Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST

What I learned from Mayweather vs. McGregor; we need subtitles for McGregor after match comments, Jesus Christ what was he even saying...
Omg it rained so much yesterday. It was like flood in Mumbai

You can see yourself in a news clip I recorded

It's just 1km from my home btw. Fortunately my home is on a high place so water didn't got till here.
Well damn, I hope you and your loved ones are fine, the weather in your side of the world is pretty crazy sometimes unfortunately.
Its flooding in Lousiana and Texas too. Nobody expected Harvey to hit this hard, and twice. Luckily its not hit my city too bad (just mild wind and rain), its expected too soon though.

I read in the newspaper...how Texas was flooded...a picture was also given of the houses and people drowning in water...I think its all about Global warming...I also read that by few years the water level of the sea mainly pacific ocean and atlantic ocean will rise so much that many parts of south america and australia will get drowned and will be lost forever...
They will be named the lost Islands...
We lose a few feet of Louisiana every year, mainly due to erosion, but I am sure Global Warming plays a part too. Global warming is a very serious problem, A lot of people in the US ignore it simply because they will not feel the worst effects in their lifetime.
All these natural disasters at least partially caused by Man, and I am going to Japan and crossing my fingers for no actual mankind atrocity in the shape of a missile... Dir en grey would totally ease that stress away though, but still, it would be horrible if they had to cancel those shows.
Don't worry, North Korea's war is secretly protecting humanity by waging war against the Kaiju, as seen by their multiple attacks against the Pacific Ocean.
The most Ironic thing is that...when a child starts to learn about science...its first lesson begins that how we should protect our environment...alerting about global warming..as the child grows..it learns how to destruct the environment...salute to our education system...
I am saying this becoz half of the India in under water...like Mumbai where FIREFIRECPB leaves and half of the India is facing drought like Kolkata...where I leave...
Man, someone sent me a very sweet message and made me realise that today, October 9th, is actually the ten-year anniversary of my registration here.

As some of you may have noticed, I have been very inactive, sometimes not there at all, since September. I went to Japan several times this year, which caused me to lose track of new replies here and of Beyblade in general, and I started a new job and moved out into a new apartment, which still requires cleaning and unpacking time. However, on top of that, Beyblade Burst has caused me to care a lot less about Beyblade in general, and it honestly pains me to see the state of this message board and the community at the moment. It makes it seems like the dedicated work accomplished on this website in the last ten years was all for nothing. Because even if Beyblade interests me less, I never once wished to leave this forum in the poor state it is in, for the sake of the community... I really hope that, on December 4th 2017, we can celebrate more than the one-year anniversary of a catastrophy, somewhat. BeyPoints paralysed, Credits paralysed, core features paralysed, etc. Thank you to those who have stayed faithful despite all these issues.

The truth is, though, that fixing all those problems created by a very precocious layout renewal launch makes us rely on one person only, who understandably has a life to lead besides that, and has been working multiple hours almost for free... And even if we empathise, it makes us so helpless. There is no way we can fix this layout on our own, because it has now evolved to one using bypasses and a language that none of us understand anymore, whereas we could manage previously with the more regular MyBB layout. I knew that this upgrade would bring us a lot of trouble since I knew that there would be no one to teach us how to work with this new programming language afterwards. History repeats itself.

Anyway, to end this message on a brighter note: for whom, here, is the World Beyblade Organization very dear?
@[Kai-V] Ah don't sweat it, it's good to see you back, even if it might not be for too long!
Kai-V, the WBO is very dear to me. I plan on staying here for as long as it stays up, because not only is the WBO a place where everyone with a passion for Beyblade can share their passion, without judgment, this is also a place that can truly change and shape people. Since I have joined every day has been brighter for me, and that is something that is not easily obtained. And I know that the WBO has had its ups and it's downs but that is something that is expected. But, it doesn't make the WBO less of a site, or all of us less of a community. Because in the end, it's the members that truly influence this site.

100000% agreed. BTW WBO is obviously very dear to me as well. It not just gave me many friends but also thought me alot of things and not just in beyblade but in life as well. I can't believe how much I improved since I joined this place and you all are like my family now. so probably my 99th birthday would be a WBOian as well beyhaha

I hold the WBO as dear as I can. It pains me when people are misled by bad information, and I really want to contribute in any way I can, which is why I have worked on the Wiki. Even if I cannot go to tournaments, even with no credits, I still log on almost every day. Thanks for all your hard work, @[Kai-V].
I care a lot about the WBO. I care a lot about this fandom, there's a reason why I put out so many wiki drafts in the first place and it's why I did that overly long U2 and Evipero Test. I want to help improve this fandom, especially now more than ever
I care a lot about the WBO, even though I am not active in hobby or fandom. It really helped me get out of my shell when I was younger, I hope it can also help newer and younger members like it helped me. As for the state of the message board, even with beyblade burst it was headed down this road for a long time (mid 2015 is when I started seeing it go downhill). Although I disagreed with a lot of the management decisions leading to this (which I may have discussed with you), I believe that everyone on the management team and most of the userbase ultimately wants what's best for the community. You seemed to be one of the main factors holding it together, I am quite saddened to see that you have become less active, even though it is probably for the best as you have your own life and responsibilities outside of an online forum and can't prop it up on your own.
Thank you for the replies, guys. There was a good mix of people I knew who would reply to that question, people I thought were almost gone entirely, and people who did not reply hah.

The thing is, with the limited time I have now, in particular, there is no way I can make any progress on anything considering all the obstacles. Therefore, I end up spending my time elsewhere.

It's very disheartening with the state of this message board and the Beyblade community as a whole.  I honestly just didn't enjoy posting anymore around 2015.  Personally I felt like there was nothing that could be done to change anything, and when all of these announcements were made with the upgrades to the site and the new features, I was excited but feared that it was too much for this place on the downhill spiral it was on.  I was a new member in a very productive time during 2012-2014, but even then it seemed kind of toxic.  Oh well, I still hope the best for the site and you.
Well, I feel like a retard. I can't pass any of my Calc 2 tests, and everyone else at "number one school in Florida" can. So obviously I'm just a retard.

Don't put yourself down like that! Different people are good at different things, so don't be upset I feel you can't do things others can. It's not a good mindset to compare yourself to others like that.
Hello, everyone. I'm thinking of writing some creepy stories to post on Halloween. But, I can't think of any ideas. So I've decided to ask you guys! Hopefully, you guys can come up with some creative ideas. Also, I'm going to write three stories, (hopefully) so I will only pick three ideas.
You know that feeling when you get the random craving to fling something across the street? Or is it just me?...

Y'all ever had a day where it was so bad but you cant even pinpoint a certain moment it went bad, it was just consistent small bad and annoying things that happened throughout the day?

Ah, that sucks. I've had one of those days before, so I totally understand.

There's always a tomorrow, though! Hope you enjoy the long weekend, I mean! Tongue_out
