The road to the Grand Battle begins! Virginia and Maryland Bladers, this is your chance to earn paid travel expenses (if necessary) to ANIME NORTH, along with an AN Pass to play in the WBO North American Championship, GRAND BATTLE TOURNAMENT 2!!

Location: Algonkian Park Shelter 1, Fairway Dr., Sterling, VA 20165. We will be playing by the playground next to Shelter 1. Park signs should help direct you there.
Registration: 1:00-2:00pm
Start time: 2:00pm
Finish: Between 4:00-5:00pm

Mandatory $5 Entry Fee = More Qualifiers + Extra Credits + Free Face Booster!
To help subsidize the high cost of flying/busing the qualifiers to Toronto, a mandatory $5 entry fee will be imposed on all Qualifier Series tournaments, regardless of whether or not a participant has a Blader Passport (if you wish to purchase a Blader Passport, the total cost would be $15 at a Qualifier Series tournament), and there will be no prize reimbursement apart from the travel expenses for the winner. We hope that everyone can understand this! The more funds we have, the bigger this championship will be! However, to show our appreciation for your cooperation and support in helping to fund the championship, all participants in Qualifier Series tournaments will receive the following:
- +1 Extra Credit to be used for prizes from our awesome Blader Rewards, on top of whatever they would have normally earned.
- One of these Face Boosters:

It definitely only applies to people traveling to a championship : anybody else in the top three of the tournament would definitely have to post their winning combinations, and the qualifying winners will simply post theirs after the championship, promptly.

The sad thing is despite going 10/11 (depending on how the fancy finals is counted)-2 on the day I may still end up losing beypoints...
