Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST

Sweet cosplay!
I'm pretty excited myself, since it's the first convention I'll have ever gone to, & I'm getting a weekend pass with my friend so we can go to all the interesting anime panels lol
Today I realized that I really like baking, and I baked cupcakes, and they turned out well, and they tasted great too.

I think that's my new secret.
yeah only 85,000+people know it now

On the same topic, I actually and really enjoying cooking. 2 weeks ago I made puttanesca (search it up, it is awesome) and two days from now I am going to make beef bourguignon and crème brûlée.
Anyone ever tasted Ramune? It's a marble drink that carbonates, only downside is that the drink tastes horrible...
You think it tastes horrible? I loveeeee it.
Are you serious? I get it every time I go to the mall, its awesome!
Ramune Smile

Nothing says otaku like paying $4 for a soft drink that costs less than $1 in Japan!

Not really, Otaku's would be paying the $1, not the $4, seeing as the term specifically refers to Japanese people, at least when used correctly.

If you're talking Weaboo, which would be the closest word to Otaku tone-wise that refers to non-Japanese people being obsessed with what they see as Japanese culture, however, I can definitely think of a few things that say it more.
I say people are Otakus that are big manga/anime fans and buy like pocky/ramune and stuff like that that can be anywhere in the world. I guess that's just how I use it :\

Yes, well as I said you're using it incorrectly, which isn't uncommon. The word is basically just a Japanese equivalent of what we'd consider a very obsessive geek, it isn't an obsession with Japanese culture (a word like that to exist in Japanese would be very odd for what should be quite obvious reasons). Japanophile is the word you should probably be using, seeing as that is free of any sort of offensive connotation.
Ahh, I see. Thanks for clearing that up!
You all pay $4 for Ramune?? I live 3 minutes away from Galcos Soda Pop Stopand they have a basic selection of Ramune and all kind so of other sodas, and the Ramune there is $1.50
Yeah, there is this convenience store really close to my house called The Asian Market, and they sell Ramune for around $1.50, and it's pretty good. They sell fake beyblades there too, haha.
It has been a long time seance I've been on this site. In fact, the last time I was on this site they still were on random thoughts #2.

I forgot my old account years ago... Plus I didn't care to keep my old one.
I think I'm like 70th in posts.
I feel so special XD
0.0 It's amazing how many posts everybody on the first page has XD I mean, 35,000 posts...? That's jaw dropping!
Page 5 right here... not even 600 posts, about 1/60th of Kai-V's posts, lol
Postcounts are basically meaningless. Quality over Quantity, always.
Of course they don't mean a whole lot, but they're interesting anyways. Smile
