Let me change my tone, I kinda posted that with an offensive tone, sorry. My reasoning to why this should not be added is because Phantom___ 90MF does everything this combo does but better, This has a tad more defense though, Phantom___90MF actually has a chance to KO Reviser Dragooon SA165EWD. And asI previously stated MF is tall for 230. These are only a few of my reasons, but as Kia Hiwatari said there is nothing ground breaking.

@*Ginga*and ShinobuXD, Kai is right though, he never stated anything about Gryph Gryph 85GF (which personally I love) so there is no need to say is was annoying, I havent even seen posts where he has said anything wrong.

I was referring to Azl.

A metal tipped combo beating an attacker sounds like bad launching. No offense Kyler.

Yeah it was surprising, but it was mainly luck, because it would circle, and when wyvang flowered it would end up making some contact, and other times it would make full contact and KO.

By the way e230's main focus was to take most of the blows in the final rotations of battle, and not lose as much stamina.

Alright, most of the things on the to test list have already been tested since it was written in March, so IMO, we should try to get (more) tests done for...

1) Balro Balro CH120R2F - Done
2) Duo ____ TH170TB
3)Duo Aquario SR200TB
4) Genbull Genbull TH170TB - Done
5) Duo Cygnus 160PD
6) Phantom ____ TH170TB
7) Reviser Dragooon SA165RDF
8) MF-L Phantom Cygnus 85MF
9) Genbull Genbull SR200TB

These are the only combos going on to the new list that don't actually have confirmed test results.
I can take Genbull Genbull/ Duo SR200/TH170TB. I can't confirm tests for Balro Balro CH120R2F or Reviser Dragooon SA165RDF (Duh Tongue_out), so if someone could do those it'd be great Smile

I'll try to call up Ingulit today, so we just need to get all these tests done. I would post them here if we're allowed, just for the sake of not reviving some really old threads... Smile

I believe I did Balro Balro CH120 R2F. You can see its thread.

Revizer Dragooon SA165 RDF is a beast for stamina, and worlds better than EWD with a worn RDF IMO. I'll def. try to do this.

Oh, you're right! Smile I didn't see your tests in the thread... alright, I'll scratch that off the list.

Anyway, I spent this morning testing Genbull Genbull TH170TB non-stop, and I got a pretty decent ammount done:

Does Genbull Genbull only perform well on TH170 and SR120TB Stamina customs? Has it been mirror tested against already top-tier Duo and Phantom Stamina combos much at all?

I believe it was here, but it didn't do too well, and I've found ti to be much more effective on TB/MB/CS (yes, it's actually pretty nice on MB).
It's not too great on D or SD from my informal testing, but on CS, MB, and TB, it's a complete boss. The only problem with that is Dragooon will most likely always pose a threat to it. :\

Launchers: left spin string for Dragooon & Light Launcher 2 for all right spin beys
Launch style: standard. Alternated launching each round.
Duo Cancer W145 BWD vs Reviser Dragooon SA165 RDF
Duo: 15/20 wins (all OS)
Dragooon: 5/20 wins (all KO)
Dragooon win rate: 25%

Phantom Kerbecs 230 SD vs Reviser Dragooon SA165 RDF
Phantom: 0/10
Dragooon: 10/10 (5 OS, 5 KO)
Dragooon win rate: 100%

Death Bull W145 D vs Reviser Dragooon SA165 RDF
Death: 12 (all OS)

Eh... New RDF is not great for this combo... You want a worn-ish one, like maybe 2/3 the height of a mint one Smile

What bottom was on death bull? also isn't using an LL2 kind of a disadvantage? I guess it shows the ineffectiveness of dagooon though against these combos.

Nah, doesn't really make a huge difference imo & the length of the string with my L/R string launcher has shortened from overuse. I use LL2 for right spin in tournaments because I can get a stronger launch out of it than with a string. If anything, I think the fact that my RDF wasn't completely broken in would alter the results more than anything else. I'm not too surprised though; Dragooon isn't my favorite for stamina & Duo & Death are pretty anti-spin steal.

We need lists!

So we've been talking for many pages about so many individual customs or topics, but we haven't had any drafting of lists take place! It can be helpful to get an idea of what everyone thinks the competitive list should look like, and to that end I have a proposal: to those of you who have the time to write a fairly detailed list, post your own current competitive list with explanations! We could then comment on/critique the lists that are posted, and hopefully gravitate toward a single list that most of us agree upon. Just remember to follow the rules of the thread--namely that you need to have evidence/support for anything you put in your list--and we can really get this ball rolling!

Here is an example of a list I proposed a long while back for style reference. This list is by no means up to date, this is just here if anyone needs one idea of how a list could be formatted. Your list doesn't have to be quite as detailed as this, but the more you can explain, the better!

I disagree with Dragooon SA165RDF, I think it should be Dragooon Revizer BD145RDF, and I disagree with bahamida Dragooon SP230GF, also Gryph^2 needs more tests.

Why Dragooon Reviser? Then there is no pint of Dragooon being there, spin stealing. Dragooon SA165RDF has a lot of good numbers for tests compared to Dragooon SA165EWD(sorry Ingulit!)even though SA165EWD is still great. Bahamdia Dragooon SP230GF and Gryph E230BSF need more tests(at least updated). Now, I know this is a little early for Balro Balro but... I think it deserves a spot on the tier list(W145WSF FYI), from my tests, it can outspin much more things unlike Flash W145MF, so yeah Tongue_out
