Yeah, that isn't really the newest think. It falls really short though.

Important: Rule Update

As of March 8, 2019, Jolt' is now unbanned and legal to use in Burst Classic format.

There is STILL no explanation of why Merge', Volcanic', Blow', and Accel' are banned. None of these drivers would be overpowered.

Since you asked so politely, I'd be glad to provide an explanation for now.

Accel' and Blow', similarly to Zephyr', are far too exploitable in Tornado Stalling Stamina combos to be allowed in Classic. Having a combo that's capable of outspinning most Stamina types and avoiding stationary Burst Attackers (which is the most reliable way to counter stationary Stamina combos) while also performing well against Xtreme' and Jolt' based KO Attackers (the primary counter to Tornado Stallers) due to the stronger spring of the ' Driver makes them unhealthy for the format. Aside from a few lucky KOs, I couldn't get any Classic-legal combo, aside from like, Dragoon on Eternal, to defeat Guardian Kerbeus/Chaos Gravity Zephyr'. Back in 2015, Odin Heavy Blow was a semi-popular variant of Odin Heavy Defense, and it would only become more powerful with Blow'.

Merge' and Volcanic' could potentially be unbanned in the future, it's just a matter of making sure that there is no combo that could make them overpowered. I can't think of anything off the top of my head that would - Takara Tomy had the right idea by making only Attack and Balance Drivers have ' versions - but even then, having a Driver that's not completely dedicated to KO Attack and makes you basically unburstable in a format where bursting is relatively frequent seems like it might be too much of an advantage.

If you see a good deal on Extreme dash i would pick that up as from my testing and a few others jolt Dash seems to have a less aggressive and grippy movement pattern compared to extreme Dash the reasoning behind this is the rubber is a lot stiffer on jolt Dash then extreme squishy rubber.
So anyone else think gV.Y.X' is a bit too good? The best defense type I could come up with was kS.H.Y and it was still getting destroyed where as other attackers such as vV.H.X' started to have a bit of trouble against it. I'm kinda getting the Omega vibe from this one when mfb LTD was still in the early stages.

Agreed, gV was extreme(‘)ly dominant in a couple of test battles I played, it burst or KOed Anubis Spread Revolve, kS.H.O, and Dragoon phantom polish bearing, and numerous other combos.
And I think one more reason, why most dash drivers not added is that released as a part of Cho-Z series, and this format point is use older Burst Beyblades.

I personally don't want to relive the crappy attack days lol dash drivers need to stay.  Spamming perfect balance WHR and DHR is not fun.

Well, the hasbro one seems to be pretty good honestly. I tried SV3.R.X and it was bursting G2.D.O pretty easily.

Blow' is too thin too keep balance and thus lacks defense. It would easily be knocked around like a normal Blow driver would.

Accel' doesn't have stamina like Zephyr'. You should test it.

Merge', like Merge, practically 'floor scraps' with its rubber standing still and is otherwise hyper-aggressive like X'. No one would use it if it was unbanned.

Volcanic' is literally more hyper-aggressive than any of the current Dash drivers allowed. No reason to be banned.
Accel' has almost the the same amount of stamina as zephyr dash other than it, i think all the dash u list should be allowed
Alright, heads up. Another Classic tournament done, another set of totally madness riddled meta from a different geographic region.

Pennsylvania is Wolborg country! We're talking Wolborg on Eternal, with either Heavy or Yell as the core disk. Both performed Ridiculously Well. There were at least 4 people using that combo, probably 5 or more. And they mostly did very well.

Myself, I innovated only slightly. I ran Orpheus O2.Spread.Eternal-S the entirety of the first stage, with 4 wins and 2 losses, with some wins and some losses against Wolborgs (someone had a Wolborg on Loop, so). O2 didn't burst all tournament, until I get to the finals and here comes Wombat with a Guardian Kerbeus.Down.Orbit. Yes, Down sounded weird to me too, but gK didn't NEED extra stamina. Anyway, Eternal-S, mine at least, is super tight. We're not talking Ban Hasbro Bearing tight but it's up there. Become aware of this.
Things that beat O2: Wolborg, Cognite C3 (on Trans, and it was close), gK, Storm Spriggan (outspun! Dang Wombat what'd you do).

So here's what I'm thinking, and this is going to be received badly, but I'm going to mention it anyway: Atomic Bearing and Eternal are the dominant tips in Standard. Not a debate, fact, go look at the Winning Combos thread if you don't believe me. Atomic and Bearing are totally banned in Classic, so we're seeing a ton of Eternal. We still see Orbit and Revolve, but less so. We cool with this?

EDIT: My mistake, TT bearing isn't banned. I guess we're cool with this!

I see what you're saying. If I remember correctly, TT Bearing is not banned in Classic only Hasbro Bearing is. TT Bearing is just not a viable part to use since putting it on right spin would easily lead to a burst due to Bearing's poor burst resistance and the lack of decent left spin layers that have great synergy with TT Bearing in Classic. But back to the point: I don't think Eternal or Eternal-S pose a threat in classic. From my testing, TT Eternal is susceptible to bursting against same spin Burst Attack combos like I2.H.X'. We just didn't see much variety in combos at today's tournament. Attack wasn't very prevalent and therefore, we didn't see Eternal's weakness exploited.
Ahh, you are correct, TT beating isn't banned.

I suppose I should try my attack layers more next time.

Yeah, but we really should do something about wolborg. I feel like if R can't make a dent in it and it has a ton and a half of stamina, it is too good. Or we should unban F4 (though we may do that anyway.
Nah, Wombat has a good point: Wolborg only excelled because everyone wasn't using attack layers.
offence is the best defence... i guess
