I took out the dojo since it's only useful at 3-2, 1 is kinda dead imo. While shrink is ok, it's not needed as there are better alternatives and beside you have plenty of defenses already. Mind control I say you have too little tuners for it to be useful, but then again if you want to reuse the cunnings or exceed with it then it's ok. Cunning i'm guessing the same as above and you want to reuse a LSS shien if it's in the grave right? Well it's still a -1 sometimes and a dead card in hand if you draw it early game and if you have no sams on the field but if you want.....
Well if you end up taking it out, take out the mind control as well. Btw upstarts aren't as good as they were at the beginning of the format since the main point of it was just to get gateway faster. But most ppl found that they were still getting it kinda slow, so they ended up abandoning the idea of giving 1000lp for a card that they'll rarely draw.

If you want help for the side deck then just ask, but i'll leave the extra deck for you to decide, but for exceeds since they're new I'll give some tips on which to add.
Basically the only ones you need to play are 1x #39 utopia (plenty of lv 4s), 1x levial dragon, 1x #17 leviathan dragon, (my favourite combo with these rank 3s are kageki+yaichi, break, then special), 1x Roach (but since this card is about $100 atm i'm guessing you won't be playing it)

I've taken the advice of many to go back to my Koa'ki Meiru deck... I am now 10-1 (ten wins, one loss) with the new build, in the new format. Utopia helps keep them alive and also gives me a sweet monster, and a Dark Gaia with a potential ATK of over 9000 (literally, though it is rare, as he usually is at 4900) is nothing to laugh at. Thank u, Dark Gaia & Utopia!

I'm playing T.G. Plants (my variant anyway), and it's pretty good. I'll give a Deck list later, but I wanted to ask the community this: when Lonefire gets hit to 1, do you think the Plant engine will still be viable? I was thinking of running a Junk Doppel variant of T.G. but with Cyber Magicians as well.

I haven't seen any problems wih it yet. Sure it's not as good as it was last format since it and pot of avarice are limited, but it still has it's uses if you draw it early game. Also since pot is limited, I play with quickdraw this format since it can recycle monsters (chaos sorc, BLS, etc), and my deck tends to mill alot. Any opinions on using Tytanial this format?

momotarou, lonefire blossom at 1 is still decent, u can get out glow-up bulb, or dandylion

Since the dark world structer deck is coming out real soon before chirstmas, I decided to make a deck out of it. Some reasons why is that very annoying Grapha. I hate that thing...unless it's on my side. Also it's cheap and easy to make.
