Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST

I don't pay attention to the grammys because I don't need a panel of people with generic taste to tell me what music is and isn't "good" by their standards.

Also because, you know, it's the grammys.

Yah, I heard about that.

Also, let me edit my original answer. Most modern music is ew.
I won't go into an explanation as it will turn into SPAM and a huge argument, probably. Let's just leave it at the fact that it's just my opinion.

A lot of music from any given time is awful, it's just most of the bad stuff doesn't get remembered. There have been Biebers and Miley Cyruses pretty much as long as music brought fame. The world will move on, given time.

That was so awesome. Probably the highlight of the whole thing.

Some modern music is great, tbh.

I hear Ringo Starr and automatically think of the new PPG special, haha.

Speaking of which, any PPG fans?

I have been totally itching to talk to someone about this PPG reboot!

First of all, the art style is so strange.. The colors all seem to be muted and significantly less eye pooping then the original. Why in the world do there eyebrows show over the hair hanging into there faces?

Anyway.... so unimpressed...
I'm a huge PPG fan, but the new series just looks too weird. Even if it was as good as the original, the art style would get on my nerves.

On another Random Thoughts note: @TheBishop Any reason why you've taken to writing in italics? Not criticizing, I'm just curious because it's something I've noticed lately lol

You know, I started italicizing my posts to give them personal flair. I have always had tendency to want to do things differently then my peers. And urge to push against the flow..

When i write a post, I'm quite meticulous (even if i'm just spouting random nonsense) i never post my reply without Previewing it at least once,
I have found taking this step to wrap the italics around my words gives me a chance to step back and look at my post one last time before finally submitting.

Edit: possibly i'm whispering Wink
Fair enough. Not a bad idea since it makes it easier to distinguish your posts from others, especially when someone is quoting multiple users, without being in-your-face.

I tend to read italics with a different tone of voice in my head. Just like when someone is typing IN ALL CAPS.
So to me it sounds like you are putting constant emphasis on every single word. Soon you'll actually need to use italics, but I guess in that case you could make that bit normal text instead, hah.
I always read his posts in a low British voice, haha. But it does stick out, I'll give you that.
Hey guys! I'd just like your opinions on this. How do you guys like my new signature? What would you rate it out of ten and, i'd also like some feedback on my editing skills. Thanks Smile
Shouldn't this discussion belong in some other thread? The italics discussion too.

I think it's an 8. Mainly, because it looks kinda plain.

That belongs in the General GFX Thread.

On topic now, I freaked out today seeing that I have a C+ in Spanish. I hate it, haha. I also freaked worth seeing I had a 62% in English!! I came to find out it was because the teacher hasn't put a few grades in yet, haha.

Haha, I can't even tell if the grammatical errors are on purpose, especially if you are as meticulous as you say and have previewed it at least once.

The special itself was good, but the 2D/3D-ish animation style got be a bit erk'ed.

However, the voices were the same; so as far as that goes, it was impressive.

Part of me wishes Him was in it, but then again, he still scares me to this day. Tongue_out
I loved the PPG!! I used to watch them everyday when I was little. Stopped watching when I hit 11 I think. Now I'm 13. I do miss Him. He scared me too, haha. The design just kinda went down hill.
I love PPG! Though I'm not impressed with the new series-.- I love the original better!Joyful_3
Just watched the special & I loved it, actually! Same VAs & good comic relief... if only it was an actual series like I originally thought it was lol
I finished 3 out of my 4 exams!! I am so happy I could honestly cry because I managed to get an 80% in advanced functions (math basically). The teacher told me that I was literally 0.5 marks away from a 79% in the course.

The American History exam was pretty easy, most of it gave you a choice on what questions you'd like to answer. Also I got to type my English exam which was pretty cool.

So yeah, I'm pretty happy with my progress so far. Now there's just physics to tackle and then I'm off to second semester (which will hopefully give me more time to be on the forums)!

Nerd.
Half of my finals are done! Got the results back for the physics final I took early on Friday. Got an A on that, so that's pretty dang awesome. I only had to take two finals today, one in math and the other in psychology. All I have left for tomorrow are the finals in English, Programming, Drafting (pretty much a 3D modeling class where we use this one program to draw stuff), and Web Design.
Best part of finals, four day weekend afterwards. Too bad half of it will be spent at a Speech and Debate tournament, hah.
Um... I'm not sure if this goes here. But somethings been bugging me. I love Japanese music, but I really don't like/hate English music.

My friends say I'm weird and not normal. Is that true?
Everybody is weird, haha.

Don't let it get to you. Enjoy what you enjoy doing.
You love ALL Japanese music and hate ALL English music? If that's the case, then yah, that's weird. However, preferring Japanese music over English music isn't weird, it's sort of like preferring rock over rap or something.
I only like 5 English songs I think. Thanks Tri!

Dual: That first part really hurt my feelings, but I guess I asked for your opinions. So I shouldn't be.
