Grand BeyDay
Battle of the Millenium!

Will have 15 lbs of Pulled Chicken in crock pots to feed everybody and I bought 2 cases of water. If you would like to bring a bag of chips or something that would be very appreciated. Hope we have a great time.

MAJOR SITE CHANGE
Now at Millenium Park!
With a new forecast of 60% chance of Thunderstorms, combined with construction around the picnic shelter at John Ball Park closing the parking lot near it... I decided to move it to Millenium Park. The Shelters are currently all open, so this is my new plan. I am very sorry for any inconvenience.

Please Read and be familiar with WBO Standard Rules
Zero-G beyblades are now legal!

Place:
Millenium Park Picnic Shelter A (just up the road from John Ball Park) Map to Millenium Park There is no exit for Butternut Dr so either take the Fulton exit and drive around John Ball Park to Butternut to Millenium or take The Wilson exit and just when you cross the river take a right in front of Johnson Park and follow Veterans Memorial Drive around to Maynard.
Grand Rapids, MI

Date:
Saturday May 26 2012
Time:
Registration and new bladers beyblade inspection from
@ 11:00am-12:15pm
Bladers rules review meeting and registration cutoff @12:30
Tournament starts somewhere between 12:45-1:00pm

Format:
13-24 would be block Round Robin (this is what I'm hoping for, 24 bladers = 4 blocks of 6, so there is no 0-2s and you're done like in Double Elimination), if we do get (which we might) 25 - 40 bladers, it'll be Double Elimination. All the previous is for the main event. Block Round Robin, we will take the winner of each block. and Double Elimination will take care of itself. Seedings will go by Beypoints the member has.

Surfaces:
As long as it's not wet on the ground I want to do it on blankets on the grass. If it is wet at all there will be picnic tables we'll cover with blankets and foam pads I have. The Picnic tables are above grass so no concrete to worry about.

Fees:
Standard WBO fees $5 for entry, $10 for passport.
If you're getting a blader passport please get it before the tournament if possible.

Prizes: 1st Place = Zero-G Start Dash Set (stadium + Red Samurai Ifriad) and Zero-G grip
2nd and 3rd choice of selection of Takara Tomy products:
Winged Pegasis
Guardian L-Drago
Diablo Nemesis
Big Bang Pegasis
Flash Sagittario
Samurai Ifraid
Vulcan Horuseus
(Hasbro)

Do I need to change the title in the Upcoming Events box ... ?
I'll be coming with my 2 brothers. One doesn't have a WBO account. Le bro #2 is Mister Axolotl.
got you 2 on the list, if you could please make an account for your brother before the tournament and sign him up here. Otherwise I have to make one at the tournament for him anyways, and sometimes the email addresses can get screwed up so I'd really prefer if you did it. Thank you
Okay, I'll get an account set up for him. I'll post an update once he's all set up (He's not here right now, since he's at school)
Ok thank you, that's awesome.

Hope the weather holds out Millennium Park is amazing. This is going to be fun no matter what though!
Okay, just got his account set up. His userame is, unfourtunately, BasaltSpam.

Of course, given that it is his only decent bey, I suppose that's reasonable.

EDIT: Moar grammar troubles. I should really proofread better.
Wooo looking at the UP TO DATE POINTS if we were seeding into blocks I'd be the lowest #2 seed so I'd be with PANAsher! and Kalen
Then it would be the girls group of B-aWINnah! and AMARvelous
Sagittario-Fire and Fang Wolf (only if he changes his account back to Orionpegasis14 so he can claim his beypoints! otherwise he's seed #15!)
Yuko Ray14 and LBladerAJ (wow I didn't realize you did that good at Farmington Hills GOOD JOB!)
We are new to this. My son has recently gotten into beyblading. He's almost 7 years old. We are coming to your event tomorrow at Millenium Park. Can he be part of the tournament? Are there different age groups?
Yes he's more than welcome. But no they're are no age groups we have kids from as young as 6 to adults in their 30's competing and at the last event one of the 30 year olds went 2 and out, so age doesn't matter hardly at all. Just try to go over the rules with him and I always review the key points before the tournament starts..
Will have food! Pulled chicken sandwiches. 15 lbs worth geesh!
Pray for great weather, the park is worth staying the whole day.
ooooweeeee! it is raining here!!

we'll see ya, in GRAND RAPIDS!!!

Who will take down TEAM WRETCHED???
Got some T-storms on there way but we're already at the park and have a shelter so no worries people!
Do you want me to bring my stadium
