Hello Everyone,

Especially to the mods, sorry for double posting.

THE PARTICIPANT CAP HAS BEEN RAISED TO 40!

This was suggested to me by TNS8's Head Organizer after he saw that the cap was reached before the New Year. After some discussion about timing and space, we got it approved. That's 8 more bladers!  The tournament will still be Swiss Format (6 Rounds).

Also, as an unofficial unsanctioned fun thing, after the First Stage, any eligible bladers left (that don't need to jet home right away Grin ) can compete in the 13 & Under bracket.  There will be prizes!

I will again tag anyone that has clicked 'JOIN TOURNAMENT' but have not confirmed that they signed up on the smash.gg page.  Again, please do not set yourself up for disappointment if you attend and find out you cannot participate.  Although, there will probably be lots of freeplay.

in the burst format rules it says that TT layers and drivers are illegal is this true

Then it said earlier that TT is allowed

Also, before, it said that to get into the building it was $5 now they are charging $20. I would like to bring my dad, mom and brother how much would I cost. Leading up to my first question what is the real price for the spectator passes.

Hello Kaic,

In regards to what you saw about the Burst Format rules, I think you have accidentally seen something that even my friends have thought.  The part where TT is banned is when it is a Hasbro ONLY Burst Format Tournament.

TNSB@TNS8 is WBO Burst Standard Format.  TT and Hasbro are allowed.  I recommend re-reviewing those sections for part legality.

Also, where are you seeing the Spectator Passes are $5 before being listed at $20? Since you are already entered, depending on how young your brother is you may need 2 ($40) or 3 ($60) Spectator Passes.
Ok thank you for answering my question. im very excited for the tournament

this is my first tournament

Maximum Garuda is not banned in WBO Burst Standard currently, as far as I know.

Regalia Genesis, Prime Apocalypse and Imperial Dragon are all allowed in WBO Burst Standard. All of these layers have been seen in Winning Combinations I believe.

Hello Everyone,

https://worldbeyblade.org/Thread-WBO-Org...re-BSC-Ban
Rule Update here, BST Deck KOs Now 1pt.

A week or so ago, the head of TNS8 evaluated the numbers we have generated and raised the cap once.  It filled very quickly.

Still, over the Christmas holiday I received a few more PMs about the tournament.

The head of TNS8 is raising our cap to 48 but this is now FINAL due to space and time limitations.  No more cap raises from here on out.

I still see that some people may not have signed up on smash.gg (LINK)

This will be a final call for people that have clicked 'Join Tournament' but may have not signed up on smash.gg or have not confirmed their username.  Please do not set yourself up for disappointment if you attend and find out you cannot participate.  Also, if there are still spots open, registration prices will rise to $55 total if you sign up after Jan 3rd.  Please review the original post for more information or ask me if something is not clear.

Yes, that is why you are not mentioned.
if a bey bounces into the pit/slot and comes back out is that counted as a over finish or spin finish.

If the Bey goes in and out of one of the stadium pockets after contact with the other Bey has been made, it's an Over Finish aka a Knock-Out. If the Bey goes in and out of one of the stadium pockets but no contact has been made with the other Bey, the battle continues.
Guys! We are capped! We cannot open the tournament up any more unfortunately.

See you there and please message me if you have any questions!
What if there is no contact and the bey goes out into the pit
(Jan. 02, 2020  5:37 PM)Kaic Wrote: What if there is no contact and the bey goes out into the pit
If there's no contact and the Bey goes into the stadium pocket but doesn't come out, that's a Self-Knock-Out, which gives a point to the opponent.
I am so excited. This will be so much fun

I have never acutely battled anybody except my brother so this will be new for me
Is the tournament full? If so, is it possible for a 10 year old to still particpate in the under 13 tournament?

What made you think this had an age limit? This tournament is for all ages!

I answered your PM Smile

Prizes have arrived!  They will be picked according to Top 4 placement, with the 4th Place blader getting whatever prize package is left!
