You should've used Attack Mode, there is so much less recoil..

So, Attack Mode is better in general? Is its Stamina affected at all? Based on some of the results I see in the OP, Attack Mode seems to be much worse.

Strangely, when battled against each other with mirror parts, Scythe will most likely take the win. I have a strong feeling that Scythe mw is very sensitive to height difference for its contact points.

I did a lot of testing the night before the tournament, but not any straight up Scythe vs. Phantom Stamina battles because the results I had been reading were so heavily in Phantom's favour ... it was really odd. :S Now, check this out:

There was no contest whatsoever. Phantom was dominant. It was the complete opposite of the result I encountered yesterday ... I hate unexplainable variance like this. And here's a few more quick tests:

Rock Leone obviously would attack the underside of Phantom, which pretty much destablized it, so that's where the OS' came in, seeing as if it hit it enough, Phantom would floor scrape. Just a little bit of randomness... not sure how much, if any, better TH170 would do, since I do not own the part.

OK... so I went with a stamina set-up with an RF for two reasons, a) to increase RPM's by having all the weight/power on the edge, b) give the combo longer legs so to speak, increase stamina, for barrage style attacks... the result is an EXTREMELY fast RF combo that acts strangely like XF with grip... AND it moves so fast it easily KO's Basalt BD... KO's people!!! Never thought, but yeah try that shee-ieght.. and when it doesn't hit hard right away, it jabs the carp out of it until it destabilizes... try and enjoy!

I seem to be having better luck with Attack testing in Attack mode, so to verify, this is Attack mode, and this is Stamina mode, right?

I honestly cannot see any current wheel at 90 height KO Basalt Kerbecs BD145CS/MB with MF of all tips unless this CS is extremely aggressive. Unless somehow someone overlooked its absurd amount of recoil (having to be larger than VariAres or Blitz) with its insurmountable stamina, assuming having the two is possible in a single wheel. Even with its mode change it is ridiculously impossible..

MF never KO'd Basalt BD145CS, it always won by out spin...

I tried CH120 for awhile, and realized halfway through the testing that it was sucking, so I stopped there with 2 KO's on Phantom's part, and 9 SO's with Basalt. Also, done with the S130 tests, and these are the results:

Just like to bring up some observations about phantoms attack capabilities. Phantom has a decent amount of smash but less then things like Beat , VariAres and Blitz although it is way more reliable then Beat in terms of recoil and all.

OK! Its official, this combo is extremely a BEAST. Beastly balance combo. RDF as defense/attack, Phantom for stamina and defense, TH170 for attack, defense and stamina.

Can I request Phantom BD145EDS vs Scythe BD145EDS.

Just a small nitpick, but it seems you copy and pasted the same parts throughout, haha. Other than that, really interesting and useful results. Stamina testing is notoriously dull, so props.

Does anyone else feel that having 2 people in a test should be standard for stamina? Anything else completely skews results badly. I mean, it could turn out completely different when another person joins ship.

Phantom looks like it won't just trump Basalt in Stamina, but even Scythe. Good news for me at least, I don't necessarily want Basalt banned right now. (That opinion could easily change, though..)

Seems that Phantom can knockdown Scythe to be the greatest stamina wheel.

Does Attack mode have any attack potential? It seems it does high damage in stamina mode, hitting someone under it....

Depends on how you flip the wheel. The contact points for attack in Phantom is actually on the top/bottom of the MW, not the side (depending on mode).

I'd like to see attack tests. Even though I have em, I'll be away so I cant really do formal testing over the weeked ^^;;

Can someone do Defense tests? Phantom has decent weight...

Phantom looks like it won't just trump Basalt in Stamina, but even Scythe. Good news for me at least, I don't necessarily want Basalt banned right now. (That opinion could easily change, though..)

MY GOD i am loving Phantom. it has so far DOMINATED basalt. if u guys want u can request solo spin times. i also beleive basalt with B creates a life after death like ability. i have also heard that basalt can ruin B's bearings so a i was a little hesitant doing these tests

I don't immediately see how it could do so (Basalt messing up B:D), but I'm thinking if we get a couple more tests supporting Phantom>All current Stamina wheels, and Basalt it could go on the top-tier list.

Though for some reason I figured B:D would be wayyyyyyyy better than what it is showing.
