Host: The Supreme One

LocationThis event will be held outdoors at MLK Jr. Park.

Time: As the tournament will start promptly at 12:00pm, please plan to arrive around 11:00am when registration will begin. Registration will close at 11:45am. If the participant cap has not been met at this time, waitlisted players will be offered a spot. Confirming your attendance on the WBO event page does not substitute for registration at the venue.

Prizes: Due to WBO funds currently being put on hold, prizes will not be offered at this event (fortunately this also means no entry fees!)

Other Information:
Please come prepared. It is helpful for both hosts and judges if all participants bring at least one Takara Tomy or Hasbro-manufactured Beyblade of their own and more than one launcher when possible. Additionally, parents of children under the age of 13 must be present for the duration of the event, as tournament end times can be difficult to estimate, and we would hate for someone to be left behind once it is over.

Be aware of your belongings. We'd advise users to please, please look after your stuff. While yes this is a Beyblade tournament and we're not suggesting that any of us would attempt to take each other's stuff it is still happening at a public venue where other people (who may not be so friendly) are going to be present as well. Of course, if you see a personal belonging lying around bring it up any of the judges so we can return it to the right person. Your co-operation is appreciated!

All players must arrive on-time. The tournament will begin no later than 1:00 PM and is expected to run for about 3 hours, though if there is a large turnout it may take longer. Please plan accordingly. If you do not arrive at the scheduled start time, you risk being excluded from the tournament. The software we use to run our events–Challonge–does not allow us to add in extra participants once the tournament has started.

If you know in advance that you will be late, please post in this thread or contact someone at the event and depending on the circumstances we can perhaps still include you if we know you will arrive soon.

Open your account page on your mobile device (if possible) during registration to help us keep things quick.

You must arrive by the tournament start time to enter. We cannot add new players to an event once it begins. If you're running late, contact the host.

Yup, Beaten in deck by Hello321 twice in one weekend and I can't even be salty about it :P In any case, today was a blast, and a definite improvement over our last tournament in terms of fake parts - special thanks for NoahRC51 for setting up a huge beyshop before the tournament so people could get their hands on (official) new releases! LS Br certainly dominated today, with many of the top 8 using the combo (or its counters) to get to the final stage. DeceasedCrab miraculously made it to finals using a pP Xt+ that beat not only LS Br, but also pP Xt+ counters like oE. Props to BladerReborn for taking it down with Judgment X' in the match for first place! As always, congrats to our top 4 finishers, and hope to see you all at our next Silver Spring tournament on October 27th.

Results:
1st - BladerReborn
2nd - DeceasedCrab
3rd - Hello321
4th - The Supreme One

If anyone happened to see/pick up keys at or around the park, please PM @'Pepobouthemy'!

The event sounded fun! I’ll make sure to make my dad make plans for the 27th Smile.
LOST!!
If any has a red GEN (its the rubber one) layer weight i have lost it. There is a reward for its return! Please check your stuff incase you picked it up by accident.
I had a blast! Pleasure meeting everyone.
Everybody's response to the Beyshop was incredible, almost overwhelming. I was glad just about everything everyone needed. I'll make sure to stock up on plenty of launchers next time. ?
I hope everyone had fun at the tournament today! It was exciting as usual.

My winning combos:
Perfect Phoenix (Level Chip) 00Cross Xtend+ (deck format and finals)
Zwei Diabolos Sting Quick' (finals only)
Lord Spriggan (Left) 0Wall Bearing (finals only)

I don't know what makes my Perfect Phoenix so good. But more of you need to try Perfect Phoenix, it's a great counter to all the new layers that are dominating the meta.

This is the 5th tournament I've gotten 2nd place in (4th ranked) and it's starting to be alarming. It is messing with my head. I should like to win 1st sometime... or end in any place other than 2nd.

Some notes for the participating bladers and their parents:

Please make sure you leave early enough to arrive at tournaments! I posted a thread about that.

A judge who is currently judging a match in progress is not a person who should be asked questions or engaged in conversation. They're busy.

If you are not currently in an active match, you should not be too close to the official match stadiums. Do you see the tarp around the stadiums? Stay away from it until you are assigned to battle in a stadium. And when your battle is over, please leave that area.

Are you currently in an active match? Don't have a conversation with someone not in an active match. Focus on your match. Finish your match, THEN go have a conversation with someone.

You should not be using the official match stadiums for practice during the tournament. It doesn't matter if it is currently unused. The tournament can not and should not be delayed by random people using stadiums they ought not to be using.

Things I need to invest in before next tournament: barriers and fencing. Maybe signage that says "Tournament Matches Only" and "Free Play Area".

Hope to see you at future tournaments!
This tournament is up next in the queue, but two accounts are missing: "Junseo park" and "CalebZIntruder". Kei or ~Mana~ can one of you please create them?

We're getting pretty close to being completely caught up with processing! After this tournament is processed we'll only be about a month and a half behind the present.
Is it going to be the same standard burst format?

You misunderstand; this tournament already happened. Wombat's commenting on it only because he needs admin intervention to get the results fully processed. Nothing to see here!
Oh ok. Hope to see you all in the next tournament!
Wombat "Junseo park" and "CalebZIntruder" have been created. Thanks!
