Other Information:
Please come prepared. It is helpful for both hosts and judges if all participants bring at least one Takara Tomy or Hasbro-manufactured Beyblade of their own and more than one launcher when possible. Additionally, parents of children under the age of 13 must be present for the duration of the event, as tournament end times can be difficult to estimate, and we would hate for someone to be left behind once it is over.
Be aware of your belongings. We'd advise users to please, please look after your stuff. While yes this is a Beyblade tournament and we're not suggesting that any of us would attempt to take each other's stuff it is still happening at a public venue where other people (who may not be so friendly) are going to be present as well. Of course, if you see a personal belonging lying around bring it up any of the judges so we can return it to the right person. Your co-operation is appreciated!
All players must arrive on-time. The tournament will begin no later than 1:00 PM and is expected to run for about 3 hours, though if there is a large turnout it may take longer. Please plan accordingly. If you do not arrive at the scheduled start time, you risk being excluded from the tournament. The software we use to run our events–Challonge–does not allow us to add in extra participants once the tournament has started.
If you know in advance that you will be late, please post in this thread or contact someone at the event and depending on the circumstances we can perhaps still include you if we know you will arrive soon.

Here's a friendly reminder to everyone, at the moment,
THIS IS A BURST CLASSIC FORMAT TOURNAMENT!
And if you don't know what that means, you should definitely read the rules and consult the parts spreadsheet.

If you show up without parts legal for the format, you might not be able to participate! If you aren't going to go through the effort of ensuring that you have valid parts for the format, you should consider deregistering.
I don't know who you're trying to kid here DC, no one who needs to read that is going to read that and you know it.

That's the sad truth. I wish people would read those, because then they wouldn't be confused when they're told they can't use certain beyblades at the tournament

1st Place - The Supreme One
2nd Place - Geetster99
3rd Place - Yami
4th Place - Hello321
We had 29 players in total
A huge thanks to everyone who competed and those who came just to battle against some friends! Other thanks to The Supreme One for adding a top 4 list! It seems to me then it's common for most people to not know who the top finalists were so a huge thanks to that! Hope to see you all in the next tournament!

A frustrating question that keeps getting asked! We're busy people, we'll have new tournaments soon, but until then you can be patient and keep your eyes on the tournament announcements page.
EDIT: Staron OH! You know what? You asked THE SAME QUESTION after Old Beyblade III! And I gave you the following answer:
"Uncertain yet! Please be patient. I believe there might be a tournament Northeast of Baltimore on a few weeks.
I really can't say this enough, never ask "When's the next tournament" or "When's my tournament match" because we're all busy people trying to juggle busy lives and busy tournaments. We really need you to be patient, or at least, not voice your impatience."
And here you are, asking it again!
Recommendation: Don't ask a third time or you're getting official warning percentage, complete with tempban.

Glad you could make it, DreadAqua Hopefully you'll be able to compete next time too!
We hope you all enjoyed the tournament, all 29 of you!
- 5 noshows. What else is new? Don't register for tournaments you don't attend. No one got warning percentage this time, but the second infraction will lead to 20% for a year.
- People still don't read the rules for Classic format. Well, you can't fix people. I'm sorry the format is so difficult to understand, but making it easier will require you to click on things and read them. I look forward to next month's ZeroG, which is going to be a REAL mess because borrowing beys will not really be feasible. I borrowed during one of those once and broke a launcher!
- I loaned out 3 beys during the first stage, and I only got 2 of them back. Sorry, but I won't be loaning parts again! I can't remember who it was, or what the bey was. I want my bey back! I can't remember who that missing bey was loaned to, possibly turtlspriggan.
- This was my first time at this particular venue. It's a bit on the cramped side, and it got very hot in there. It's a good space, but a bit small.
- I went 3-2 this tournament. What can I say? I was beaten by burst (my D.R.R isn't as tight as Yami's D.R.R) and someone beat my Y.H.L combo using opposite spin. That's life! They beat me fair and square.
- Some of the people I loaned parts to made it to the finals or to the tiebreak before the finals. Huh. I guess I should be using some of my other beys instead!
- Assault' really outshone everything else at this tournament. It tornado stalls for a very long time, and then it maintains excellent stamina in the center. It's way too powerful and I think the committee is in the process of banning it now from Classic format. I had some counters ready for it, but I never had to face it. It doesn't have many counters.
- Please don't try to talk to a specific judge when they're in the middle of judging a match. They are busy.
- We have another fun set of top 8 determination logic today. Yami managed to stop me in time before I pushed forward something incorrect! Sorry about the mixup. It led to literal hours of debate on Sunday about the wording of our current tiebreaker rules. It turns out they currently say one thing but mean something else entirely, so that's being looked at. We might see the finals logic change soon.
- We had a 3 way tie for 2 spots in the finals. Had a round robin to determine who made it. I have nothing against tiebreakers, and I have no issue with running them. Don't fear the tiebreaker.
- TSO is continuing their winning streak! Yami and Geetster continue to do exceptionally well. Hello321 crushing it as always, and it was good to see LeftBurst make finals again. Us also-rans are catching up, Jaydog Tangy and I. We'll make it back to the finals one day!
- Stop clicking your launchers. I know they do it in the Hasbro commercials, but clicking launchers damages gears and breaks your launchers. They do it in the commercials because they want you to buy more launchers after they break. They don't do it in the anime because you don't need to click it. I witnessed people clicking a brand new Master launcher. Horrifying.
Overall a fun tournament!
