So.......... Anyone here got a toaster? PM me if you do, I need details.

Dark mousy: Move to London. It'll get more bladers. You can also get the best toastersTongue_out
I think you need to see a Toaster therapist. A toasterapist if you will.

Move to Illinois Dark Mousy! We have absolutely nothing except the 3rd largest city in the world and utter boredom!
Move to Louisiana!!! We gots dat good food
This needs its own thread. It's the "Convince Dark Mousy to move to your city!!!" contest.
Honestly Louisiana does has some of the best food ever.
Yeah move to Louisiana, we need more people for tournaments...
Wouldn't this be more appropriate on the WBO Random Thoughts? COME TO LA!
I just got my moles removed... And I also cut myself when I fell Q_Q
So I got surgery. Yay.... !
Has anyone put up the chrismas tree yet? So........ The count down starts.
Not me, we were supposed to do it on Black Friday, but you know what happens when my mm gets near a store.
I'm doing it today. T_T
In my family, we get the tree in at about mid-December, like 14-16th.
We're doing all our decorating, and getting our tree, next weekend. Just because we're Buddhist doesn't mean we don't get into the holiday spirit Smile
My family didn't even put up a tree last year. The year before my sister was still interested so she got to put it up and decorate it and all that, but last year none of us really cared about it. I mean, it's nice and all but with our various pets it's not worth the trouble of preventing them eating ornaments and so on. This year, well, we're going on a holiday tomorrow til next wednesday so we probably won't find time, but I am curious to see what happens re: the tree.

Speaking of Christmas though, it really bugs me that for some reason my family always have a roast lunch despite it being summer and usually around 40°C here (that's 104°F for those of you who like your measuring systems nonsensical). I'm not a huge fan of Roast Turkey even in winter, let alone sitting at a packed table in 40 degree heat.
Time for a holiday tradition of watermelon sorbet smoothies.
For our latest project in Digital Art, I have to make a logo, so I decided to make a logo for my upcoming Beyblade tournament.

It's Pegasus, since after all, the event is Before the Big Bang, haha.

Here it is so far...

First time with Illustrator, too. Tongue_out

Please don't use this image without my persmission
I think that would be beyblade random thoughts, but good logo.
Ah, my bad- wasn't sure about here, WBO random, or Beyblade random.

Thanks. Grin
Hey!
Who Wants To See Something Random?
Hey, it could be worse; one of my first posts was asking if Beyblades could be customized in tournaments lmaoo
Both not as bad as posting:
Oh, beginner posts.
My "Favorite Tip" thread was pretty stupid XD Though topics like this probably go in the WBO Random Thoughts thread.
I was extremely paranoid about getting warnings, since a few of the threads I'd made that I'd seen on other forums got closed.
These proooobably belong in WBO random thoughts, but while we're here, I'd just like to point out my first post said I "probably won't post much".
Okay, so I'm in "Music of the World's People" class, which is a requirement for most music majors at my school, and it details pretty much music from other countries that aren't really those traditional European-style orchestras (with the huge brass, the violins and cellos, etc.). Stuff like Middle Eastern, Indonesian, African, and Japanese. Not gonna lie, this is a pretty cool class and would advise music enthusiasts on this board to at least listen to different countries' music.

So my final project asks me to either interview a musician and talk about how his or her music caters to musicethnocology (the study of ethnic music). OR just talk about an ethnic music culture the was not covered in class. We did Indian, Middle Eastern, Indonesian (those are fun), African (VERY fun), and Japanese (surprisingly not so fun because he didn't bring his shamisen), so I chose to do traditional Chinese.

For materials, I mainly used soundtracks and scores from famous Martial Arts films such as The Forbidden Kingdom, Ip Man, Fearless and the classics Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and Iron Monkey. These are just for starters, so if there are any of you who are Chinese martial arts movies enthusiast with amazing scores, can you offer some suggestions beyond these? Because while Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and Iron Monkey pretty much seals the deal, I want to know your recommendations for movies to watch and listen to.

(Seriously, I should just do my project on CTHD.)
