So I've participated recently in a local tournament and mentally noted commonly used competitive combos and decided to see if gF can actually do some damage and get a place in the meta. I wanted to see how well it would perform with its stock Driver while changing up the Disks and/or Frames in an effort to see LAD effects with each pairing. Here's my setup:
- Black Standard Beyblade Burst Stadium
- 2 Red LR Beylaunchers (practice launchers since October 2018, so the white parts on the prongs may already have worn a bit); each dedicated for left and right spin respectively; Left spin only has the standard launcher grip with metal grip on the front and rubber grip on the back; Right spin has Beylogger+, power trigger, same grips as Left spin, 2 weight dampers
- all tests are done 20 each and will indicate if draws had to be redone or why less than 20 rounds
- all Chouzetsu Beys compatible with Level Chips are equipped with those
- I gave away my 8' to my gf since I felt it wasn't going to be as great as 8... I might get testing done when I borrow it soon
- Disks and Frames to be used: Jerk, Polish, Yell, 3, 5, 7, 8, 0, Flow, Glaive, Bump, Cross, Star, Meteor, Lift

Input: I didn't pursue further in this matchup since it is apparent that hS wins just by weight of Layer alone. Absorb's erratic movements at hard launches do incur risk of Self Over Finishes unless you're lucky that it hits the wall for a Bound Attack instead.

Input: I did the 20 rounds this time since it seems that Yell Disk, being a LAD beast back during the Single Layer era, seems to show some potential. It looked like it was winning LAD against 7Proof combo but the weight difference may have tilted the advantages to hS. Absorb really is quite random, and you have to really find the best sliding shoot power to maximize both the spin time and hitting power (for same spin at least), as this gF combo relied heavily on OWD and LAD since it worked quite well on destabilizing hS every time it won by SF. (Edit: I effed up the rounds and ended it only with 19. Fixed it until 20)

Input: This actually surprised me, especially the Burst which was probably a fluke, but still. It still was working as a good destabilizer against hS, probably because Xt+ is not free-spinning. When gF makes hS tilt enough, the Frame hits hS hard to push it back and lose more stamina. And it had good LAD even though it was just a Glaive.

Input: It may seem that the design of Cross upsets the balance provided by Glaive from previous testing, and that having 2 more contact points look more disadvantageous for destabilizing (since more contact points disperse the strength of hits). Overall, it may make heavier Layers be more balanced, but it doesn't seem to work on gF due to having odd-numbered contact points.

Input: I'm puzzled with the results, especially with how the Frame made such a huge difference from Cross earlier, making my assumption of having lesser contact points is better as incorrect. It may be because of the design of the Frame itself that provided a more solid wall for hS to ram to and cause more stamina loss. Balance-wise, it made gF more wobbly than Glaive, but still sturdier than Cross
