Participant Cap: 250 Players
Due to the limited amount of time available at Brooklyn Zoo (the organizers have until 6PM to finish), it has been decided to impose a participant cap on this event of 250 to ensure that the first stage at least can be successfully completed.
What this means is that anybody who is signed up on this thread (by hitting the "Join Tournament" button at the top of the page after logging in) up to the first 250 registered users will be given priority during registration to participate in the event.
If you do not sign up on this thread, it is possible you may not be able to participate in the tournament itself if enough of the participants signed up on this event page attend. But you will still be welcome to play in free play and meet the participating Youtubers!
If needed, the final stage will take place at Cooper Park just north of the venue. Details for this will be discussed with finalists when the time comes if it is needed.
We thank everyone for their incredible support of this event and for their understanding!
MUST READ: One Page Rules Overview
We have prepared an one-page rules overview document for this event. If you are planning to attend, you will be required to be familiar with all of the information within it:
A copy of this sheet will be given to each participant as they enter the venue, but we encourage you to familiarize yourselves with it now.
Tournament Time: Tournament Registration will be from 10:00AM – 11:15AM. Players who arrive after 11:15AM cannot join the tournament, but are welcome to participate in free play (which will run until 6PM). We will be starting the tournament at 11:30AM. It would be appreciated, however, if attendees would be there by at least 11:00AM earlier. We'd like to get the tournament done as soon as possible so please try to come on time. If you come late you will not be able to play.
Entry Fees: Tournament entry will cost $10 dollars a person ($5 WBO Entry Fee, $5 Brooklyn Zoo Venue Fee). If you have a Blader Passport however, entry will be only $5. The Blader Passport grants you entrance to all WBO tournaments for an entire year. How cool is that! As you know it allows you to enter any tournament for the next year without paying the fee, as well as giving you the chance to participate in whatever contests or giveaways the WBO may offer.
Side Note: Please, PLEASE, PLEASE keep a hold on each and every part you own. We'd like to avoid thefts of all types, from Beyblades to game systems and laptops. Keep all your personal belongings close to your person at all times; do not leave them hanging around, as they are YOUR responsibility, and the tournament staff cannot be held liable for thefts.
Have your Account page open during registration. Participants being registered to the tournament must login to their accounts on any device able to access the profile page prior to registration in order to prove they are the account owner and to ensure their username is accurately transcribed. Alternatively, you can bring a printed copy of your account page to show the tournament host during registration.
All players must arrive on-time: If you do not arrive at the scheduled start time, you risk being excluded from the tournament. The software we use to run our events–Challonge–does not allow us to add in extra participants once the tournament has started.
For Parents: Depending on the turnout, expected to be more than 200 players this time around it may take up to 7 hours to complete this tournament. Please clear your entire schedule for this tournament don't expect it to be a short run tournament. If unable we advise them to join just for free play for a couple hours. As a reminder leaving the tournament early means your child will end up losing all his matches to the remainder of the matches.

Hi Everyone, I just joined this tournament and purchased the passport, but my passport is not showing anywhere yet. Should I print out my profile and payment receipt and come earlier? Thanks
IT IS TIME TO SHOW EVERYONE WHAT WE HAVE GOT

Hey there, if you bring a printed copy of your receipt or show the email confirmation from Paypal, that would be sufficient! No need to come earlier than normal for registration.
Passports are awarded manually at the moment and usually take at least a few weeks to show up, unfortunately.

That was a really fun tournament. Thank you to everyone who put it on and Happy B-Day Sniper!
I was there, lost two in a row, but It was really meaningful to me when someone saw my name tag and said, "Wow, you are The Lego Detective? I'm a big fan of your YouTube channel!" After we left, my dad took me and my friend out for pizza, and there was a kid there who was obviously from the brawl because he had a sealed super Z beyblade (didn't see which one), and we said hello to him, and after leaving I heard him say to his dad "Daddy that was Lego Detective I've heard of him before!" The kid seemed to be only 8 or 9. Honestly, just meeting fans of my channel, and being considered a Beytuber by some people was worth losing twice without a single win. I hope that by the next Beytuber brawl or something of the sort, I'll be one of the Beytubers who people are looking to see! That may be a bit far-fetched, but I've set myself a goal, and by promising myself to buy more Beyblades and make more videos, I think I can do it! Overall, even though I did terribly it was very fun hanging out with all of you in a hot, cramped, and blader filled room today!
Today's tournament was really nice and thank you Sniper for hosting this tournament...and happy birthday!
It was very exciting to meet all the Beytubers, and off course my friends!!!

Great event. My first major tournament. Though I’ve otherwise only done 2 local ones before this.
I think I got pretty far into it but don’t know where I placed. I am hoping top 10. Is there a way to find out? Sorry if this is common knowledge. I feel like a newbie even though I’ve been a Beyblader for more than a year now.

Yeah, the wbo uses a website called challonge for tournaments, I’ve attached the Link to this tournament.

Looks like you made 29th, that’s actually still really good! Congratulations!
Overall the event went great. I had a lot of fun meeting other fellow Beytubers and fans. Lots of battles and craziness!!! I got to give props to the WBO crew out there that got the event going smoothly despite the heat and number of people.
Sadly my cameraman/brother left early so I got little to no footage.
Once again, it was an awesome experience and I hope we can do something like this again.
