The panel only showed a picture of the black smooth scythe. The one you’re thinking of is the one that revealed it had metal. It’s still a possibility but I think it would have been split if it was pointing that out.

I don't have all the pictures, most of the stuff I'm saying is relayed from the WBO Discord server. If there is a panel that only shows the black scythe, all I can infer is that it's pointing out one of the key features of the Deathscyther line. The only gimmicks the stock Layer seems to have are the metal filling on the underside of the Ring and the 4A Chassis being slightly unbalanced as well as being wide enough to hit opposing Layers with its metal on certain setups.

BTW, holy carp the new Deathsyther looks sick! We're FINALLY getting an Attack Single Chassis, I'm surprised at High Accel' (I was expecting High Jaggy' or Hunter'), Even though 12 sucks, I think it's nice, that new Axe Frame looks like Flow and the Chip has an epic design on it.
Does someone here know the gimmick of the Single Chassis and Ring? I can't read Japanese...

I realized the single chassis is unbalanced because one side has more metal than the other to create more of a bigger hit on the main scythe
