High Park (map) - Toronto, Ontario, Canada
STANDARD (MFB) FORMAT
The flame in Pyro's BeyHeart may have slowly dimmed since two years ago when he first ignited our spirits … but regardless, we must press on! It is time to reignite our spirits!! Toronto Bladers, please come join us at High Park on Sunday, March 3rd, 2013 at 1PM for our first tournament of the year, REIGNITE YOUR SPIRIT!
Since we were able to gather enough participants in the Toronto WBO General thread, this will be an official WBO tournament! Make sure to get your Blader Passport if you haven't done so already! Or, simply pay $5 if you plan on only attending REIGNITE YOUR SPIRIT!. Aside from competing for Faces, BeyPoints, and Credits, the prizes will of course be good!
Location:
We'll be playing in the shelter where we usually play. If you're coming to High Park via the Bloor entrance, just follow that road down on the right side and you'll see the large building/shelter on the left hand side before you reach the tennis courts. If you have any questions about the location, please post here! This map has the area we'll be playing in roughly outlined:

Right now it seems as if it is going get progressively colder each day this week ... D: I was hoping it would at least be above zero, but it doesn't seem like it will be. Anyways, snow is usually not an issue for us at High Park, since we are playing in a semi-enclosed shelter.

- BBG-26 Starter Samurai Pegasis W105R²F x1 - $26 each
- BBG-27 Starter Gladiator Bahamdia SP230GF x2 - $26 each
- BBG-17 Zero-G Random Booster Vol.2 Archer Gargole x7 - $16 each

- BBG-19 Zero-G String Launcher x4 - $12 each
The Samurai Pegasis and Gladiator Bahamdia arrived just in time!
Also, the weather forecast now doesn't seem nearly as bad as it was the other day, so that's good news.

Zero G string launcher? what's the difference? lol
I'm quite interested in that samurai pegasis

It's designed for use in the ZERO-G Stadiums. Rather than shooting with the launcher in the traditional horizontal position, it is held vertically: http://worldbeyblade.org/Thread-BBG-19-Zero-G-Launcher

ehh I think I'll stick with the original, vertical would be too much of a awkward position, I'm more of a "horizontal kind of guy." haha
Oh and also, what time should I be there at? 12:00? 12:30? 1:00?

Well, the idea is to stand up when you launch, so it isn't as awkward as you might think. I really like it, personally. Because the ZERO-G Stadiums are enclosed, it's slightly harder to launch when both opponents are using Launcher Grips + traditional launchers in the forward position, since there is so little room to move your launcher legally. Using the ZERO-G Launcher opens up some of that space, and makes it easier to aim, I find.

Around 1PM would be fine.
the shelter is near the guys with swords fighting like a boss
Yeah, I think it's somewhere near the tennis courts.
you guy are going to have to show me all the new stuff. I am so out of the loop but i've poked around and there is some cool stuff going on. i cant wait for the spring/summer when we can have not freezing tournaments.

It depends on what entrance you're coming from. If you're coming from the Bloor entrance, it's actually in front of them.
Haha, we will. Does anybody have a ZERO-G Stadium they could bring just to play around with? I could bring one of mine, but I'm already bringing Attack Stadiums and other stuff, so I've got my hands full.
