Ryota was purely meant as a season 1 side character. For all we know his treatment failed and he's dead.

jk. Well not in the anime at least. Hiro Morita could only pull off Ryota dying due to it being a bit more graphic than the anime.

It is a result of a poll. It happened in Japan. And yes it has been confirmed to be an attack type because that’s what this booster says. Vol. 23 random booster b-176 legend attack booster. But people in Japan voted on which attack type they wanted an evolution of in the top 15 bladers of the WBBA.

Not true, it was confirmed to be an attack type ever since it leaked. Additionally not all of the top 15 bladers own attack types. Of those who did, Lui, Drum, and Valt were already confirmed to get beys and therefore, I know for a fact there was no poll between Xcalibur and Deathscyther.

Not only that, some bladers form outside of the 15 Legends can also be voted for. Like Cognite and Knight.

Remember that this Random Booster never claimed it was owned by a Legendary Blader, nor was it labelled "Legend Attack-Type Bey" and since Daina was dropped out of the legendary rankings, it makes sense when you think about it.

Marutti said that because Xcalibur and Deathscyther were the most likely candidates, not because there was any confirmation and he even said that he believed it was Xcalibur. There was no poll to decide what bey would be in this booster and the poll you are thinking of was for a large amount of popular burst beys getting an evolution, not just attack types. Speaking of which, that poll isn’t even concluding until December.
