Tbh I don’t think the driver has a weak spring. It might be on par with other regular driver. Definitely weaker than a prime driver

Honestly, I think Retsu might be part of the bursting problem here, as that's a source of imbalance that makes it easier to burst.
dont forget about the driver's weak spring
The driver might not be THAT weak . Since , the Driver and the Gimmick of the driver have SAME SPRINGS , it might have Created an Obstruction , that would have DECREASED the Burst Resistance offered by Slash Valkyrie ( Its HUGE teeths ) and the ( Heavy ) Blitz Disk ( which might be TOO overweight with its Gimmick and unification ) , Thus , further decreasing the Burst Resistance .

Potentially, yes. That also depends on the weight distribution. Apparently, 00 has more CWD, making it a bit harder to burst, while Blitz probably has a bit more OWD than CWD, (not confirmed) taking the little flaps into account, so that makes it easier to burst.
I'm confused then. Wider disks give more burst resistance (Yell for example), but OWD reduces burst resistance? Would the most burst resistant disk have CWD while being very wide?
I know OWD gives more rotational inertia (more stamina). Unbalanced disks reduce burst resistance or so I've been told. Not sure what the benefits to CWD are.

CWD seems to make Beys harder to knock over aside from increasing Burst Resistance.

OWD - more stamina, less Burst Resistance, easily destabilized and/or KOd
CWD - lesser stamina than OWD, more Burst Resistance, not easily KO'd
Burst resistance also varies depending on whether or not the Core Disk+Frame/Forge Disk is heavier than the Layer, since lighter Disks tend to have more Burst resistance at the expense of being much more easily outspun or KO'd than their heavier variants

It's case only when overall bey isn't dense. Which is why it works with plastic gen.
But burst are already quite small and have concentrated weight.
Imagine standing on one leg. When you lose balance. And there isn't anything to hold. You shift your weight towards other side. OWD also pulls bey from all sides and prevent it from falling for longer time
CWD also gives higher RPM in begining and more resistance to unbalanced parts (as more weight is concentrated to smaller area). But OWD can retain that spin for longer
Although I feel CWD can help with LAD. As more concentrated weight will sllow frame to roll more on stadium in last few rotaionr

How does CWD increase the starting RPM? It's the launch that decides how fast a Bey spins, and you can't gain more RPM than what the launch gives, apart from spin stealing.
Lmao, one of my Slash Valkyrie(s) layer as well as the driver (the disk came fine) came broken in two pieces! Not gonna lie but this is the first time that I actually received something broken via online shopping. I don't exactly know what's the reason behind this but, GG Takara Tomy.

The simple answer is that it's easier to get moving. With high OWD you're giving your bey a lot of energy per rotation which makes it that much harder to pull on the string/ripcord, which in turn means it'll come off spinning slower but last far longer. CWD has the reverse effect, since the bulk of the weight isn't spinning as fast so there's less resistance and it gains a higher RPM, but for less time overall.
It's basically the same difference between heavier beys and lighter beys. Launching heavy Cho-Z beys can be hard to do with any launcher, and the bey will overall have a lower RPM because it's resisting the launch so strongly. Contrast with something really light like the original Valkyrie, which can be launched far faster with incredible ease since there's so little resistance.
how much does the slash valkyrie layer weigh?

wow thats pretty heavy, i heard that its slightly heavier than the cho-z valkyrie layer does this mean that it could break older generation beys?
To be fair, even Legend Spriggan and Sieg Xcalibur could break Dual Layers due to their size and recoil, so SV could realistically wreck Dual Layers, too.
Really, you shouldn't be using Cho-Z or GT beys against Basic and Dual Layers to begin with. They're far too heavy and the fight's not gonna be fair anyways.
As I see it, using really new parts against significantly older releases is always going to be a bad idea, as is the case with really Attack-heavy layers against older parts.

Just 1 grams difference won't make it that much powerful though. It's like adding Metal God Chip to CZ-V
But contact points like that might possibly do. But we dunno yet
Here's my own input on this release, after using some time off work to test against some of the competitive combos pre-GT:
Valkyrie Chip: three blocks of teeth is kinda nice, a different take on Attack types, but still feels too loose when clicking
Slash Base: basically a rehash of Victory and Winning Valkyrie's strong design, with a bit of heft and color. I was surprised they didn't name it "Champion" at first, but I guess Valt losing to Aiga was not a great support for that name.
The 烈 Weight: seems to be something like Triple or possibly Quake in weight distribution, but the 3 points line up nicely with putting weight on the Slash Base; haven't tried putting the Weight the other way though
Blitz Disk: heaviest GT Disk so far, the little triangular attack points don't really provide too much attack potential, kinda like the rubber grips on Zenith, fused with the triangular shape of Magnum. It might provide some OWD needed for some additional rotations for LAD, but when the points are down it kills the remaining stamina.
Power Driver: Interesting gimmick, but useless nevertheless. It is extremely tight especially on some Layers like Shadow Amaterios, but the gimmick I have failed to see the ability kick in. Maybe if the spring is not the same exact spring that locks the white part into the teeth (kinda like Nothing or Absorb but more controllable), it might have some viability as a Burst delaying mechanism. The bottom part would have LAD potential if not for the protrusions on the rim (like Destroy/Destroy')
Slash Valkyrie in stock form is not too great. Bursts quite quickly especially against stock Ace Dragon. The Chip is awesome, but not feeling as tight or secure as its Chouzetsu counterparts. I'd recommend putting Destroy on that (or the Dash counterpart if you have extra), since the Blitz Disk seems to aid in OWD for sustaining a few more rotations for winning Over Finish along with the free-spinning plate of Destroy; Blitz is much more efficient than Zenith in a sense, but it could have also had rubber on the moving triangular parts.
I have no formal testing yet, but I could see Slash Valkyrie dominating with the correct combo as the new Winning Valkyrie of Gatinko meta

slash valkyrie is very underwhelming and embarrassing since it loses to first gen valkyrie and zeutron z4 LOL its so freaking trash man
guys if i was to put a destroy' on slash valkyrie would it break?

My Cho-Z Valkyrie bursts against Orb Egis.11.Zt all the time, but otherwise does amazing against every other bey (including Orb Egis with any other combo). Don’t ask me why it loses to that specific combo, it just does. It probably has something to do with the shape. My point is that you need proper testing 9/10 times in order to properly assess the potential of the part(s). I don’t want to see another post that states a Beyblade performs bad as a hard fact, rather than opinion, before proper testing is done.

Remember guys, it’s about the blader Not the bey.
