Size down the disc and give it a higher weight in the center to allow those good attacks with the disc and the layer combination, but allowing the Beyblade to maintain balance.

Is it an attack type or balance type?

Indeed it is sir. Based off of my favorite bey, Inferno Ifrit. 

My theory for the disc was that there would be 3 free-moving balls on each wing so that as high velocity, the balls would be closer to the outer circumference of the beyblade, increasing centrifugal force. Then as velocity decreases, the balls would move towards the center of the beyblade, increasing centripetal force.

In addition, I wanted to make the disc so that depending on the way the bey is assembled prior to battle, it starts off in "attack" or "defense" mode. Then as the beyblade clicks in battle, the beyblade will migrate from one mode to the other. 

Attack - The disc wings expose the primary contact points.
Defense - The disc wings cover the primary contact points

Also, any suggestions on the names as I'm still thinking of more. I'm currently on the layer being called "Aether Ifrit" and the disc being called "Dawn"

Also, I don't plan on the disc being any larger than the circumference of the blue triangle points on the layer.

I made two sketches of a 3d printed beyblades. One was a gt version and the other was cho-z both of their name had caelum in it but I cant figure the other part of their name

Regalia Armor

This is an Layer accessory similar to Bigbang Armor, which can be put on Mugen Lock (Infinity Lock) Beys like Prime Apocalypse and Regalia Genesis.
Since the details of Bigbang Armor was not revealed when I design this accessory, this is a little bit different with Bigbang Armor, that it would take off when the bey get huge hit, just like Revive Phoenix and Dead Phoenix. The performance is different as well. And even when the part is assembled, the burst risk is not 0, and there is still certain possibility of burst.

It looks...way too round to be an attack type, and it certainly is too round to be a Longinus. I would try and make the shape much more aggressive. Nice design though.
