Hello Everyone,

Tampa Bay FL is now looking to have tournaments under the World Beyblade Organization.  For my debut WBO event, though I am no stranger to running tournaments in general, I have teamed up with Gamers On the Edge for their yearly Charity 25HR Game-A-Thon event!

Update 10/19:  After taking a look and coordinating with ProfeLoco aka the head of GoTE, it looks like it is definitely possible we will have at least 8 players to make this fully ranked.  Please join and/or tell your friends if you are able!

Number of Players:  24 Player Cap
Entry Fee:  Free Entry, $2 Venue Fee (check with the Front Desk at the venue or message joyos)
Date:  November 2nd, 2019 @ 1:00PM
Location:  The Minnreg Hall, 6340 126th Ave, Largo, Florida 33773, USA.  This is a standalone building with its own parking lot, so it should be relatively easy to find.  Food, gas and lodging are located relatively close if needed.

Bracket:  TBD
Format:  TBD According to Number of Entrants.  At this time (10/23) it looks like it will be Group Round Robin.
Payout/Prizing:  Top 3 will have choice of prizes (Currently have Garuda G3, Dread Phoenix P4, Air Knight K4, Turbo Achilles A4, TT Random Booster Vol. 16 or TT Random Booster Vol. 17!)
Tournament Stadiums:  At least 4 (Takara Tomy Burst BeyStadium B-09)
Free Play:  We may have extra stadiums available but free play cannot be fully guaranteed

Schedule:
  • Registration begins at 12:00PM or Earlier if you are present.
  • Registration ends at 12:45PM. We will begin the tournament shortly thereafter, as close to 1:00PM as possible.
  • See more details under "Need-to-Know Information" below.

1. Organizers, their Events, and Event Pages are independent of the World Beyblade Organization website or Fighting Spirits Inc.

Event Organizers are users independent of the World Beyblade Organization website, Fighting Spirits Inc., its directors, members, staff, or volunteers. Event Pages and Events are coordinated and operated separately from the operations of the World Beyblade Organization website or Fighting Spirits Inc, controlled solely by individual Event Organizers.

Under no circumstances will World Beyblade Organization, Fighting Spirits Inc., its directors, members, or staff be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages that arise from independent Events advertised on the website. .

It's Burst Standard Format so it will be in TT Standard Burst BeyStadiums

i wish i could go, but i live 6 hours away and i doubt my mom will be open to driving that far for a beyblade tournament.

The rule set is listed on the event format, unfortunately this is a Burst Standard tournament so you will not be able to use Metal Fusion beys

As of this post there are at least 8 people that have joined the tournament so as long as that holds up we should be a ranked tournament!

Hello Daiga,

To answer your question, you can use God Valkyrie instead of Genesis Valtryek but you cannot mix TT and Hasbro parts.

Well one: they are two different generations and two: Burst beys can burst and metal fusion can not.

the metal fusion don't burst and the are to strong actually against the Bey-blade bursts because of the bursting of the beys!

Depends on my schedule.  My tournaments will not always be in Largo, but will definitely be around Tampa Bay.

Also, it seems Ever-Wish got my order wrong, so we won't have the RBV15s available as prizes.  Sorry to anyone that wanted a chance at those.
