Has anyone else noticed that the variety in competitive combinations has decreased insanely over the last year and a half? At this point, it seems like everyone uses basically the exact same combinations with only slight differences if any. It seems that with the end of product releases the search/persuing of new exciting combos has come to a halt.

At this point, it seems like everyone uses basically the exact same combinations with only slight differences if any. It seems that with the end of product releases the search/persuing of new exciting combos has come to a halt.

IMO BDr is largely responsible for this by being very centralising and pushing a lot of more interesting options out of the picture. There are still some interesting combinations discussed on the discord though. There's a pretty broad range of options below bdr that at least provide some variety in stamina stuff possibly with some broader abilities.

I was super confused about this as well. They're referring to using the Hasbro + chip (which comes on union Achilles and allows 3 mode changes) and attaching it to a TT high Xtend driver. It's used for the same spin match-ups as far I could tell.
