Thanks so much to Hasbro for these prizes they've donated for Beyblade North 2017! Come compete with us for your chance to win prizes not only by placing in tournaments, but by entering contests and random giveaways all weekend (throughout Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at all of our events during Anime North), too!
Can't attend Beyblade North? No sweat! We'll be distributing prizes to visiting tournament organizers who can attend, so the Beyblades can be won at tournaments back home.
SIDE NOTES
No Bey? No prob!: Don't have any Beyblades? No problem! We would be happy to lend a Beyblade and launcher to you to use at each of your matches!
Please be aware of your belongings: We'd advise users to please, please look after your stuff. While yes this is a Beyblade tournament and we're not suggesting that any of us would attempt to take each other's stuff it is still happening at a public venue where other people (who may not be so friendly) are going to be present as well. Of course, if you see a personal belonging lying around bring it up any of the judges so we can return it to the right person. Your co-operation is appreciated!
All players must arrive on-time: If you do not arrive at the scheduled start time, you risk being excluded from the tournament. The software we use to run our events–Challonge–does not allow us to add in extra participants once the tournament has started.
If you know in advance that you will be late, please post in this thread or contact someone at the event and depending on the circumstances we can perhaps still include you if we know you will arrive soon.
All questions for this tournament may be asked in this thread!

Hey there! Unfortunately, this is not legal. If you need an extra grip, you would have to use the official Beyblade Burst Launcher Grip or Karabiner Grip. Alternatively, attaching a BeyLogger to your Launcher or using the Sword Launcher are an option too.
You can find a complete list of Burst Format rules here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1kg58...sp=sharing
and here's the finals
If everyone could check whether they or their kids have those in their collection, I would really aporeciate it. At this point, it repulses me from buying or playing Burst even more... And I am very sure that they were still on the table by the time we got to the finals.

Other than that and the usual new players who drop out mid-tournament at AN ... it was such a great event! Really fascinating to see how the metagame is developing now. More thoughts and coverage forthcoming after this weekend has passed, but for now here is a quick gallery of photos from Day 2 at BEYBLADE NORTH! https://instagram.com/p/BUn-TCEgeY6/

Canada, the US, and the UK all represented in the top four! Now that's cool.
Please note, there may be a few battles missing here and there that were voided due to participants who dropped during the tournament.
