The only one? I mean I wasn't the biggest fan of the show - it was better than most of its contemporaries sure but still, for me not too amazing, however I'm not sure if you could feel that way and not be aware that it has one of the more active fanbases that have focussed on bringing it back etc, it's kinda a big deal.

...
I didn't mean the "only person" who likes the show, I meant on the WBO, itself.
If anything, it was just a way to start a topic/discussion.
It's better than planet sheen big time. Oh, that brings back memory's
Thanks for the amazing nostalgia, Leone.
I used to love watching it, even though there were very few episodes to watch in Canada.
Sheen's still one of my favorite Nickolodeon characters, aside from Patrick.

We watched Jimmy Neutron in Physics as a timekiller at the end of the semester a while ago, which promptly and thoroughly crushed all of my good memories of the show XD
Today, the animation looks hilariously choppy and bad (though in its own time it was really cool), I forgot how stupid some of the jokes were (which, again, were really cool for my younger self), and the fake-sciencey technobabble made me cringe.

You got to love it when they go into space without helmets, though.
I remember the one time Sheen asked about that and as soon as Jimmy started to explain it, Carl started to sing so we couldn't hear it, haha.
Dang computers. My monitor cable inside my laptop occasionally comes loose, presumably because whoever designed it didn't think twice about putting an important connector right above the heatsink - generally the hottest area of the laptop under heavy use, which causes glitches - basically big chunks that flash bright colors quickly before returning to normal. So yesterday it started really playing up and though I was getting tired I decided to open it up, reseat it and go to sleep. I did this, and then turned it back on and the screen was completely unresponsive. Two more attempts at checking everything later and I gave up and went to sleep, deciding that I would disassemble my old, dead laptop and see if it had a suitable replacement on a day where less things were going wrong (it had not been a good day to that point aside from some interesting chat with Ingulit about 3D Modelling). So I wake up today, disassemble the other laptop, disassemble the current one, and nope, no fit. Looked at swapping the screens - took them both out only to realise that despite checking it beforehand they were actually different sizes. So I resigned myself to defeat and set about reassembling my laptop to use it with a regular monitor until I could get a replacement cable. Turned it on half way through reassembly in a half-hearted hope that my fiddling had somehow fixed it, and nope, screen still dead. Finished reassembling, turned it on just to make sure I hadn't disconnected anything during the rest of the reassembly, this now being after about 4 hours work.
Screen came on, functioning perfectly.
You know that image about USB's and trying to insert it once, failing, turning it over, failing, turning it back to the original and then it fits? Turns out it applies to plenty of other computer parts as well I guess.

Some girl at school always tries to nag everyone around. I am very tired of it. Why can't she just stop ONCE AND FOR ALL! Like seriously, she is going to get into serious trouble.
She's obviously looking for attention. Don't give it to her. It's that simple.
If only there were somebody like a teacher or an adult who you could talk to about your problems at school...
Seriously, just go talk to a teacher or counselor about this girl before the problem escalates. That's what they're there for.

I have to ask - are you sure she is always nagging, or did she just tell you to do something you should probably have been doing (and maybe she should have minded her business - that isn't the point I'm going for here), and that's what's annoyed you enough that you're posting on a spinning tops site about it?
I don't mean to be a jerk, but generally I find frustration most often occurs when someone calls another on something they're legitimately wrong about (because that means they can't just dismiss it as the 'nagger' being dumb).

Also, this - if you think trouble is likely you should speak to someone.
Finally I'm on Spring Break.
Finally.
I have no idea how to waste this one XD Breaks really remind how much much of a life I have.
Which is nothing.

Wow okay I'm really disappointed because the 15 or so people who were all collaborating to get a group pass for anime north (the price for an individual was brought down to only 10 dollars!) completely bailed.
So yesterday I got my money refunded and was told that since so many people lost interest, it left only two people in the group who actually wanted to go.
I was so looking forward to going this year and especially to the WBO tournament
Man, life sucks.

You could always....sneak in
But you could just buy a day pass for GBT2, no? That's what I plan on doing, hopefully there are enough tickets then, but if not I guess I'll have to try my luck sneaking in.
Orrrrrr, you could try winning the qualifier on May 4th haha.
Wow, god sure does awesome miracles at great times! Congrats Dark!
(Good luck with learning clutch )

True but I really feel like not spending money nowadays and so unless the WBO is having the Blader's Pass, I'm probably gonna cheap out
I don't want to risk sneaking in and also my commute there is gonna be 30$ anyway so ...
Winning a tournament? No dice bro!
I'll probably just end up saving and going to the theatre with my friend.
Wouldn't this discussion belong in the WBO Random Thoughts?
I just watched the Kitchen Nightmares for the Amy's Bakery Company, (it was a revisit, ant the first time Gordon Ramsey actually turned his back on anyone) and the two owners can't take criticism for nothing, and told all of the Yelp reviewers any vulgar phrase imaginable, but people say their food is awesome. There you have it: They have swollen egos.

No not really because the main topic was Anime North, the WBO just was a secondary part of that and I really didn't feel like spamming two versions of the same complaint in two threads. Next time I'd appreciate you reporting posts instead of mini-modding.
On another, random note, I feel like high school sped by (I'm not complaining about this, I'm absolutely happy). Like I could remember sanding down my wood working class' project around this time last year and it feels like only yesterday. I thought about this when I accidentally walked past the open garage when the teacher was emptying the ventilation pipes (not fun). Woah, time does fly. So does sawdust.
Also prices have gone up SO much for everything. I remember when I was younger, the museum would be like 10$ to enter. Now it's a whopping 25$ (and some extra for the exclusive exhibits).
I feel like I'm turning into an old guy, complaining about prices and time XD
Can't believe this site is still going aha, literally have no idea who anyone is anymore
I think my parents are actually just two Dittos. Ever since we came home from our trip to the Pokemon Safari for my birthday, they just don't seem the same. They always have this blank stare on the face. Always watching, never blinking. They won't answer me either, they just keep saying that word..."Ditto". Every time I talk to them I just get the same response back, "Ditto". We're starting to run out of food in the house, but there is enough to last me a little bit, they don't eat anything anymore. Or sleep for that matter. Just "Ditto".
... The Great Pokémon Revolt has begun!
