Participant Cap: 250 Players
Due to the limited amount of time available at Brooklyn Zoo (the organizers have until 6PM to finish), it has been decided to impose a participant cap on this event of 250 to ensure that the first stage at least can be successfully completed.

What this means is that anybody who is signed up on this thread (by hitting the "Join Tournament" button at the top of the page after logging in) up to the first 250 registered users will be given priority during registration to participate in the event.

If you do not sign up on this thread, it is possible you may not be able to participate in the tournament itself if enough of the participants signed up on this event page attend. But you will still be welcome to play in free play and meet the participating Youtubers!

If needed, the final stage will take place at Cooper Park just north of the venue. Details for this will be discussed with finalists when the time comes if it is needed.

We thank everyone for their incredible support of this event and for their understanding!

MUST READ: One Page Rules Overview
We have prepared an one-page rules overview document for this event. If you are planning to attend, you will be required to be familiar with all of the information within it:

A copy of this sheet will be given to each participant as they enter the venue, but we encourage you to familiarize yourselves with it now.

Tournament Time: Tournament Registration will be from 10:00AM – 11:15AM. Players who arrive after 11:15AM cannot join the tournament, but are welcome to participate in free play (which will run until 6PM). We will be starting the tournament at 11:30AM. It would be appreciated, however, if attendees would be there by at least 11:00AM earlier. We'd like to get the tournament done as soon as possible so please try to come on time. If you come late you will not be able to play.

Entry Fees: Tournament entry will cost $10 dollars a person ($5 WBO Entry Fee, $5 Brooklyn Zoo Venue Fee). If you have a Blader Passport however, entry will be only $5. The Blader Passport grants you entrance to all WBO tournaments for an entire year. How cool is that! As you know it allows you to enter any tournament for the next year without paying the fee, as well as giving you the chance to participate in whatever contests or giveaways the WBO may offer.

Side Note: Please, PLEASE, PLEASE keep a hold on each and every part you own. We'd like to avoid thefts of all types, from Beyblades to game systems and laptops. Keep all your personal belongings close to your person at all times; do not leave them hanging around, as they are YOUR responsibility, and the tournament staff cannot be held liable for thefts.

Have your Account page open during registration. Participants being registered to the tournament must login to their accounts on any device able to access the profile page prior to registration in order to prove they are the account owner and to ensure their username is accurately transcribed. Alternatively, you can bring a printed copy of your account page to show the tournament host during registration.

All players must arrive on-time: If you do not arrive at the scheduled start time, you risk being excluded from the tournament. The software we use to run our events–Challonge–does not allow us to add in extra participants once the tournament has started.

For Parents: Depending on the turnout, expected to be more than 200 players this time around it may take up to 7 hours to complete this tournament. Please clear your entire schedule for this tournament don't expect it to be a short run tournament. If unable we advise them to join just for free play for a couple hours. As a reminder leaving the tournament early means your child will end up losing all his matches to the remainder of the matches.

Eh, not really.

If anyone is selling a strong TT launcher, I need one. I've broken 3 hasbro dual threat launchers and my walmart is getting annoyed that I keep returning them. Also a grip would be nice.
damn I can't come

Be prepared. Now that I have Spryzen requeim and the rest of wave 4, I'm sure to do a lot better than I did at the last tournament

Um ya but  spryzen r4 is banned
It actually says taraka tomy Spriggan Requiem is banned because hasbro just realeased Spriggan s4 so no one can really do testing

No, and its not spryzen r4, its spryzen s3
Then what is legend Spriggan s2 that is storm Spriggan

Legend Spryzen is also Spryzen S3. Most people say Legend Spryzen S3 though
At today's Toronto tourney Kei mentioned in the banned parts of the rules that spryzen requiem s3 is actually banned.

No, the hasbro one shouldn't be banned. Also, its not spryzen r4, its spryzen requeim S3.

Dang it. Well, at least we won't have It being spammed all the time.

Do you think that the hasbro bearing is going to be banned? It doesn't have a weak spring and it is made of POM, so it works on pretty much anything.
All I have to say about what you just said about bearing is. Lol.

Honestly, it does work on anything pretty much. I've tried X3, V3, C3 (Caynox), C3 (Cognite), R3 (Roctavor), F3, S3 (Satomb), S3 (spryzen), L3, J3 and W3. If Br doesn't make it super good, it makes it decent. I don't have N3 yet, but I'm pretty sure it would be good on bearing considering that N3 is an all around great layer from what I've heard. Basically it's amazing. And I know that G3 is banned, but G3 on Br is just about the most OP thing I've ever seen.
Logistics Question for Sniper and the organizing crew:

Since there will be about 200 Bladers, and about as many parents, how will the tournament be set up? Does the software allow for different brackets? ie: Can there be 50 players per floor and then semi finals and finals are condensed into one place?

Yer_Daddy and I are trained as Fire Guards, and work in theatre. It's in our job descriptions to think about safety. At the last Brooklyn tournament there was one single exit to a flight of stairs, and the tournament area was being blocked by parents in chairs who had never heard of the Triangle Shirtwaist Fire, and no clue about why blocking the one exit wasn't safe.

How will players be announced? Is there a PA system? Should I bring one? A Megaphone?
All I can answer is the last part lol, but we do have a mic with speakers so that should be fine.
Hoping its better than the last Brooklyn tournament...please
There is one staircase exit. We can make sure that it isn't blocked.

What happened last time? Did something go wrong?

I'll be bringing my Bluetooth outside boombox so we can listen to some BeyBlade music

Also thank you everyone we reached the mark 200 players now I don't have to buy ilinnuc a ice cream cone

I will be also bringing Dranzer Titan 2005 and the super Z version 2018 for free play to anyone that's interested in battling it
I'd love to be able to attend! I've been a fan for years since Metal Fight and this would be my first experience meeting other Beyblade Fans! I've only gotten into Burst just a few weeks ago though, so if anyone could help recommend me things to pick up please do so! I made a thread about this just recently with some questions! ^^
200 BLADERS! Oh my gosh, it finally happened!
Hey guys! Say hi to Mr. OldSchool for me ?
Good luck in your tournament!
