Generally Plants do very well at synchro summoning for all levels, and it's one of the decks that doesn't have too much trouble going into Formula.
To build on Pocky's post, many of your synchro monsters are level 8, and Infernity cards can do pretty well with that.
Eh I guess but Plants (to me at least) are a little overused, I don't really like using popular Decks because they just seem so impersonal to me. I guess what I would want to ask is, should I eliminate all non-Synchro, Tribute monsters and convert my Deck to an all Synchro deck (I have a feeling the answer is yes, but I just want to make sure)? To Odin, I am currently working on an Infernity deck that I dropped a while back.
Is anybody willing to give me a limited winged dragon of RA
Useless post. That has nothing to do with your deck.
Anyway, my Beast Rising deck was a success! By the 10th turn, I had over 20,000 life points, since I had both of my Ancient Crimson Apes, plus a lot of Tribute Summons because of Card Breaker and Spell Striker.

@ Joe. Doubt it. You may need some non-synchro cavalry, if someone activates a card that hinders you Synchros.
Hey, I resent those comments saying Plant decks are over-used. You'll see Quickdraw Plants and any number of variations on it, but never a Plant deck. Anyone who isn't running pure Plants and says they're running a Plant deck is a jerk.

/plant user rant
I keep a nice synchro deck with a quickdraw synchron for summoning stardust dragon, and then tributing later to summon malefic stardust dragon, or do synchros for junk warrior, junk destroyer, and road warrior.
My friend wants me to make him a TCG Ice Barrier deck with no PoDs. I told him it was gonna be terribad, but he said he didn't mind.

It's so terrible.

I feel as though there should be a better way to approach this, but I can't think of it right now.

Any helpful input guys? (I'm looking at you, Roan, hahaha.)
I don't know ANYTHING about Ice Barriers, but check this article out, it'll probably help:

Perhaps put in cards like Wetlands, Umiiruka, A Legendary Ocean, and Umi to power them up. Also include Sea Dragon Lord Gishlinodon; Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier; Pilgrim of the Ice Barrier; Dewloren, Tiger King of the Ice Barrier; Dewdark of the Ice Barrier; Caravan of the Ice Barrier; and Gungnir, Dragon of the Ice Barrier. You have a lot of copies of cards so maybe bring them down one.
lol, Dewdark's effect is not good outside of dedicated builds, Pilgrim is pointless, as I have enough 4 stars to synch with and there are tons of commonly played cards that are under 1900 ATK and strong enough to kill it. And I don't see the point in running Caravan at all.

And lol at the suggestion to bring down the consistancy of a deck that already has terrible consistancy.

Thanks for the link Roan. I haven't checked TCGPlayer in so long, I honestly forgot it existed, hahah.
Lol I was just naming Ice Barrier monsters since I do not run them. However Wetlands, Umiiruka, Umi, and A Legendary Ocean would still benefit that deck greatly. Maybe Gravity Bind since then if you have Wetlands and Dewdark on the field you can get constant 2400 directs.
Umi and Umiiruka are jank. A Legendary Ocean and Wetlands have their places, but should not be run together.
While Dewdark + Gravity Bind is potent, it's unviable, simply because it would be wildly inconsistant in an Ice Barrier deck. A dedicated Frog/Barrier direct attack deck, maybe.
I see......ok good luck with that Ice Barrier deck.

i honestly don't know what's so bad about it? but thats probably because im not a really good player :o
So I recently lost access to Pot of Duality (They were my team mate's and he decided to sell them)... In light of that, I've drastically changed my Blackwings into a more control build (read: more traps lol) and I was curious what everyone thought.

Monsters: (18)

1 Dark Armed Dragon
1 Spirit Reaper
1 Morphing Jar
2 Sirocco
3 Shura
3 Bora
3 Kalut
2 Blizzard
1 Gale
1 Vayu

Magic: (9)

3 Book of Moon
2 MST
1 Allure of Darkness
1 Black Whirlwind
1 Dark Hole
1 Monster Reborn

Traps: (13)

3 Icarus Attack
2 Solemn Warning
2 Dimensional Prison
1 Solemn Judgment
1 Seven Tools of the Bandit
1 Royal Oppression
1 Trap Dustshoot
1 Mirror Force
1 Torrential Tribute
What synchros do you use? Also, I noticed by looking at your traps, that you have several of them that cost life points. What do you do to counteract that? Might I suggest Solemn Wishes, because that's what I use. That is just my personal opinion, of course.
Honestly, I don't like Dustshoot. I know why it's there, I know how it's good. I just don't like it.
lol that's fine.

I get that a lot when people see that I play it, but it's honestly never been dead for me. I wouldn't play it any deck besides Blackwings, solely because of the fear factor the deck instills in people. As soon as a Blackwing hits the field they're instantly hesitant to set any cards for fear of losing them to Icarus, which only fuels Dustshoot.

It also lets me destroy them with Spirit Reaper. I can't count the number of times I've T-Set with Spirit Reaper and Dustshoot, bluffing the Vayu/Icarus play, only to destroy the person's hand on the next turn.
So, the PoD's were pretty much temporary, Roan? That's a shame, but the Deck still looks great. My Spells are identical to yours thanks to your DD on BW's, and my Monsters are based on your DD edition BW's as well (thank you~!!).

Yeah, I knew I wasn't going to have them forever. Oh well, they served me well while I had them. haha

You're welcome. Smile
So basically you put in D.Prisons for PoDs. It's OK I guess, but personally I'd run Gold Sarcs. It's actually really effective if you can predict the flow of the game 2 turns in the future, which is pretty easy for me most of the time. Of course it does backfire (especially when I open with 2 Sarcs).
I've tried Gold Sarc before; it's not worth it.

There are only 4 good targets for the card (Reborn, Dark Hole, Whirlwind or Dark Armed), so more often than not it ends up being dead.
Roan, did you make an error? You're lacking 2 Bottomless Trap Holes...... Is it outclassed now?
Nope, no error.

Bottomless isn't as good as it used to be. It's practically worthless against both Plant Synchro and X-Sabers, which are the two decks I see the most at my local tournaments. I moved them to my side deck for the matches where I'd be more likely to need them. (Anti-Meta, Blackwing mirror match, Gravekeepers, etc.)
