Wait, so let's say I have a qualifier in Illinois. I win, and get the paid trip. What would I do about a team? Would I have to make one with bladers from different parts of the continent? Because that wouldn't work in the long run.
I am getting my pass soon.
Gonna need to join a team. Apex isn't happening anymore

If you are a captain, you would have to stay on that team since you are a captain. If you aren't a captain, then you can be on any amount of teams (at separate times) you want.
Good thing I'll be in CT this March
Hopefully Leone19 & I can get a qualifier going while I'm there.

I have pretty much 0 chance of making this.
I'd have to win the NC qualifier, and even then it would take an insane amount of luck.
*SIGH* Another year on the sidelines.

To clarify: Captains may only lead one team in their lifetime, but they may choose to dissolve their team if they wish to join a new team as a regular member.
Yeah, you will. Though keep in mind that you can always find new teammates later for your team (if you captain a team at AN) or join a new team as a regular member (if you join a team as a regular member). Teams are also permitted to be larger than three members, so you could start a team in one place, and recruit additional members in another place. The main restriction is that a Team and it's Bladers may only play in one Team Event per month worldwide. You can find all of this in greater detail in the announcement thread: http://worldbeyblade.org/Thread-Introduc...on-9-27-14
Don't give up so easily!

Possible, please! I will be attending Anime North for the weekend, however there's no guarantee I will come to the tournament. I will try though,

Just wondering, why did the location of hotels change?

What else could you possibly want to do at AN besides play Beyblade?

Good question; I don't know. We've been at the Sheraton (formerly Renaissance) since 2008 so it was surprising when my contact told me the space we had this year. Maybe they are restructuring how AN Gaming is organized at the convention this year.
Holy cow, thanks to Kai-V and the other staff members lowering the minimum amount of bladers you need for a tournament, I might me able to send in an event proposal for a qualifier next week! One of us at Beyblade Squad might make it!
just sayin:
team ultimate blazing dragons will win!!!

By the way, if anyone has any ideas for more Beyblade-related side events feel free to post them here and I will consider them! The side events are going to be for fun, but we're also going to have a competitive structure to them where you can win prizes by accumulating 'points' through participating in them all, so keep that in mind.
I think an illegal customization side event would be neat. Just a bunch of parts not meant to be together going head to head
.

If it were in the format of a tournament, it would take up too much space and too many people at once to be a real side event like our other side events.
Possibly BeyBall? I know the Super Control Stadium ball isn't the greatest, but maybe a different one? Will try to work out the kinks if it is possible for BeyBall to be a side event

I think a MFB in a zero g stadium would be interesting
