I have noticed some people that are signed up for this event are also signed up for the New Jersey Regional event. I just want to remind all of you that it is 1 regional PER BLADER! Meaning if you come to this one you cannot go to the one in New Jersey, North Carolina, Florida, or anywhere else.
I hope I'm able attend, I'mma try my hardest to make it in this Tournament
Does anyone want to volunteer for judging and helping me keep the regional organized before I start going around and asking?
Keep in mind this isn't just a normal ranked event. This is the event to represent maryland as one of the best bladers here at the Florida event. Take pride in your blading skills. A lot of bladers in this area have come very far from where they started. Maryland is arguably one of, if not the top region for beyblading. So come prepared to play hard, have fun and make beyblade history not just for the wbo but for yourself!
Question: Is hitting the wall of the pocket but still bouncing back in still a wall KO or does the match continue?
(Mar. 14, 2023  7:32 PM)Walkure Wrote: Question: Is hitting the wall of the pocket but still bouncing back in still a wall KO or does the match continue?

It's dependent.  If your bey hits the back wall and bounces back in without making contact with the opposing bey beforehand, the match continues.  If your bey does get hit by the opposing bey in which it hits the pocket wall and bounces back in, it's a wall bounce KO.  The WBO is still experimenting with the new KO ruling which could only be applied in unranked events to my knowledge.  The new rule they are experimenting with is wall bounces don't count as KOs anymore but normal KOs are now 2 points instead of 1 point for both first and final stage.

WBO organizers rn have the option to run the new KO ruleset, but the event would have to be unranked since its still experimental. From my knowledge, all of the BWC Regionals aren't really running the new KO ruleset really.

So it's probably hitting the wall by the opposing bey is a KO for one point? That's the rule I'm used to, just remembered that there was some experimenting going on

Thanks for the reply!
