themes is much greater than for a single theme (even if it's only the main stylesheet). Also, it's another database query, for every user; that means, with 80,000+ members, that's another table row, and for every user, another query to see what the user's selected theme is. It's an unnecessary strain on the server, imo.
Lately, I've seen many non-beyblade-hobby questions in the Q/A #2 thread. My suggestion is to put something in the title like "Beyblade Hobby Only" or something like that. It might make some people think twice about posting their non-hobby questions in the thread and saving some time.
They should read the OP where the rules are stated, though.
It gets boring playing with the beyblade toys by yoursel. The beyblade website has you time the ripcord pull to determine the beys power and the special moves are the same for all the beyblades on the website. These things I don't like. What I want is a beyblade with a chip in it that keeps track of the beyblades rotations as experience. Each rotation counts as a experience point. As a beyblade gains levels it starts taking on a personality. For example a attack type beyblade would gain speed for its attacks as well as bounce around the stadium at more random angles. Noe a stamina type beyblade would gain balance as its level grew and move around the stadium less. when it gained enough levels the beyblade would stay at the center of the stadium. Now as its level increased even further the speed of its rotation would increase even further. Next is the bey spirit. Allow the chip inside the beyblade that was keep track of the rotations to transferr the information to a video game or computer. This information would replace having to time the pull of the ripcord to determine your beyblades amount of energy. As you win battles in the computer or beyblade game, your beyblades spirit level would increase. After your beyblade gained enough spirit levels it would allow you to use special moves in the game. As your spirit level increases you will learn new stronger special moves. Say 3 special moves per beyblade. As your spirit level increases so does the strength of the special move or the frequency you can use it. This would be great, but maybe your can take it even further. Maybe let the beyblade spirit you have gained be transferred back into your beyblade allowing you to use its special move in real life. The higher the beyblade spirit the more often the real toy can use its special move. After a while a new beyblade story line will begin. Instead of starting from the beginign again, allow them to gain a special move in return for staying with beyblade. Make a special move for a attack type and another for stamina, defense and balance types. These special would be used only on the computer or playing the video game. The strength of this special move would be greater than the 1st technique that the new beyblades could learn. Now I had woundered about a beyblade that could use a magnetic field in real life battles. Make the magnetic field push outward away from the beyblade. Eventually the magnetic field would push the opposing beyblade agianst the wall of the stadium. This would be a stamina type beyblade. Now make another beyblade with a magnetic field to draw your opponent towards you. Make this beyblade move around wildly like a attack type beyblade causing the opposing beyblade to be pulled in different directions. Make a sagitario whose claws would stay out instead of folding inward when they meet resistance. Maybe even make a beyblade that could blow cold air downward from the top of the beyblade or one that blows hot air upward from the bottom of the beyblade.
Um, the WBO doesn't make Beyblades and doesn't run beybladebattles.com.
you can add how to customize a bey and how to launch your bey better and many more stuff
We already do all that stuff.
Where? What are you talking about?
If it is about the BeyChannel of the WBO, then we have most of the useful stuff put up already.
The Sliding Shoot video (which conforms to your request for a "how to launch better") has been quite useful for Attack type users. Other information is available on BeyWiki...
As for how to customize, that is quite funny. Customizing is all about swapping parts, and it doesn't need a tutorial. TT already provides an instruction sheet that speaks about customization.
If you mean to say- "How to make better combos?" or something similar to that, then reading through the various threads on this Forum will provide you with all that information.
If not that, then you can visit the Build Me a Combo #2 thread for direct assistance.

EDIT- Beaten. Refer to Ultra's answer. Much better.
I doubt there is an option for this within mybb, but if there is an option to follow a thread and be notified when something new is posted would be greatly appreciated
When you make a new post using the "post reply" button, rather than quick reply, there are subscription options at the bottom of the page right above the Attachment box.

That is precisely what you are looking for.
There's also the option to do just that right below the quick reply box, though in both cases you may need to alter your subscription settings in the User CP to get it to notify you via email on each new reply.

I know this is an old suggestion, but I guess my answer is still valid lol

Why should people who regularly attend tournaments have to pay $15/$20? You really can't ask a sort of thing, seeing that there are more people who attend tournaments/buy passports for other reasons and are quite active.
Yes, I am aware of the email subscription option, but I meant something more along the lines of whenever you log in, it tells you what threads you are following have new posts

I think it does that if you go into your User Control Panel and check your subscriptions.
I had read about the BeyPoints Thread, and noticed a severe point- "A person who plays in the Double Elimination format is at more risk than the person who can easily get through in a Round Robin format with a few losses", so shouldn't be the amounts of credits given to the person who won in Double Elimination Format be more?
This is what I think.
Also, can't normal face boosters be given instead of physical prizes for placing in tournaments, unless it's a first time tournament in that place.
I have already thought about this, but generally, it globally gets equalised so that we cannot just give more Credits every single time, notably sometimes because of the luck of the pairings.

No, Face Boosters are not meant for that; those obtainable in the Blader Rewards Campaign serve this purpose however. And of course, the three for plastics and HMS tournaments also can be used for that and only that.
Oh, Okay.
I just made this suggestion after comparing with They Beypoints System.
I didn't meant to run my mouth
I was thinking that the WBO would get a lot more donations if there was rewards depending on how much you donate, like faces, credits, a recognition list or something like that. and also I was thinking that you guys should sell WBO merchandise like shirts, hats, maybe buttons, wrist band, etc. I think a lot of people here would be interested, and at the same time could serve as promotion to spread the word about the WBO
