Grand BeyDay
Battle of the Millenium!

Will have 15 lbs of Pulled Chicken in crock pots to feed everybody and I bought 2 cases of water. If you would like to bring a bag of chips or something that would be very appreciated. Hope we have a great time.

MAJOR SITE CHANGE
Now at Millenium Park!
With a new forecast of 60% chance of Thunderstorms, combined with construction around the picnic shelter at John Ball Park closing the parking lot near it... I decided to move it to Millenium Park. The Shelters are currently all open, so this is my new plan. I am very sorry for any inconvenience.

Please Read and be familiar with WBO Standard Rules
Zero-G beyblades are now legal!

Place:
Millenium Park Picnic Shelter A (just up the road from John Ball Park) Map to Millenium Park There is no exit for Butternut Dr so either take the Fulton exit and drive around John Ball Park to Butternut to Millenium or take The Wilson exit and just when you cross the river take a right in front of Johnson Park and follow Veterans Memorial Drive around to Maynard.
Grand Rapids, MI

Date:
Saturday May 26 2012
Time:
Registration and new bladers beyblade inspection from
@ 11:00am-12:15pm
Bladers rules review meeting and registration cutoff @12:30
Tournament starts somewhere between 12:45-1:00pm

Format:
13-24 would be block Round Robin (this is what I'm hoping for, 24 bladers = 4 blocks of 6, so there is no 0-2s and you're done like in Double Elimination), if we do get (which we might) 25 - 40 bladers, it'll be Double Elimination. All the previous is for the main event. Block Round Robin, we will take the winner of each block. and Double Elimination will take care of itself. Seedings will go by Beypoints the member has.

Surfaces:
As long as it's not wet on the ground I want to do it on blankets on the grass. If it is wet at all there will be picnic tables we'll cover with blankets and foam pads I have. The Picnic tables are above grass so no concrete to worry about.

Fees:
Standard WBO fees $5 for entry, $10 for passport.
If you're getting a blader passport please get it before the tournament if possible.

Prizes: 1st Place = Zero-G Start Dash Set (stadium + Red Samurai Ifriad) and Zero-G grip
2nd and 3rd choice of selection of Takara Tomy products:
Winged Pegasis
Guardian L-Drago
Diablo Nemesis
Big Bang Pegasis
Flash Sagittario
Samurai Ifraid
Vulcan Horuseus
(Hasbro)

Klaus i will buy a lr launcher from u
K sounds good, I'm bringing 6. I am kind of reserving 4 for the Legend Bladers. The beys I'll be selling will be what's left after people pick their prizes. So no beys will be sold till later.. well actually I should (if Jaygrazer gets off his butt and sends my STUFF!) have a couple Flashes and Samurais so those will be available earlier.
(May. 13, 2012  3:44 AM)Klaus Wrote: Hey guys, let's look out for each other. I believe there are a few bladers on the possible attendees list that can't make it unless they get a ride, like PattyCakeChamp from the Detroit area. If you have an open seat in your car lets help each other out and give them a ride if at all possible. And bladers if you get a ride from somebody please be super appreciative! Thanks guys, I want this to be the best tournament of the year!
(UNTIL NEXT MONTH! Always learning, Always improving!)
but I want this to be big for beydays I want to have more people at our tournament than any other in the world! Lets make it happen!

Haha thanks Klaus ! I was thinking about having one on the 27th but I can't host it would be too hectic. I was going to ask DaWretched but I have a feeling he has enough people to drive out there ! Lol
Hey Klaus, do you know how to fix a LR Launcher?
yuko ray14 what mode is phantom orion going to be in
Liluno please PM him for these messages. This thread is to discuss tournament related events. and of course Phantoms best mode for anything is stamina.... but please stop this conversation on here between you two.
I'M COMING............
i might be able to come
Anybody want to do a side tournament in a Tornado attack stadium? Double elimination. $10 a bladers only if we have 10 bladers minimum. Winner takes home a New In Box Tornado attack stadium!
i cant wait i will be there
yea lets do the side tourny wow klaus you are doing a good job at promoting this tourny you rock bro!
Glad you can confirm Libraten!

Ok guys we are over half way to the cutoff for the official tournament! 40 participants is where the cutoff is, that's where Arupaeo told me it should be given our situation.
If you are just on the possible attendees list PLEASE FIGURE OUT IF YOU'RE GOING TO BE THERE. Then let me know if you are or aren't. That way you don't get left out. If it does fill up I'll be willing to print off a bracket that any extras can participate in but it will not be for the prizes, or beypoints or entered into the bey lotto. So Please Confirm if you're coming!
would blader passport work for the side tournament?
i want to battle in the tornado stadium

No, this has nothing to do with that at all. $10 cash gets you in for a chance to win the stadium.

@Liluno can you please turn on your Private Messaging. are you able enter both events? That's a total of $15 or $20 if you get a passport.
fang wolf and i will do it
Remember the side tournament is an extra $10 it has nothing to do with the WBO just an extra event to win the stadium and help me cover the costs of all the prizes I'm providing, that's why I need 10 bladers just to cover the cost of the Tornado Stadium.

So you need $5 for the entrance OR $10 for blader passport for the main event. Then if you want to do the Tornado Stadium battle that's $10 for a chance to win a Tornado Stadium.
So if you would win both events you could go home with a NIB Zero-G Start Dash Set (including stadium) and a NIB Tornado Attack Stadium!
How much would a new LR Launcher be?
$12 or 2 for $20
Yuko Ray wants one too so seeing youre on the same team, you could buy them together and each save $2 if you do get them.
