This has been posted a few posts back. There are no upcoming Toys R Us Beybalde Event/Tournaments. This thread is getting slightly off topic.
You guys can't post here for just any tournament in your city/state/country. Search for the proper forums and ask all of your questions there.
At the Newington CT TRU location, the manger will be hosting an actual tournament. (Non-WBO, but non-WBBA/Hasbro)
There will be prizes, and registration starts at 2:00 PM.
This will only be at this location, since it is a local/his idea, so it's not like the previous ones.
I spoke with him today.

yes they are
I feel bad for bumping a thread; but I wanted to share my experience at a Toys R Us 'Tournament'.
My friend and I pull into Toys R Us and we called a day earlier about the tournament. We find a table set up and a random employee there. Multiple lame Hasbro stadiums and some stickers. No one came except 3 smaller kids that I utterly destroyed. (The kind with a a ripcord launcher and a non-sense combination...) At least they were nice kids. I taught them about customization and what they could do to improve their performance.
Got a few coupons; bought a Rev Up Launcher, left, and no prize ;-;
I actually told the employee to leave because she didn't do ANYTHING. All she did was loiter. I had to tell her that there was no point in her being here if there's no prize. So I at least got her to go work =_=.
Pretty BS in my area. Seems like you other guys had better; actual tournament feeling Tournaments. (imagine that..xD)

Like I said, she might not have been there to judge.
Btw who won? How was the tournament run with 5 people?

We just kinda battled. Then the kids left. The little girl basically stopped hers and thought she won, If I remember correctly.
In terms of who 'won'; me, because my friend just takes "Cool" parts and mixes them.
I've heard that in some toys r us tournaments, you aren't allowed to use your own combos. Instead, the workers there give you some stock Hasbro beys...
How do you even get in toys r us tourneys? i want free hasbro beys!
They aren't even in a BB-10 Attack Type Stadium, they are in weird Hasbro ones, also they have absolutely NO rules (besides age limits and the last bey spinning wins).

Like that stupid "FireBlaze stadium" with the grooves. UGH.
Or the Thunder Whip... I gave that away, it was so bad, and you can't even use your own combos. XD
If I went, I would probably be surrounded by a bunch of little kids at least 10 and younger. They would probably have bad combos too. I mean, I don't want to beat all of them and make them cry. That is if they would let us use our own combos.
