Encore, encore! After what is sure to be a spectacularly memorable and enjoyable weekend, we just won't want to let the fun end! That's why we will be hosting two more tournaments to round out the weekend: GRAND BATTLE ENCORE: Plastics and GRAND BATTLE ENCORE: Zero-G! If you're going to be at Anime North on Sunday, join us! What better way is there to say "Until next year!" for us if not a final Beyblade tournament?
Why should I participate in all of these tournaments?
Besides how much fun it's going to be to play in every existing WBO Organized Play Format over one weekend ... as an added incentive to encourage everyone to participate in as many of these tournaments as possible, there will be added benefits to participating in any (or all!) of the tournaments at AN!:
- Increased Credit Limit to 16 (regularly only 8 Credits per week is permitted)
- Each tournament grants you an extra entry into the BEYDAYS 2014 BeyLotto (prizes to be announced at a later date)
- If you participate in at least one tournament on each day (Friday, May 23rd, Saturday, May 24th, and Sunday, May 25th) you will be eligible to receive a two Face Boosters of your choice!

â€But I don’t have an Plastic Beyblade for GRAND BATTLE ENCORE: Plastics!â€
No bey? No prob! If necessary, I will allow people to borrow one of my Plastic Beyblades for their battles. If anyone else attending can do the same for those in need, it would be appreciated!
I know the start time is super early, but AN ends on the Sunday and we have to be out of the room by 3PM. Thanks for your understanding!
If you think you can make it, please post which tournament(s) you’ll be attending and I'll start building an attendance list!

Aha, at least Canada can still place in Plastics and Zero-G!
I ended up going 2-2 today, which is still definitely better than yesterday, hah. I was able to beat both Dark_Mousy, as well as this one younger member named Pascal. #Team2-2, yo.
During the finals, I decided to give Ultimate Blaze some assistance by lending him out my parts, like Duo, SA165, Bahamdia, and a couple other parts which lead him to winning against other members throughout the finals. He's a great kid, so I wanted him to win, especially against both Geetster and Kei. Both his and my Beyranks should be going up a lot once both Toronto's last three tournaments (at High Park) and AN's events are processed.
I had fun meeting you all this weekend, and hope to see you next year. This weekend was an absolute blast for me! (:

I tried to hold in my jealousy, haha.
Anyways, he did use MSF-M Genbull Genbull F230GCF a couple of times this event, but the F230 was Hasbro's orange. I'm pretty sure he beat Kei once with it, though.
Plastics was a lot of fun; my highlight was definitely facing off against Cye with my G Upper custom. :)
The triple tiebreak for 2nd/3rd between ULTIMATE BLAZE, geetster99, and myself in Zero-G was special not only because of how long it was but because of the method Arupaeo devised for choosing which stadium to use each time randomly. My only regret is absentmindedly picking Dragooon B:D out of my pocket and attaching, not realizing that it wasn't F230GCF for one battle against ULTIMATE BLAZE lol ...
Although my highlight for this tournament was probably playing against Sniper in the Defense Stadium and beating him using Attack 3-0. I was surprised that others thought it was an odd choice; if your opponent is using a Stamina type like Duo they have a much greater chance of being KOed by your Beyblade than you do of self-KOing, especially since there is only one pocket. In some ways, it feels a bit more comfortable to use Attack in that stadium if you are facing the right type of combo.

He was 5th in Zero-G.

BD145 scrapes a lot in Zero-G from my experience. It wasn't the best choice to begin with, hah.
Either way, one win wouldn't of made too much of a difference. You advanced, as well as placed second. (:
