Ah yeah it is, I thought that was the chassis. Double strike never really worked so I'm also glad. It would make sense for them to bring it back because every bey is some random nostalgia bait with reused gimmicks and parts but since double strike didn't even work I can see why they didn't bring it back.

Mhm, the metal is definitely an upgrade to the lackluster Double Strike gimmick (which wouldn't work in Sparking at all). Since it was lacking any metal in its last evolution, this feels like it's making up for it haha.
I think there's metal underneath the Hollow Ring. I'm not 100% certain, but one of the pages show underneath the Ring and it appears that it will have some metal. Either way, looks amazing!

I second this. Double Strike was useless, no questions asked.
Looks competitively viable I think, thats cool for competitive players, I'm thinking getting into competitive myself, or at least learning how to make good combos. This may be a good buy.....well Doomscizor at least. If the other beys are trash you might just wanna get the Doomscizor confirmed or it separately.
I don't have almost all of these beys so I'm just gonna get random boosters.

The only way Hollow could be good is in an unbalanced attack combo. No way will it be good for defense or stamina, and saying it could be good for attack is even a stretch. The metal scythe moving back and forth might actually make it worse.
Apparently there is no metal scythe and instead there is metal under the main blades.

There's metal under the big plastic scythe, but with 4A being like 1S but just all metal almost everywhere that should help balance things out.

Adding onto this there was another panel with focus on that smooth black scythe. I don’t know if that was to imply that it had another gimmick or was simply there to focus on the design of the scythe.

The metal sticks out alot there so the plastic doesn't even reach anything, its a full metal attack. This also means there's metal beneath the blades on the left and right sides, making it balanced.

Both spellings are correct normally. I simply went off of what Google Translate spit out when I double checked the name of the frame.

Deathscyther's shape has always been Upper Attack oriented on the black side and Smash Attack oriented on the clear side, so that might be what the panel referred to.

Right there does seem to be metal on both sides but that’s not the panel I’m talking about. I’m talking about the panel above that one with just the long black scyther.

Under it shows a prototype design I think, and to the right are single and dual layer Doomscizor. On the right page it shows it hitting Abyss Luinor with its black scythe both spinning. Next to that it shows each of the parts and that it for the small panels.

The design of Hollow Deathscyther feels very graceful, so fluent in a way, I really like it. The 4A's imbalanced shape could almost be an unintentional mode change with the Hollow base, when flipped 180°.
Hollow Valkyrie in green is a bit... ehhh for me, depends on what green it is. If it's mint green it would be cool.
Curse Deathscyther in those colours is just basically similar to the Kreis Satan in RBV9.
Dead Phoenix in red is AMAZING! I hoped it to be red and I got it. It will look great with Revive Phoenix's core stock colours. 2nd most wanted pull.
Abyss Longinus in that nice blue almost sells it for me. I don't have Abyss so this is my chance.
Purple Archer Hercules is great since it matches Ichika's unique purple Hercules. I'm hoping we get more, like Takane's green Ragnaruk.
Green Storm Pegasis makes me want it even less, eugh.
Red Draciel V sounds... okay, but again, not appealing for me.

I’m talking about the panel above the part that goes over the metal (the one with only the black scythe). The ring definitely has metal but I don’t think that black scythe in the top panel is metal itself.
