The idea is to create a thread in that forum to TRY to get a second chance. If someon has done something bad enough to get banned, there's a 30/80 chance he'll be unbanned right?
I agree with Neo,it couldn't hurt.Let's try it!

Can you answer my question to why that's better than PMing/Email moderators? I mean the committee already has their hands full And we all know some banned people will go to the forum and spam/ say very rude and inappropriate things.

The chance of them getting unbanned depends on what they did.

I did already.
Because we should let anyone actually interested in Beyblade post, regardless. The "Underground Forums" I presume.
If you're good and you don't post mindless carp, you'll actually have a better chance of being unbanned.
The answer is that in the forum, all the admins see it rather than the one you sent it to.
All the active admins will vote and then the majority would decide the outcome!

Read my posts replying to that. They got banned for a reason, even if they are interested in beyblade they might have threatened to do physical harm to members, posted inappropriate pictures, tried to hack the site because they were mad, etc. I don't think those things should just be dismissed .

I want him to answer btw.

There's a thing called group PMs. Check it out.
I'm going to keep my calm,no matter what you say.
It's your turn to answer my question:
Is this harming anyone?

I'm not really trying to get you mad, but I'm just going to say OK....

Its a waste of time. The commitee is already super busy. If you read my posts, you will see too that it's true (RHYME!!!). I already explained this too you .

If it's a serious offense, of course they wouldn't be allowed. That's common knowledge.
Just minimal things, like swearing. Maybe a censor in the forums where if you put a swear, you post becomes "I shouldn't swear."

if you can't do the time, don't do the crime. If your getting reprimanded multiple times by moderators, they should have enough sense to know to stop or they'll get banned.

there already is a filter. It puts "carp". I doubt someone would get banned for swearing unless they're purposely evading the filter multiple times to get on people's nerves. Again, this is a children's website and swearing is often frowned upon, no matter what your opinion on it is.

This is defenitely the main problem. And, banned spam bots can continue to post even if they are banned...
Look at it this way:
Would you like to sit at your desk all day reading PM's?
OR
Would you like a thread wher people can appeal and you can wait a few hours while you do what you need?
Threads go no where,if you read a pm and wait to later to reply, you'd have to look that PM up again.I cal that time wasting...
When we ban members, depending on the severity of their offense, they also get their IP banned. Unless they use dynamic IPs, they won't be able to log in anyway to utilize the suggested forum. If we don't IP ban, then technically, the spambots can still post their advertisements in that 'hidden banned forum', which defeats the purpose.

Plus we have members already who PM us about revoking their warning status, and emails from banned members. The current system is working fine already, there's no need for an extra dedicated forum for that. We appreciate your suggestion though.

Or you could leave a tab open with the PM or bookmark the PM. Anyways, please don't try to continue the argument. I only posted to inform you.

Thanks for the input Uwik!
To make sure the person learns his lesson, they have to wait a month before they can appeal!
BTWThey can only appeal once every year!

What's stopping them from appealing more than once?
Sorry,posted before I could see those two!Ignore!

Y'know how if you get a warning, you can't post for a certian amount of time?Same thing here.
Most of you seem to post about the Warnings?Ok,only banned people can appeal!
And I just thought of something! What if we,the members voted instead of the admins? All they would have to do is move based off our decision!
Hah,I understand you Uwik.
But I also have a plan for that!
Just to let you guys know,I respect your opinions.

Oh wait!Sorry for the triple post but Uwik, banned members dont always get their IP's banned?

having normal members vote? No way. If the banned member gained friends they'd just say yes, not looking for the well -being of the site, the person could get people to sign up irl to vote and people who don't know what they're doing could vote.

There is still no reason how that is better than the system we have now, as Uwik said .

Only if you have a significant warning level.

That's an even worse idea than admins...
The site your talking about wouldn't happen to be Pokemon Online, because that's a forum if you want to get unbanned from the Game Server, not the forum. Server banning is different since you have no contact with the person once you're banned, but with forum banning you don't get banned completely from the forum. You can still email members.
No,I got this idea from the Pokemon Nuzlocke forum.
Yeah,only Admins should vote.
The system is fine as it is at the moment. Banned members can come back and if it's only a temporary ban most of the time there really is no point in the ban at all. Might as well just warn them.
My suggestion...I think in the future if possible we should be able to make group chats like Facebook or etc.

We have Group PMs. Check them out.
There are or at least were some unofficial chat rooms for the WBO on here somewhere.
Perhaps if we changed the name of the ask a question, get an answer thread. A lot of the posts on there are more question that belong in questions about the WBO.
Perhaps ask a Beyblade question, get a Beyblade answer?
