MUST READ: COVID-19 Requirements in Effect
Due to COVID-19, all tournament participants and attendees are required to abide by the requirements linked below. If you do not, you may be asked to leave the tournament area. Thank you for your understanding and stay safe!

Please see additional event information and any local or federal requirements below.

Format: The format for this event is Burst Standard. Legal parts / launchers will not be lent out by event staff.

Host: Yami

LocationThis event will be held outdoors at Wheaton Regional Park. Please note the address in the description as the park itself is quite large and typing the park name into Google Maps will lead you in the wrong area.

Time: As the tournament will start promptly at 12:00pm, please plan to arrive around 11:30am when registration will begin. Registration will close at 11:50am. Confirming your attendance on the WBO event page does not substitute for registration at the venue.

Prizes: Due to WBO funds currently being put on hold, prizes will not be offered at this event (fortunately this also means no entry fees!)

COVID-19 Precautions READ THIS BEFORE CONFIRMING YOUR ATTENDANCE:
This event will cooperate with the Montgomery County COVID-19 Phase 2 Guidelines, which require the following:

- Social distancing of 6 feet when possible
- Signs and markings indicating 6 feet gaps
- Face coverings for everyone over age 2 (Please note that players who do not bring their own face covering will be unable to compete)
- Guidance and training on the rules
- Disinfectants applied to common used surfaces

In addition, we respectfully request that all parents and siblings of tournament participants remain away from the playing area and avoid close interactions with tournament equipment and individuals outside of their immediate family. If you're eating or drinking please leave the tournament area to eat and drink at a safe manner possible.

If you show up at the tournament with no registered account and/or have not pre-registered on here. You will be asked to leave the tournament.

Other Information:
Please come prepared. It is helpful for both hosts and judges if all participants bring at least one Takara Tomy or Hasbro-manufactured Beyblade of their own and more than one launcher when possible. Additionally, parents of children under the age of 13 must be present for the duration of the event, as tournament end times can be difficult to estimate, and we would hate for someone to be left behind once it is over.

Be aware of your belongings. We'd advise users to please, please look after your stuff. While yes this is a Beyblade tournament and we're not suggesting that any of us would attempt to take each other's stuff it is still happening at a public venue where other people (who may not be so friendly) are going to be present as well. Of course, if you see a personal belonging lying around bring it up any of the judges so we can return it to the right person. Your co-operation is appreciated!

All players must arrive on-time. The tournament will begin no later than 1:00 PM and is expected to run for about 3 hours, though if there is a large turnout it may take longer. Please plan accordingly. If you do not arrive at the scheduled start time, you risk being excluded from the tournament. The software we use to run our events–Challonge–does not allow us to add in extra participants once the tournament has started.

If you know in advance that you will be late, please post in this thread or contact someone at the event and depending on the circumstances we can perhaps still include you if we know you will arrive soon.

"I'm bringing a stadium!" "I'm bringing parts for sale or trade!" Gosh, y'all are the worst at social distancing and following the rules during COVID-19. You know that right?

Hey I’m not saying anything about part but some people should read the new rules because of COVID

EVERYONE should read the new rules because of COVID. Because, generally speaking, everyone is so bad at following them that I won't even attend tournaments anymore until COVID-19 is handled better than it is.
Leaving in about thirty minutes. See y’all there! Joyful_3
I'm leaving in 19 minutes so see ya at the tournament
Really cutting things close, aren't you folks? The tournament STARTS at 12:00, so registration ends at 11:50. If you're late, they're not going to hold registration open for you.
I made a thread a long time ago about how to show up to events on time, and clearly a lot of you need to read that too.

Do you know how far away we live from the tournament location? I’m not cutting it too close. It’s only 25-30 minutes away.
This was kinda epic. I had fun.
who was 3rd place watch on challenge
same, but I wish I was better at flower patterns Uncertain I probably would've beaten Leftburst and TSO if I was

oof, the same thing happened to me at the tournament 'Show yourself BigBang' where me and Deceased Crab had the same score, but he beat me earlier in the tournament so I barely missed the finals
Who took the prize? I know TSO won, but I’m not sure if someone else got it or not. And was there a top three photo?

Anyways, this was very fun, and a nice change of pace. It was also nice to be under a pavilion for once.

I got the prize because I didn’t have a Hasbro Phoenix so thank you Grin Had a great time today! I was able to pull a pretty clutch win against Beymaster and the match with Ardmore was fairly close too. Keep an eye out for our next tournament in the coming weeks.

Great! Glad the prize donation was of some use. I’ll definitely try to go to another tournament. Thanks for judging Grin
This tournament was great as it featured my rare appearance at a Maryland tournament I ended up getting 2 wins 3 losses however It made sense as this tournament had many strong bladers and since we haven’t had tournaments for months we need to figure out what’s new isn’t the meta out of all the new Sparking stuff. I had a very close match with Beymaster with Rage Jolt’ vs. Rage Hunter’ pretty great even though I lost through stamina. Hopefully I’ll be back to another Maryland tournament soon

I also had 2 wins and 3 losses, and my battles against LeftBurst and Ardmore were quite close, with both of them beating me 3-2. If I had won against either of them, I would've probably been in the finals
This tournament was great! I had a blast and didn’t do to bad for my first beyblade tournament ever. Thanks for hosting it, and I can’t wait for the next one.
So for one of the first Sparking era tournaments WBO has had, what kinds of beys made a showing? Lot of rage I here. Any Variant Lucifer or 2D or Mobius? Perhaps some Mirage Fafnir? Does Judgement still show up, and does Imperial still make a showing from time to time? Perhaps Master's still around?
