Please come prepared. It is helpful for both hosts and judges if all participants bring at least one Takara Tomy or Hasbro-manufactured Beyblade of their own and more than one launcher when possible. Additionally, parents of children under the age of 13 must be present for the duration of the event, as tournament end times can be difficult to estimate, and we would hate for someone to be left behind once it is over.

Be aware of your belongings. We'd advise users to please, please look after your stuff. While yes this is a Beyblade tournament and we're not suggesting that any of us would attempt to take each other's stuff it is still happening at a public venue where other people (who may not be so friendly) are going to be present as well. Of course, if you see a personal belonging lying around bring it up any of the judges so we can return it to the right person. Your co-operation is appreciated!

All players must arrive on-time. The tournament will begin no later than 12:00 PM and is expected to run for about 3 hours, though if there is a large turnout it may take longer. Please plan accordingly. If you do not arrive at the scheduled start time, you risk being excluded from the tournament. The software we use to run our events–Challonge–does not allow us to add in extra participants once the tournament has started.

If you know in advance that you will be late, please post in this thread or contact someone at the event and depending on the circumstances we can perhaps still include you if we know you will arrive soon.

Any extra stadiums are appreciated there will be a MFB limited tournament after if you have any questions DM me or post in this  thread.

Addressing this over PM. Please stop asking.
You’re a lifesaver, Xeno. I actually might be able to go! Thanks for hosting this!

Also, will there be a cap?
No sir
I never do caps lol Smile
Not 100% sure but I'll Register for now
If I want to register myself, as well as my son, do I need to create a separate account for him?
I'll see what I can do, I need to find a ride down there maybe idk.

You will need one account for each person playing!

Well, this will be both of our first tournaments (At least, my first since plastic gen), as long as we can make it. It's a bit of a drive for us, but we're itching to play. I've read and understand the rules, and we've been practicing with tournament rules to get him more familiar. We're going to put together some beys, and make sure all the parts are legal before we make our way there. Going to learn as much as we can beforehand, however hopefully there will be someone there who can point us in the right direction, if we need it.
I would be happy to point you guys in the right direction just DM me if u have any questions or concerns and I will get back to you

Absolutely! Several of us have been playing since the plastic and metal fight generations and we'd be happy to point you in the right direction. We'll be playing Metal Fight Limited afterwards if you two are interested in that as well!
hey i might be able to go
Thank you for the offers to help folks. I'll definitely take you up on that if I'm in need. I've been doing some shopping around a bit to find some more competitive beys. We mostly have Hasbro stuff right now, and I know it's sorta outshined by TT.
TT is mostly meta rn but there is still stuff like arch bahamut 00 wall bearing but u would need to get hasbro bahamut hasbro chaos and then TT cho Z achelies
Xeno, it's a long drive, I will not make it
Do these types of tournaments typically have no entry/prizes? It is about a 5 hour drive for us, however 2 of my best friends live in Silver Spring, so it's worth it for me to make the trip anyway. This is mostly just out of curiosity.

Most of my experience comes from the TCG scene, so I've never been exposed to "just for fun" tournaments.

Traditionally we’ve had prizes, but with the WBO payment system currently down, we haven’t been able to get prize reimbursement due to not having entry fees. It’s up to the host if they want to supply prizes out of pocket, but definitely not required right now!

I didn't even know there was an internal payout system. That's super cool actually.

I'm not sure if it's frowned upon, but do organizers ever have a sort of side pot option available at the events in the mean time? I've seen it done in a couple of other games where they'll just collect from those who want to play for prize money, and payout to 1st, or top 2, top 4 etc, based on the rankings of the players who payed in. ((Edit: this works best in a Swiss format for the most accuracy.))

WBO prizes aren't permitted to be in the form of cash or gift cards. Basically just Beyblade product only.
I will probably do prizes i am gonna look into it this week
Will there be prizes for part 2?

If we can get a handful of others on board, I wouldn't mind pitching in a little bit for a prize pool or something. Completely up to you as the organizer, of course. Just throwing the idea out there.
