I was saying my opinions of what I think of her I'm not bragging or gloating at all.
Well, my (girl)friend's dog died last night, and she was appropriately sad, so I tried to comfort her (Which is NOT one of my best skills.). I tried my best, and I guess it worked, because she hugged me at the end. Umm, I'm a bit lost here, so any advice?

My friend likes a girl, but he really can't take a hint that she likes him aswell. I've been trying to help him. So I managed to get him to give her a hug, but thats really it.
Hm, after reading all this, and what is wrong with Bey-Heart dating the girls he likes. Anyway, where I live has a lot of cute girls, but, meh, not really interested in them at the moment. I'm holding off until I'm 15, probably, and might then start asking girls out, but not for the moment. Anyway, most of the people that post here make it look like having a girlfriend is an absolute must, which I think is wrong, and in most of these "relationships", the people involved have absolutely nothing in common with each other, and dating a girl just because she is good looking is really, really stupid and immature, and the people involved in this "relationship" are most likely 10, 11 or 12, which is far too young. But, most people are either (a) under pressure from their peers and give in and date someone with who they have nothing in common with, or (b) Date someone just to be cool, which is wrong, or © Copying people that are dating different people every week and it gives them an impression that dating someone new every week is cool, or it has to be done to make them "popular", when really it makes them look immature and stupid. And its wrong that most people think that dating someone new every week is actually normal, which it is begging to come, but still, a 10/11 year old should be dating just to be popular and break up the following day, it is just immature and very, very stupid and anybody that thinks that, should get brought back in the real world, not the world where what they want, or need, happens at the snap of two fingers, and people should stop thinking like this and get back into the real world, where reality hits them hard, and life is not as easy as they make it seem.

- I almost completely agree with you. I can guarantee you that at least 95% of people dating at my school are only doing it to seem cool, or because someone's "hawt", while the few who are dating because they truly like a person get a bad reputation because of it. It makes me really pissed...
Well, completely and stupidly ignoring everything you all were so right in telling me, I didn't call off the date. My problem is that I'm too forgiving, and it leaves me wide open.
However, karma struck back and she forgot to ask her mom if she could stay after, so it was rescheduled (We didn't go). I also made this text message:
By the way, I really only want to be friends for now...I don't like the idea of cheating and Grant (Other dude) is a friend I don't want to lose (Well, I kinda exaggerated here. We are sorta nice to each other, but not quite friends yet). I still love you, but I don't want to be cheated on, it's not fair to either of us. Sorry, Izzy <3.

Patterns repeat and cheaters cheat.
You cannot expect her to grow up overnight. You can, however, expect that she will cheat again if the mood strikes her, within the next few years. Maturing at that stage is sluggish and extremely unstable.
Especially if she's seeing nothing wrong with what she did.
...also, I'd suggest actually speaking to her in person, because I get the feeling she didn't fully understand.

Sparta, I'm going to be very blunt, but for someone who constantly parades around the Your Creations forum as an "intelligent member", you use about as much logic in your relationships as a noob writing a Beyblade story in chatspeak. Seriously, what is wrong with you? You're what, 13? And you're exposing yourself to drama and taking it like a pansy? Relationships obviously mean nothing to you if you have such low self respect as to go through with casual dating. There's no such thing as a "ture" relationship, especially if one of the people in said relationship can't even spell "true". And on the topic of age, there is little to no point in dating when you're not in High School, especially when you're not even in your teens yet.

You realize there are actually laws that dictate what you can and cannot do at certain ages, right? Then let's go into voting, drinking, driving, etc. It is completely fair because you all have absolutely no idea what a "ture relationship" is. It's self evident by the accounts you all post and with the frequency in which you post them. You are all bragging about girls as if they are prizes to be won. While I am not so different most of the time, I have a completely different goal and I am very upfront about that one.
For Christ's sake, even ask your parents. They will tell you you are too young.

To elaborate on this, there is little point in dating in high school, either. Most kids are still idiots. Rarely will you find someone meaningful.
I understand what you've said and understand that no-one knows exactly what a true relationship is, and I won't post about that, but I just don't think the right way to start an argument is about age. Now, is dating an actual right, or just something you think should be a right? Because, last time I checked, dating usually doesn't affect your life, the lives of others around you, or the country itself. And also, my mom encourages me to date.

It seems like my post on the prev. page went unnoticed by most people who posted after me. Anyway, a "ture" relationship doesn't exist at 12/13/14, and I'm starting to think that this thread was a big mistake and the many people posting in this have got no clue as to what they are posting about.
