You do get faces for donating...
Considering the logo for the site includes a pegasis wheel which is copyrighted I don't think we could sell anything but giving it to those who donate a certain amount would be a good idea (they're doing that for the big US championship which is probably where you got the idea).
I'm new here so of course you can all take my suggestions with a grain of salt. However I think a Shoutbox would be pretty neat. I did a search to see if this had been brought up before and this thread and a few others came up. However, I haven't been able to find much apart from a statement that there were no plans to implement one. I like Shoutbox's as a way to personally connect with members in a live format (as opposed to finding a reason to reach out via pm). I feel they have often times helped to make my communities tighter knit.
I don't want to be the new guy throwing out changes, I just wanted to pick the brain of a decision-maker type and see why WBO has no plans to implement a Shoutbox, there's some nifty ones for MyBB. Thanks!
Oh, we call those chatboxes here, and it has been asked many times hah. Do not worry about suggesting it again though.
The problem is that it would invite SPAM a lot, and we would have to moderate that as well since it would be part of our board and that kids have to be 'protected' from swearing, free insults, etc.
I see. I do know that if you have swearing filters set on your board they should integrate seamlessly with your Shouttbox (oops Chatbox), some even have a separate filter. Most also come with the ability to revoke a users right to use the Chatbox, and a "time that must pass before making new post" feature that will prevent spamming. I usually set my time filters to 15-30 seconds and just find a big ol' ban list of swear filters somewhere with Google. As far as actively modding a Chatbox, very little is needed in beyond the normal forum moderation, and they often times can be placed atop or below your forum, so most will know if an infraction has occurred.
However, if this is not open for discussion, I completely understand.
Don't know if this has been suggested before, but what if we could see which of our posts had been reported. I have a few posts that were reported and I always wanted to know which ones were reported!

Oh, are you talking about the number you see in your profile ? That is the amount of posts you have reported, not the posts of yours that people have reported.

You will usually find out if your post was reported - and considered bad enough to reprimand - if it gets erased or you receive a mod notice/warning for it. Outside of that, no.
Using a
Content Delivery Network in a populated web space is essential, I don't know if the WBO already use it, but if not, I reccomend it to you
I think now we need to minimize the faces for every member now. it actually becoming like big quote like.

putting in a number for Gold faces for each of Gold faces you have which includes to Silver and Bronze face too.
eg. 10 Gold faces you would put 10 in the face.
However members can still check there faces by viewing there profile.
Well, what we could put every member's face collection in a spoiler-kind of a thing. I agree with Stars on this.
Seeing how many faces Kei, Arupaeo, Kai-V have, it would be good to see them sorted out.
I also agree with Stars, it gets annoying at times when you have to scroll for a while before you get to the next post. Putting a spoiler for people with more than like 20? faces would be good.
kind of a question/suggestion Has there ever been any consideration of creating Plastic and HMS sub-forums (like Zero-G)? It would largely increase discussion of both, rather than just basically confining them to one thread a piece.
There has and it was decided against since there simply isn't enough interest to warrant it. That why the plastic and HMS threads were created.
Would be nice if also the sections' moderators can have the colorful nick as the rest of the staff

I think the WBO site should have a backround
It does have a background. It's a grey design.
It is a metal plate grey background, because Metal Fight Beyblade is cool.
We should make a WBO commercial, but we would need a lot of money for that. What about a long what to do on the WBO video. It could show members what to do.
Advertising the WBO is always a cool idea, but it has been running well for the past few years without having to do any of it.
So not really important to spend too much money on it.
But of course, if you have a YouTube channel, you could always make something about the WBO. A few members have done it in the past, I believe. Serves as a form of advertisement, haha.
To promote WBO we should get a facebook batch of WBO . Whoever is on facebook and also on WBO should get the batches on their profile pictures .
How would that promote the WBO?
Plus there are people who can't/don't want to get a Facebook, so they wouldn't be able to get the face.
