OK, would you mind posting your current side deck? Also, has there been any Extra Deck changes?
Sure.

Side deck:

2 Cyber Dragon
2 Thunder King Rai-Oh
2 Nobleman of Crossout
1 Mind Control
2 Bottomless Trap Hole
2 Trap Hole
2 Chain Disappearance
2 Gozen Match (I'm just testing this right now, not sure how good or bad it will be)

Extra:

2 Armed Wing
1 Armor Master
1 Silverwind
1 Magical Android
1 Catastor
1 Brionac
1 Goyo
1 Black Rose Dragon
1 Ancient Fairy Dragon
1 Stardust Dragon
1 Dark End Dragon
1 Colossal Fighter
1 Scrap Dragon
1 Chimeratech Fortress Dragon
Thanks Roan, I've noticed Mind Control hasn't gotten very much play recently so I was glad to see that.
Well I used to main deck it, but I moved it to my side because I dropped Blizzard down to 2, thus decreasing the overall usefulness of Mind Control in the main deck. Not to mention it's only ever useful against decks who set a lot of monsters, which really only happens in Plant Synchro.

There are only 4 good targets for the card (Reborn, Dark Hole, Whirlwind or Dark Armed), so more often than not it ends up being dead.

Wait, WHAT? Getting any card you want out of your deck is a dead draw? I fail to see the logic here.

I've already said the logic -- I only have 4 good targets for Gold Sarc.

Imagine you're in the late game with very few cards in your hand/on the field and you top deck into a Gold Sarc -- Oh, great, I can remove from play a card that I probably don't really want or need and proceed to get pounded on for two turns until that card comes to my hand. If you open up first turn with a Gold Sarc then yeah, it's great. But the longer the game draws out, the less usefulness the card has. Keep in mind, I'm playing Blackwings, which are a control deck now and tend to drag out long games.

Using Gold Sarc on monsters is worthless. It telegraphs your plays (AND YOUR HAND) to your opponent. If you Sarc a monster, besides Dark Armed, the opponent instantly knows that you either have no monsters in your hand or very few monsters and will play accordingly.

The long and short of it is that Gold Sarc just isn't good right now. This is a bad format for it.

Yeah, they set Spy and occasionally a Recruiter, neither of which I'm too concerned with Mind Controlling. I'd much rather Nobleman of Crossout either one of them.
So I could use some feedback on this deck. It's not so much the deck itself I need help with, it's more the Side Deck. Regionals come to Philly in 3 months so I want to get ready early.

I see nothing wrong. But since you have so many spells, may I suggest Spell Striker? It is very annoying to stop.
Uh that wouldn't exactly help my build at all. If anything it would hinder my plans. Spell Striker wouldn't help me get my CBs in my back row to activate Abundance and OTK my opponent.
Ah. Forgot about that. Sorry. I just saw how many spell you had, and suggested it.
I'm new At yu-gi-oh But I used to play it A while Ago Like A Few years. I Have no Idea if this is A good Deck but it Is an Attempt I Just got these today in the Starter pack. Can someone Help me Out.

Synchros:

X-Saber Wayne

Fusion Monsters:
X-Saber Galahad
Quickdraw Synchron
Junk Synchron x2
Rapid Warrior
Tune Warrior

Spells:

Card Destruction
Banner of Courage
The warrior returning Alive
Enemy Controller
Hammer Shot

Secret Barrel
: Apparently Crystal Beasts play well with Sacred Beast cards; I don't know which one you should play, or how they work, but perhaps it may be a viable option.

: You need to separate your Synchro Monsters from your non Synchro/Fusion Monsters.
Yeah that's why I have Hamon in my Side Deck, in case for some reason my OTK Strategy doesn't work I can just swap out a few cards for my extra Rainbow Dragon and Hamon for a Beatdown strategy.
With a little little money sprinkled here and there, some changes from Roan's DD Edition on Blackwings, and a lot of help from Roan himself, I was able to make this Blackwing Deck:

I think I may have gone a bit overkill on the monsters ... Confused Any suggestions/Changes I should make?
It is a bit overkill with monsters. Here are basic suggestions: +1Dark Hole, +1 Monster Reborn, +at least 1 Mystical Space Typhoon, and in my opinion, you should use Forgotten Temple of the Deep, Hydro Blaster (I think that's what it's called), and Magic Cylinder. Oh, and maybe a Polymerization, to make D3S Frog.

Honestly, I'm not a fan of running three Siroccos, and I really don't like running Bribe in Blackwings.

Take out the Des Frogs, the Beelze Frogs and the T.A.D.P.O.L.E.s.
Take out the Water Hazards and the Des Croakings.
Max out Aegis and Froggy Forcefield.
Add in Monster Reborn, Dark Hole, Terraforming, Gravity Bind (eh), MST, Cold Wave/Trap Stun.

You should find room to put in Swap Frog (you run Treeborn and Ronintoadin, no reason not to run Swap).

Additional monster that would benefit you in this deck:
Star Boy, Penguin Soldier, Cryomancer of the Ice Barrier, Dewdark of the Ice Barrier.

The monster lineup is solid. The number of Sirocco, Blizzard and Bora you play is more or less a matter of player preference. I only play 2 Sirocco because it can be a dead draw, and I've even considered dropping it down to 1 copy as is now pretty common in OCG decks.

I understand why you're playing 3 Dark Bribe, but that definitely needs to be changed as soon as you can get the cards you're missing. Blackwings are an advantage based deck, and giving your opponent a free +1 is never a good situation to be putting yourself in. Teching one in the deck is usually OK, and for a while I played Dark Bribe over Solemn Judgment because of the dumb meta which usually started with a Cold Wave into Herp Derp combo. I'd much rather let my opponent draw a card to stop them OTKing me than pay half of my Life Points to stop a Cold Wave.

However, things have changed now and Cold Wave isn't as big of a deal as it used to be, so Bribe isn't really as useful anymore either.
so, im thinking of starting a Genex deck. Does anyone have any tips for going about it?
Roan, should I Main the two Dust Tornado for now? Giving the opponent a +1 has bugged me for a bit, but having Spell Speed 3 cards gives me some peace of mind. I'm also thinking of removing the Blizzard and Vayu from my Side and moving two My Body as a Shield in there.
Yeah, that should be fine. I don't think Dust Tornado is going to be all that useful for you, but I suppose it's the next best thing. Dark Bribe at one isn't going to hurt anything, really, but you might want to consider dropping it for a third Dimensional Prison.
Hm, I think I can get a single D. Prison tomorrow afternoon; thank you for the fix! For now though, should I drop one Bribe and replace it with another Starlight Road?

Also, what is your take on the card, "Time Machine"? I have no intention of using it in my BW Deck, but do you find anything competitively useful about it?
I wouldn't be main decking Starlight Road at all honestly.

It's incredibly situational. If you play it at all, it should only be in your side deck, and even then it's a questionable inclusion.
