Can you make the tournament outside?
(Sep. 05, 2022  1:06 PM)Angrydragon68 Wrote: Can you make the tournament outside?

Do you have any specific reason for wanting the tournament to be outside?

Nightwing's Gaming Loft is an indoor venue, with air conditioning.

If your reason for wanting it to be outside is because of COVID-19 concerns, well, you shouldn't attend ANY tournaments anytime soon, indoor or outdoor, for safety's sake.

If they made it outside it would likely be held at Martin Luther King Jr. Park near Silver Spring. However, many people seem to prefer indoor venues. All of the upcoming tournaments in the Maryland region appear to be taking place at this indoor venue.

If you are not permitted to attend indoor events, that's fine, but you cannot ask other people to accommodate your restrictions if they would require moving the entire tournament. Wait for another outdoor tournament.
Gonna be bringing some sweet treats to this event which would yall prefer cake cupcakes cookies or brownies

And also Jello too
Arranged for a pair of massage therapists to set up camp during the tournament hours so when you all get bodied you can de-stress a bit. You will be paying them directly, I won't get anything from your session.

That's why you'll benefit from a chair massage.
Jones BBQ is that you?

Lmao
I think perhaps at least one of the 36 participants or their parents might be uncomfortable with the idea. Not everyone is into massages, or not into them being offered at public events. Even as a strictly professional service, some people consider it a private activity.

That's fine, they will not partake in the services and won't have any issues to voice.

I don’t about everyone, but if I were trying to enjoy a nice Beyblade tournament and have fun with my friends, seeing people getting a massage while I play wouldn’t be that pleasant. People don’t really need a massage after losing in a kid’s toy tournament, and if they do get that worked up then that’s more of a personal problem that should be worked out in a private area.

But hey, that’s just a theory, a game theory.

There or in the Bay Area, both which are not in the middle of any blading area.

The gift I arranged for the parents of this event has been cancelled. I was unaware that folks would have such an issue with fully clothed chair massages being available to them during the event. I’ll keep this in mind.
Wish I could join y'all, but unless I was able to find a ride, it's gonna be impossible unfortunately, especially since work has Mom down for Mandatory Extra Time for the 9th unfortunately
Tomorrow's going to be Interesting. We're looking at the debut of the Super and King rings, and their variations, in a tournament setting, plus Drift Bearing. It's going to be something to behold, and it's ranked. I guess we're all going to find out the hard way how this new release is going to change things.
Oh wow I'm not judging again for a long time
