I was thinking about something. I'm pretty sure durability is going to be a huge issue here, but it might be possible to make a wheel with two huge wings hinged in the middle. That way, before the match, you can lock it into a certain attack direction. It would be rather useful during HMS era, where spin direction could be freely selected: free selection of smash direction, or to have a defence shape, is convenient.

this is not how spinning tops work

no spinning tops work based on a physical equation known as angular momentum, what i said is how the blades move, not work.

No, that's not how they work. It really pisses me off when people come in and start quoting things they have no idea about.

Angular momentum is NOT a physical equation. It is a physical quantity that can be defined with an equation, and if blades are only about angular momentum, it would be horribly boring.

Angular momentum doesn't even come close to defining how blades WORK. All it does is give some contribution to how it moves.

If it's initially a thin stick, but goes PARP and bursts open in the battle, that would be so awesome.
I like this thread. (And wouldnt the umbrella opening all of a sudden make the beyblade go out of control or something like that?)

A circle wheel, covered is diagonoley pointing small notches.
would posting ideas about stadiums be off topic here?
No, go ahead!
what if they made a stadium like that one in the original season of beyblade were max challenged michael, you know, a baseball stadium beyblade stadium. minus the grass and durt. they could have that painted on or something. or even a stadium based off of a race track. like the indy 500 track.

how would these make the game better? Chief 2002 - Hmm ...

that track is boring as hell

go big on the 'ring, or go home (sabine! : swoon: )
I didn't say they would make the game better. they just be some different more creative and fun stadiums to blade in. that is what blading is about, having fun. and the indy 500 one could be like a racing arena where the two competitors could see who made it across the finish line first. to make the blades go forward it could have those one moving accelerator things that hot wheels tracks have to push the blade forward. to add more difficulty to the game they could make an obstacle stadium, like the one were rick faced eddie in g-revolution and it had all those huge hills in it.
beyblades don't move in straight lines fyi
that is why they would add the hot wheels like accelerators.
trueblader Wrote:that is why they would add the hot wheels like accelerators.

this would not make them move in a straight line, just slow them down or speed them up
uh

then where would the strategy be? you'd just have to be sure that you've got the lighter top
the blades would still be ablle to battle. and having the lighter top would not have the better advantage. a heavier blade would. a lighter blade would lose the quick acceleration from the accelerators faster than the heavier tops would.

no i mean accelerators on the ground, not the sides of the stadium.
i would like to have the stadium from like episode 5 where Max fought kai (it would add advantage to Endurance/Defence types that are skilled, if you aim at the top with one of thoise it would stay there unharmed, unless an attack knocked it out before the attack fell off, but if end/def dont land there they will hit the piller at the bottom and have a MAJOR disadvantage.)
that would be an awsome stadium imo.Joyful_3
Except to little kids (Kids tend to not train or anything, and only try to make the best beyblade. They are usually simple minded and will have attack beyblades too, lol...)

PS: Is the Red-Dot-Site Launcher any good, besides maybe in the stadium above?...

This is a terrible idea, the chances of the Beyblades not making contact are far too high ... and this isn't a cartoon, there's no way to get to the top if you don't land on it.

Gotruto, I don't think you're in a position to be calling people simple-minded ... especially since Defense Beyblades take a lot less skill than Attack Beyblades to use.
i would have to say no. the blade never lands where the red dot points. i don't even think it would work for that stadium. and i would know. i bought that thing and it was horrible. all it is is a flashlight in the end. it barely improves accuracy.

the stadium is for endurace/defense blades they don't need to be attacking eachother.

well jeez just shoot your beyblades in two separate stadiums if you want to play this way

seriously the point of survival is to keep spinning while being attacked, and defense is to take hits without moving, if you want to have a solo spin contest why even bother playing?

It would be smaller, of course, so it would be shorter and would be easier to land in. (Not to much smaller, you would still have to stand up). and i wouldnt know about attack beyblades, after all i have a hasbro stadium (All u have to do is hit a wall not-too-hardly on the launch, then it goes into the middle and swirves out atleast 3 times, which would be good for Smash beyblades.)

Do you have any idea how those work?
The two accelerator(sp?) wheels spin in different directions: the left one, counter-clockwise, the right one, clockwise. Putting a Beyblade through this would completely stop its spin.

LIke Brad said, this isn't the cartoon where you move your own beyblade around in straight lines and such. C'mon, you should be old enough to understand that the anime battles are complete BS.
I said on the ground, one accelerator going in the direction around the stadium. not two spinning in opposite directions, ofcourse that would stop the blade.

I doubt that would work. The spin velocities would be different and it probably hamper the Beyblade more than it would help.
